What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

how many returns did you make?

 
Teru. I received a warning letter Around August... I have returned More than 10 items in this year....
I've returned probably like ten items this year at least but most of the time I reorder the same item so I guess they figure it evens out? I think the only thing I ever paid to return were my textbooks because I wound up dropping a lot of classes for health reasons.

Did you contact customer service about the e-mail? There were reports that people got them for no significant reason and nothing happened after they contacted customer service.

Yeah, hard to believe Amazon would bring down the hammer for ten items per year without warning. I'm thinking that there has to be an additional circumstance like having a return rate extremely close to your buy rate or something.
 
Is $25 a good price for Zelda Ocarina game on the 3ds? Should I not expect to see it at $20 or lower? Thanks
If I recall correctly, Best Buy's website had Zelda Ocarina 3DS on sale for around $20 during the holiday season. That doesn't guarantee that you'll see it on sale again any time soon, though.

 
Thanks man. look forward to their reply tomorrow. Most items I return is the collector edition because it sometimes miss certain things. Sometimes, I accept the item and ask for partial refund and it also count as a warning of banning amazon account.
You're banned. So why not tell us the full story? How many items did you return vs how many did you buy?
 
Grabbed a good red/black 3DS XLfor $115.82. Didnt see the description because I didn't want anyone else to grab it while I screwed around.

heads up there are new workers at amazon who are too lazy to do their jobs. instead they will forward your email on to account specialist to get your account ban. I got a kindle fire last week that was damaged how they shipped it. Wrote back in yesterday to see where the refund was and the worker goes

O i see you get a lot of credits (was given a 5 and a 10 for the kindle problems) im going to report you to the account specialist and get your account ban and disconnects the chat. Well i call up amazon and talk to their boss and was told that many new CS people are sending people to that department instead of doing their jobs.

if your account is ban you will get any remaining gift cards back as cash (they can NOT KEEP YOUR CASH)

i be pisssed if they ban my account since i have a ps4 coming

o and that [email protected] email will not help you. the account specialist is an entire different department within amazon. Your going to have to call amazon and demand to speak to their bosses about this

I love how they ban you from buying stuff but then go O YOU Can still spend money on our KINDLE LOL like if amazon bans me i would ever give them another cent

Explains why I've not been as happy with their support over the last 2-3 weeks. Hopefully they get these new workers straightened out, or maybe they are just extra help added for the holidays. Nobody wants to be concerned about having their account banned for returning an item.

I remember talking with you about this back in June. I remember you telling us it is over AWD items that were not complete and hence the returns. Sucks if it is over that issue.

Yes. Actually, I seldom (maybe never) return order from Amazom.com. But I return several orders from Amazon warehouse deal this year.
They give that warning. If you keep returning items they ban you. I think if you return over 10% of items over a period of time you get flagged. Something like that.
Thanks. I have no choices but to return some items from amazon warehouse deal. For example, some are missing manuals and some collector editions are incomplete. I am very worried about now. Maybe I am too picky. I should have accepted all these minorly incomplete order.

Tread with caution my friend since your account has been flagged. In previous threads I have read how people were banned for something similar so it is not out of the realm of possibilities. Once banned, you are banned for life. I also read that if family or signifcant other had a linked account, they got banned too. If they used the same shipping address then all the people from that address got the ban hammer as well. My advice to you is buy something that you are going to keep and if the purchase carries a risk (AWD's acceptable items) then don't take the plunge so that you can avoid returns. Sadly even if you are in the right, if your returns to buy ratio is high, then you risk getting a ban for what they consider abuse.

2 members here on CAG did get banned and ubanned. One called the customer service folks and explained them the situation and got the ban reversed and the other e-mailed Jeff Bezos himself (with well written explanation) and got his ban reversed. Hence, if you really did not abuse the returns and you are in the right, contact them and get it reversed. Good luck!

