Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition. Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

I was sure it was a dead lamp someone had returned but somehow I did get luck and it's a pretty amazing LE for the price. Also, it was packed extremely well so I'm kinda surprised at all the destroyed product stories. Thats why I was wondering what the difference would be between a "Good" and "Like New" Origins LE.

The one I ordered had a noticeable amount of creases and dents in the outer box, but aside from one of the plastic swords that accompanies the statue being loose at the bottom of the package (easily put back in its original spot), everything was in pristine condition, including the Black Armor Edition steel case. Hopefully yours arrives in a similar--if not better--condition.

So my Gold headset is having problems hearing other people.  When I turn on my PX5's last night during a COD match, I could hear my teammates but when I turned on the Gold, I couldn't.  My friends say they can hear my mic on my Gold's (via text), but for some reason my Gold headset is not picking up their mic chatter.  Since I have the PX5's, I have my PS3 audio settings set to "optical" instead of HDMI.  Any ideas as to the cause of my problems?  If I can't figure it out in the next couple of days, I'm going to return my Gold headset to Amazon since I'm running up close to my 30 day return period.

Wow very interesting. I wonder if the Xbone Titanfall CE's are coming to a halt. There's about 12 left for the PC version.

On that page it says:

Just received my grade 6 160GB PS3 Slim from Cowboom. Had to set up everything from scratch, as if it were new. I can hear the fan going, though, it's audible.

How should I properly stress test it before the 14 day return policy is up?

 
In a strange turn of events the ps3 super slim family entertainment bundle I got last week for $133. The PS3 now randomly turns off and becomes unresponsive after about 30 min while $25 60 Gb seems to be running better the more I run it. The Feb bundle is going back for sho.

Play The Last of Us. Also, play any type of PS1, PS2, and DVD you have to make sure it reads them all.

The Last of Us has killed a few PS3s in this thread so far.

I am sick of seeing that gold ps3 controller being there, should I buy it then cancel it just so it stops pissing me off? gahh where are the deals!

That's pretty standard with all these CEs with crushable outer packaging when they get a lot of dingers.

Well, I don't own The Last of Us, but I do have some games. Do I just leave the system running for a few days, non-stop? Should I leave it reading a disc the whole time?

I just want to make sure it's not going to crap out on me in two months.

ughh and I was so close to doing it, but seeing it going for $500+ just makes me want to cringe. I would rather see a $500 PS4 up there //2

This might not make it sound better to you, but it's a pretty sweet metalpack thanks to the embossing and detail. Also, you could trade in just the game disc for $30 at Best Buy this week ($33 in-store if you're GCU) and make the statue cost closer to $50 in cost.

This may sound stupid, but did you try adjusting the game/chat sound balance? If you got them from AWD the previous owner may have just muted all chat in favor of game sound.

If tweaking that doesn't work, try disconnecting the optical out, turning the Gold's off and back on, and making sure they're associated with the right user.

Also, if anyone is looking for Golds but would be interested in Pulse Elite's PM me. Mine are practically new, available, and reasonably priced :whistle2:0

Just bought this one. Been looking to get Dark Souls 2 for a while. I hope the packaging isn't too bad. Although I just wanted the game. I guess the statue is a bonus. Also, it finally got me out of misery from refreshing the store page and this thread like 40 times a day each.

Ditto, was there for quite a bit of time. Couldn't pull the trigger. Might wait a bit longer to pick it up if at all. I don't need the statue but another metal pak (have the BA edition sealed) and the artbook would be great. Hopefully it will drop a bit in the next couple weeks.

hmm. I just bought a PS3 SS locally, it passed fifa and a blu ray tests, ill have to try last of us and a dvd. What happens with last of us? just freezing?

It will overheat the processor. I was about 85% through LoU on my 80G fat PS3 and it desoldered the processor(s) leading to the YLOD. Fortunately, I employed one of the many online fixes and it's working temporarily now. Finished LoU quickly and transferred my saves on a flash drive and synced my trophies. Now playing Ni No Kuni which I think is much less stress on the system. I'll probably just have it reflowed by a local shop the next time it takes a dump or I find a cheap cheap super slim.

Yea, I did consider it, but I'm trying to be a good CAG (if that even makes sense, lol) by keeping costs low and diminishing the backklog.

I have too many large display items with no space anyways. Now if the total cost came down to $25 or so this would be a different story!

But it's smashed and has a label holding it shut saying "Graded by Amazon Warehouse"

Idk if I should even open it or send it back?

I meant to ask: If I'm going to use the 60GB PS3 I bought only to play PS2 games, do I need to test it with TLoU? It's already played at least one PS2 disc (DW4) with no problems.

Didn't you get it for a great price? At least open the AWD seal and see what condition it's in first.

No, no, no. That would be too subtle. They explode.


They freeze in 20 minutes or less. I think most times, it becomes permanent.

You only need to test TLoU (or any blu-ray for that matter) if you want to make sure the blu-ray laser works.

That's pretty standard condition for those BD CE dingers and I saw pictures of way worse.  I would bet the stuff inside is just fine.  If it's not I've never had an issue returning an AWD item just because it was opened if it was damaged.

believe it or not compared to a lot of bravely default ce from amazon it aint as bad as most. if you were expecting to find a dinger like a mint condition or just a minor damaged one from amazon you wont since most of the ones also sent to preorders from amazon were damaged which is why amazon still have them. so if you wanting a mint condition one or even just a slightly damaged ones from awd then I would suggest trying a different place to buy one at then.

 
Opened and the case for the game iteslf was not sealed, idk if that's normal or not, but the CD was still sealed and the deck of cards/book was not bent in any way.

Game inside is sealed from the factory so probably not a true dinger but one someone played first and returned. Still doesn't sound too bad.

Thanks for the info. I did run a bluray movie for about an hour and it didn't have any problems. A different SS (last of us bundle 250 GB) I bought new freezes all the time when I play New Vegas, but I figured that was normal with that game.

Not worth it. Look up how to beat Ground Zeroes in 10 minutes on Youtube. I spent most of my time figuring out what was where but just knowing where to go seriously devalues the game. The bullet time thing is ridiculous.

I just got tired of it and I ran through the map hitting R1. The best mission is the side mission to destroy the air guns.

Super Mario 64 is only a 2hr game by the definition of a speed-run then. Some people also don't just play a game once then trash it.

So you can see someone do a speed run of 1 mission in the game?

You can turn the reflex off as well...

Game was worth every penny to me, still haven't even came close to being done with everything in it
