What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Have you guys dealt with customers in person or online before?There are some customers that whine, bitch, and pretty much return everything. Or they demand discounts on shit they bought long ago, and threaten some sort of action if things don't go their way. They're usually rude and have an entitled attitude, too, even though you're losing time and money because of them. They are a minority of the total customers but they take up more energy than they're worth (and they tend to lie about everything).

Not saying CKC is like this, but damn I can see why those types of "customers" get the boot.
I fully support retailers banning customers. They make it worse for the rest of us.
 
You're banned. So why not tell us the full story? How many items did you return vs how many did you buy?
Actually, I can't check my account anymore. I think the ratio between return and buy is 1 : 1. starting from February. It is my responsibility. I need to suffer from what I did. King of AWD and all other Cags, thank you guys for your help in this few months. I ordered a lot of cheap games from this thread. I am glad for you guys help. Most desperately, I have saved more than $100 promotional credit for Black Friday, and now they was in vain because they don't send back any promotional credit in addition to the trade in promotion $30 DS4 and $20 Beyond two soul. Here is a remind. I have learned a lesson. Because I am too picky, I always return the items instead of accepting it. You guys are right. I deserved to be banned.

i am actually surprised they are not more posters in this thread, who  are banned. From all the haggling they done, by contacting amazon cs to get a partial refund, and keep the item. Like one example i Saw before,

person A: "well, i contacted amazon, because the dlc/codes, did no work/ already redeemed , and they give me a partial refund. "

Well at least you're willing to take it in the chin so i'll give you that.

A 1:1 ratio is really unusual. I probably have a over a 15:1 ratio so that makes me feel better about whenever I have to raise claims with Amazon in the future. I've noticed it a lot on the AWD thread but a good amount of members here (partially due to the nature of collectors of games) seem to treat the site like a rental service. Just because you buy it at AWD, doesn't mean you should return it just because it comes missing with something. If it's not new, it's not guaranteed. Period. ck's banning should be a big warning to you guys that like to treat AWD like some rental store.

Well my wonderful run of luck with AWD continues. Sounds like everyone else's 360 arcade turned out decent but this one's a mess. I mean it's disgusting, grimy, all the port covers on the front broken off, missing the controller sort of mess. Haven't gotten to hook it up and test it yet so we shall see how that goes. I've gotten some things in interesting condition from AWD and it still shocks me they would sell it in this condition.

I'll take one later. One of the memory card doors wasn't broken off, just stuck, but there's something on the inside that's loose.
 
But anyways, I love King of AWD forever. Without him, I couldn't get many good deals in the past.

I think that one was an "A" for "Awesome".

I'll throw my vote in for pics too - I think that the 360 arcade units were especially good at looking like rotting hell when they got messed up. At the very least it would make me feel better for once again missing cheap consoles.

Well, I'm not even mad but my brotherhood CE came in today and it was the 360 version XD.

Everything was there, and in relatively good condition.

the things that stood out was the little plastic slip shell around the cardboard box (that CE's sometimes come in, that little plastic part that just slides off?) came with the top pretty damaged, cracked and coming apart but who cares thats just a plastic shell.

The top of the box showed some damage that it was bent (the top section that lifts up) but inside everything came in really good condition.

Reminds me of eldritch with his wonder pirate woman where the leg is coming off, where one of the arms has popped off on the jack in the box. But nothing a little glue won't fix.

All in all I am really glad to have the CE especially for the price (and bonus points because I would have preferred it in the 360 to begin with!)

thus far I haven't had to return anything to awd so I have either been lucky or the return ratio is skewed in others favors as almost everything I purchase is ln.

 
Hearing stuff about these bans kind of makes me afraid of contacting Amazon for my lost trade in package.

Well, it looks like it is lost as it was supposed to arrive on 11/11 and sent it November 2. Its now November 14 and it doesn't even show the arrive date anymore. Last time it was updated was on November 8.

That's all I see right now. It hasn't been updated since and the estimated arrival date has been removed. It still says "In Transit" though so I have no clue what is up. Might wait a few more days.

You are in the right to contact Amazon just to get an update. Contact customer support via chat, email, or phone to inquire about the status of the package and see where it goes from there. If it is lost, then Amazon will tell you that and credit you for the missing items.

 
I would definitely contact amazon.  Most of the time people that get banned aren't telling you the whole story, its not just asking them a couple questions or returning a handful of items.

I agree, there are too many questions that go unanswered. One of 2 scenarios of the banning (I know of) was a result of a person cashing in on promos using 2 accounts from the same household and or dealer activity while other was treating the place like a rental shop with getting promo credits and such. Amazon has one of the best customer services until abused to death and then they have to protect their business interest and ban people. Extreme as that may be (keyword extreme) but it happens as we just learned today.

I am so unhappy with their overall level of service since mid October. Trying to get them to switch one of my PS4 games from the B1G1 promo code that isn't back ordered for a month and a half shouldn't be like pulling teeth.
I was chatting with someone for over 2 hours on Tuesday trying to explain that I wanted to switch one of my games, but didn't want to lose the B2G1 discount. I would explain what I wanted and she would take forever to respond with what I knew were wrong answers. At one point, she charged me an extra $60 and told me they couldn't fix it. I was finally transferred to the supervisor who take care of me in a matter of minutes. Worst customer service experience of my life. I was shocked they didn't give me anything for my troubles considering the way they seem to throw free credit at people.

My $40 arcade was just an xbox in a regular box in bubble wrap I think a game was supposed to be included but didn't come with one but they threw in a wireless adapter so I'm fine.

Well, I've had some games denied for silly 'reasons'. I haven't traded in a console.

Worst that can happen is just them denying their item. From my recent exp, the trade-in department has been hit/miss.

If I get to that point I usually just ask for a supervisor after the first miscommunication. I've never been denied that transfer and things immediately get cleared up. That said, I rarely have problems with Amazon.

@ckc - well at least you understood why. kudos for not doing the "I'm contacting the BBB wwaaaaah" thing. 1:1 is really excessive. I'm assuming you mean 1 out of every 2 items. That's nuts. Thank you for answering that. Most people who get banned say stuff like "I've only returned 6 things last year! I have no idea why this happened." And then you realize the 6 things he returned for $2k laptops.

I think I've returned 1 out of every 30-40 items and I was worried about returning this one item i just got. guess I shouldn't be.