Explains why I've not been as happy with their support over the last 2-3 weeks. Hopefully they get these new workers straightened out, or maybe they are just extra help added for the holidays. Nobody wants to be concerned about having their account banned for returning an item.
I am so unhappy with their overall level of service since mid October. Trying to get them to switch one of my PS4 games from the B1G1 promo code that isn't back ordered for a month and a half shouldn't be like pulling teeth.

They switched it for me just last night, though that was for the B2G1 free: they chose to issue a return label, give me a credit for $59.96, then stay on the phone while I placed the new order for one of the games included in the promo list.

I also called on Sunday to inquire about not getting a B1G1 coupon and, after being passed around from rep to rep, they just flat out gave me $50.

It sucks how you have been having a litany of problems as of recent. Seen your posts about them and sadly the holiday season is upon us and the service deteriorates a bit during this time so folks are going to have some issues. This happened last year around October and lasted into February of this year. For some like ckc4043 it has been happening on and off over the course. I love AWD but they do have quality issues from time to time. That is part of the reason their grade has fallen to 91% where it used to be at one point at 97%. Hopefully they will get back on track with the extra help. We shall see.

I'll try again in a bit and hopefully get someone more cooperative. It's just getting frustrating because every issue I've had with their CS had been relatively simple requests or questions and gotten unrelated blanket responses. Just checked my email and got the policy on lightning deals from the rep which was entirely unrelated.

Maybe you need to include a translation of the email in Indian so they understand the situation. On that note, I wish NBC hasn't cancelled Outsourced a few years ago. Gupta was hilarious.

I liked that show too but that's NBC for you. I just find it annoying that I haven't had a productive exchange with CS since I tried to complain when they didn't even ship my Pokemon preorder for four or five days after release.

I then asked if they could just cancel the trade-in, so that I could fix my error, and they offered to give me the difference to buy what I wanted. I declined because like people have said, these credits don't come out of thin air.

I do like that Amazon is blunt as fuck though. "You cost us money. Bye n*gga."

It seemed like that guy was returning everything he bought which meant Amazon was making nothing and just paying money for shipping back and forth.

 
I just have to say oh the difference six hours makes in who you deal with for CSR.  Get someone who actually clearly understands what I'm saying and instead of repeating some policy back to me immediately has a solution.  I just sat here while he did his thing, everything's straight and says both games are arriving Tuesday.

I've only had to return items twice from AWD. One was Injustice that was "Like New" but had been resurfaced so much that it looked like there wasn't any original disc left. The second was recently when I ordered Little Big Planet 2 but they sent me the Special Edition which is very common and not what was pictured.

As far as ordering collector's items, it's always a gamble. Stuff isn't brand new and it's super cheap for a reason.

I don't think we'll get any more details out of ckc4043 than we already have. By his own account, it looks like he was treating AWD as a browsing section delivered to your home where he could haggle down the price if things weren't up to his expected standard, and not the AWD graded standard. It's the only way it makes sense as the other would be that ckc4043 had the extremely horrible luck of constantly buying all the improperly graded AWD items in a short span of time.

Like someone already said, these credits don't come for a magical money tree surrounded by unicorns.So if you're buy rate is close to reflecting your return rate, they'll most likely cut the strings.

Well, the price for new has been fluctuating recently between $33 to $40, so it might be possible to get it at a lower price than $25 and the Acceptables sometimes pop up for around $20. On the other hand, there might be better deals for and after Black Friday, so if you can wait that might be a good idea. I bought because there's still a high demand for pre-owned (ebay auctions regularly end at a higher price for cart only) so unless there is a msrp drop or a major retailer sale, I think it's unlikely that the used prices will go down significantly in the near future.

Have you guys dealt with customers in person or online before?There are some customers that whine, bitch, and pretty much return everything. Or they demand discounts on shit they bought long ago, and threaten some sort of action if things don't go their way. They're usually rude and have an entitled attitude, too, even though you're losing time and money because of them. They are a minority of the total customers but they take up more energy than they're worth (and they tend to lie about everything).

Not saying CKC is like this, but damn I can see why those types of "customers" get the boot.
