F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Is this "Packaging may be damaged." a dinger?
Generally speaking it's a good indication if it's something that has outer card board packaging and is a newer item. Games in normal cases will use say something about wrinkles or creases, that sort of thing.

For example this just popped up:

Wii U Gamepad Nerf Armor Blue G $11.28

Says packaging may be damaged and is likely a dinger.

Gross. Why would you do something like that? Disgracing one of the greatest video game heroes ever made.
Even though I haven't (yet) played the last few games, I hear the games already did that...?

AND it's not JOE! It's Another Joe! Although he's awesome too! :) It's all in good fun. It will go back to normal in about a week.

I understand your example, but I think you just found an exception to "dinger" status. You can't ding up or damage Nerf! :p

:wii: Just Dance 2014 A-VG $17.81-20.78

Well if the nerf armor was damaged then it wouldn't be a dinger now would it? They should just package the nerf armor in nerf and there wouldn't be any dingers... but then you would never be able to get it out of the packaging.

Another Joe is one of the best villains (well, his true identity is).

Air raid!

Wow, I had no idea that if a shipment came late it was Amazon policy to extend your Prime membership by one month up to 12 times a year.

Yea, I read about that last week. One of my games didn't come until 2 days late. I didn't tell them about because it was UPS's fault. The tracking said "delayed due to mechanical trailer failure". I wasn't going to complain about something thay wasn't their fault, since AMZ is so damn cool as it is.

I would have, that's a free month for a reason the policy covers. I wish I had known about this back when they were five days late getting Pokemon to me.

Most AWD prices seem to be going up but I got a VG Code of Princess with Sound & Visual CD/Artbook Inside for $20 after tax. Said there was a small wrinkle/bend on the outer set case and shrink wrap was missing. Doubt its a dinger but the damage doesn't sound too bad. I guess I'll see. Either way beats paying $40 at release.

too slow.
Yeah, I saw that too. Bet one of the figures had a wrinkled backing or something crazy based on my experience getting Skylanders off AWD.

Not dinger, if they opened it up to see the small bends on stuff and the mark on the disc, that means it was opened before. Missing shrinkwrap does not always mean dinger, sorry. I bought one recently that was said to be a dinger by a few people, was not.
so it was a used item? how would anyone know that AWD didn't open it up because the outside was crushed, to check and see if inside contents weren't destroyed/disc would still work? Maybe this box got ran over by a warehouse forklift or some other accident? I'm just saying dingers could come in all shapes and sizes

Lego Marvel (VG) and Battlefield 4 (G) both for PS4 came in today.  Both looked to be brand new, but the China Rising Map Pack code was used.  I assume the  7-day trial is used as well but I won't be able to tell until my current sub runs out.

Also, Cheapish Swap Force 3-Pack.

Our FYE by the campus is going out of sale here in Tempe and I saw all the Skylander shit on sale and was like, "If only this were AWD..." They were between 30-50% off new.
