F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.
I think the $203/$190 price is definitely because of the price drop, as it has slowly been falling since last week. However, before the announcement, the going price was around $213, which is still nearly $40 under MSRP. I'm tempted to see how low it will go before the drop, so I could get the free downloadable games, but I think I'm going to wait it out, because I am also anxious as to see the warehouse price after the drop :D (I'm hopeful for atleast $150, but $130 definitely seems possible_
It's definitely gonna be around $120-$130 after drop

You must have missed during the first month the 3DS was released when it was $225 in the warehouse , then a week later it was $200 , and so on. then that magic $190 before the price drop even happened so it will get below $150.
Dare I say $99 D: D: that would be sick

I would absolutely buy one at $100, but I think that is way too much to ask in the next few months.

I actually have only been looking at the 3DS warehouse prices for a month or so, but this makes me hopeful! $99 would indeed be amazing!
3DS is nice, but i personally prefer the DSi XL. that screen size is all the difference. I'll probably wait for the 3DS XL :)
*** 3DSi XL

I turned on my DSi XL to finally start playing Radiant Historia and I sure have missed it's big screens. I hope Nintendo super sizes the 3DS soon, but they'll probably wait a few years.
As soon as you buy it they'll announce the 3DSi XL Micro.
That's when will wait for AWD to sell it for $134 Like new/damaged box and that'll be the topic for a month or two.
As soon as you buy it they'll announce the 3DSi XL Micro.
And when you buy that one they'll release the 3DSi XL Micro Lite SP with a super-special Super Nintendo colored theme.

Gotta catch 'em all right?

How has the overall quality been on what Amazon Warehouse Deals considers a like new handheld? I'm tempted to grab a DSI or wait for a DSiXL deal. I see one on there now but it's only listed as acceptable.

Oh I wish that happens. Improve the battery life and improve hardware.
It's dropping to $169.99 NEW on August 12, so if you didn't get the memo, don't buy this.
...Maybe he thinks the 20 free games he will get will be worth the $20 or so? That's what I did with my wife's 3DS anyways.

Bought two PS3s move bundles (not handhelds, I know) that were "like new". One I don't think had ever been turned on or even opened. The box was significantly damaged, so I think that's why it wasn't being sold as new anymore. The other looked like it had been opened, hooked up, maybe played for a bit, and returned, but was still in very excellent condition.

$20 and it not being a new system. It's not just a $20 loss. The system will be LESS then $169.99 used after the 12th. I'm hoping to see prices on the order for $139.99 for it. Most of the free games I'd get we already have as GBA carts or I'm not interested in anyway. Well, there's a few I'd be interested in, but we could always pick them up for the GBA, and then we have the benefit of being able to play them without using the 3DS in the process, thus it's available to play by someone else. So having them on the 3DS is a wash as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather pay less for the system.

I took a chance and bought a DS Lite that was listed in "acceptable" condition a few months back.

The handheld itself came in excellent condition. No scratches on the screen, and the unit was clean, along with the included charger and stylus. There was one very tiny, light scratch on the outside top of the case (which didn't bother me because I like to get fancy decal girl skins for my handhelds). It didn't come with its original packaging though, just a substitute brown box with a beat up looking instruction manual. They system functions with no problems whatsoever.

since i am buying a 3ds when the price drop happens, i have been looking for games...

i saw new super mario bros ds complete for 15 on warehouse deals, snagged it

Black for $15? Damn dude. It actually trades in to Amazon for over $25 lol. :applause:

Amazon has pokemon black for $11.99, with free shipping shipped by "XpertGames.com" It says ships from hong kong. I am a little bit skeptical on that one...

Don't do it.
Anything from Asia thats marked down over 50% = Scam
MOF anything marked down 50% that's not eligible for Prime usually is a scam.

If it sounds too go to be true it is.*

The seller doesn't even have any ratings. I wouldn't touch that with a 29 and a half foot pole.

EDIT: Yeah, look at the prices of other things in the store. There's no way you'd be getting ANYTHING from that guy. Not even a bootleg.

Yeah this is exactly what I was thinking. Once I saw Hong Kong, free shipping, and "Just Launched" I decided no way was I touching that. Does Amazon offer any sort of protection from 3rd party sellers scamming you?

Common Sense. ^^

No but really they're EXTREMELY Pro Buyer.
All you have to say is "Never recieved blah blah blah"
Then they go all Oprah and give you GC no questions asked.

just a heads up guys it looks like textbooksrus updated a lot of there prices. I got some decent deals. good god my girlfriend is going to literally kill me if she gets wind of the money i've been spending
FTFY. Sorry, pet peeve.
YOU GET A $20 CREDIT, AND YOU GET A $20 CREDIT, AND YOU, AND YOU!!!

Bahaha!

Just scored a copy of Pokemon Black and Pokemon White, both used - very good, for $14.96 each! The seller is kevhead media. I have been meaning to give these games a try and they trade for $27 at Amazon right now. Seems like a win win.

Edit: The seller seems to be sold out now. The games are going to be fulfilled by Amazon. That pretty much means its not a scam right guys???

You can still return them if you don't like them or they turn out to be bootlegs.
It should be easy to tell if they're a bootleg if they don't play on a 3DS or DSi.
bootlegs work in dsi .... i should know i got 3 bootlegs of pokemon plat.

This is true, but if you ever see a used game being advertised as only working on DS, then that is a bootleg.
