F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Not sure how close you are to a Kmart(s) but they have it on clearance for $9.97. I picked up a copy there.

What was your fave? Portal 2?

By the way, I really recommend The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, if you're looking for a good break from Shooters or what not, and enjoy a nice puzzle game.

I had so much fun with it I bought Jack the Ripper off of eBay, got a sealed copy for 9 bucks, should be here tomorrow.

And a super easy 1,000 gamerscore

I would rebuy Catherine in a heartbeat if they'd port it to Vita. The gameplay structure would be perfect for playing in bursts, on the move.

Thank you! I will check that out tomorrow.

I'm waiting for $15. I figure it'll be happening sooner or later because of how marketed the game was. Until then I have a big enough back log to keep me busy.

I looked into my copy of Phantom Hourglass and I found a Club Nintendo code. I entered it and now, thanks to Warehouse Deals, I finally reached Platinum status!
weird that used copies of Bully 360 are going for so much now that game use to be a bargain bin staple
That's how I got mine.

My Halo 2 LN for $3.08 came in yesterday in near perfect condition. There was a crease on the back (as if someone put a knife to it) but it's not a big deal. The manual and disk were there in perfect condition as well as the cover. Wish I got another one for my brother but I guess we can split screen the game.

Another great Warehouse deal!

First time posting,

You guys have me addicted to this site. Thanks for posting all the deals.

Got Amazon Prime and bought a few games. Everything is in great condition. I ordered Max Payne 3 for X360 and got the PS3 version for some reason. I called and they emailed me a return label. Great experience so far.

I saw Tomb Raider (LN) is there for $27.40, but I think I'll wait for another price drop.

This site rocks :applause:

Was scouring AWD for 360 slims a d just yesterday I somehow won a Halo 4 Collectors Edition 360 Console (without the hard drive and game) for $103. I don't need the hard drive since I have one already and just won a Halo 4 CE for $20 yesterday as well. Not just ramblin though, was wondering of the new 360's have any problems or if I shouldn't worry buying used, the seller told me its like new and he took really good care of it for 5 months.

Secondly, I'm thinking of picking up Gears 3 CE on AWD for $19.50. Are the extras in it worth the extra $10?

The slims are very reliable. I personally haven't read many (if any at all) stories of console failures. And if the seller said he took really good care of it, you should be in good shape.

The Gears 3 CE stuff isn't really worth it unless you're an avid fan of the game. Nothing special really... besides an oversized, heavy cog.

No you fool, run! Run while you still have a wallet!

Lol you guys aren't kidding. Some of the games I probably will never play, but the deals are just too good to pass up.

Last Friday was brutal, had about 4 or 5 black label and diet cokes and decided it would be a good idea to search through AWD. I woke up the next morning and saw I had bought like 10 games lol. One of them being.....wait for it.....Neverdead. Whyyyyyyy?

Good snags. I've had two of the slims since the first day they went on sale and both are running fine without any problems. I think one of them sounds a little louder than the other now but I think that's just in my head.

Haha. Awesome, good to know, thanks! Worst case is I can return it if it's DOA, but it seems like it will be fine for a long time.

Additional finds over past few weeks:
- Dragon's Lair Trilogy (Wii - LN) - $11.33
- I-Ninja (GC - LN) - $10.54
- Halo 3: ODST (X360 - LN) - $4.66
- Saints Row 1 (X360 - LN) - $8.60
- Saints Row 2 (X360 - LN) - $3.96
- Metal Gear Solid (PS1 - LN) - $6.93
- Bayonetta (PS3 - LN) - $12.64

On a side note, has anybody figured out a good way to monitor for price changes? I'd ideally like to have an alert that notifies me when "Game X" is in "condition Y or better" for "price Z or lower". There's a few third-party sites that offer alerts, but haven't found any which also take condition into account.

My current setup is to have multiple Amazon wishlists separated by system and to check the wishlists for price drops. Fairly quick to check, but still a manual process.

I had a launch slim that started not recognizing disks 6 months ago. Finally quit reading everything; wound up trading it in to GS for $80...
