What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

What is AmazonSmile?

About AmazonSmile

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?
On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

for whatever reason Amazon applied my credits on my order of Let's Go Pikachu the other day, thought those were supposed to be for digital items only but I'm not complaining

So they are literally taking away one of the only reasons I was considering renewing Prime, even with the price hike.  I used to easily make back $50 or more in eshop credit from those transactions.

Good bye and good riddance Amazon.

Very disappointing. The No Rush credits almost offset the cost of Prime for me, now I'm not sure it's worth $120 a year without the No Rush credit applying to PSN and XBox cards.

Yeah exactly, the price hike recently was okay for me because I figured the $20 bucks or so I get in No Rush credit made it okay. This sucks :/

no more...starting with any new credits earned (credits that expire October 15, 2018) new digital no rush credits earned no longer apply to digital video games or digital game cards/codes. Offer only applies to products sold by Amazon.com or digital content sold by Amazon Digital Services, Inc. (other than limited digital content). Rewards may not be used for the purchase of software subscriptions, gift cards, digital video games or memberships.
Cancelling Prime next year for sure now.

What's the source of the no rush digital not applying to anything non-amazon digital? I think I might skip renewing myself next year.

Me, when i tried to buy xbox credit with no rush rewards. :whistle2: Seriously I was hoping someone knew a backdoor way for still ordering stuff but it looks like they nerfed it for real.

I also noticed last month they quietly removed the ability to check the balance of an Amazon gift card online.
huh that's weird, also it's alwasy been a pain in the dick to check your credit balances, I always have to go through some mp3 shop balance to get there

If they were from older orders they still work on those cards, new earned credits don't. I have $15, $12 that expires in September, $3 that expires in October (from orders in the last 10 days - 2 weeks) I tried to order a $15 XBox card and it only let me apply $12 towards it.

Ah ok, thx for the clarification.

I wonder if that's intentional since I don't see Amazon mentioning this on the digital credit (then again, I haven't been offerred it in a while, they keep offering prime now service discount so I just end up selecting my 2 day option).

Maybe new credit earners should try call customer service to see if they can fix it (or really confirm).

The more outrageous thing on Amazon right now, you can't buy PSN credit unless it's $50 min order. Haven't been able to do $10-25 since April...

I noticed this the other day but hadn't realized it has been that long. Thought it was an isolated event. Of course the only time I bought was when I had no rush rewards so I guess I won't feel the impact now.

The new TaC is clear about it. " Rewards may not be used for the purchase of software subscriptions, gift cards, digital video games or memberships." Link

Aww.. :( guess I'll be sticking to 2-day shipping everything.
Same. They’ll be losing money by paying more to ship my things faster... this doesn’t really make much sense, but I’m oddly ok with it. No more dilemma of “do I need it faster or can I deal with waiting” when ordering almost everything.

Prime day is fast approaching. 10 percent off but they Jack the prices up 20 and restrictions apply!!

Anyone else having issues with the search filters from the OP providing useable results? It pulls up games but no longer has the warehouse only listings. Even a query I created myself awhile back is acting the same way.

Yeah I noticed this started yesterday. Looks like Amazon severly broke the warehouse again.

It's not just the OP link; the same problem happens when going straight from Amazon main site.

Is there a coupon to get the 20% off? I'm not seeing it. And yes I'm prime.

Got my Ni no Kuni 2 CE in today. Other than the Warehouse stickers all over the front of the box, the only issues (and I'm guessing the reason it was returned) was a dent on the back corner of the box and a matching bent spine on the upper corner of the artbook. Everything else was in perfect condition and still factory sealed. For $58 after coupon, I couldn't be happier.

My like new Ni No Kuni was anything but. Large amounts of tape on the box which was scuffed up and dented. Then opening the box revealed it to be missing the steelbook, music CD and making of. I've contacted Amazon and they took 50% off the $60 price... Which makes it not bad. But I'm still debating on whether or not to keep it.

Just curious how that conversation played out? I recently received a "like new" copy of Darkest Dungeon for the Switch that was anything but. Arrived in a warehouse baggie and was utterly crushed. Amazon rep I talked to wouldn't entertain anything short of returning it. Curious if you brought up the discount or did they? I tried but with no success.

Honestly, the chat rep offered it to me without me asking. And initially it was only 30%. I just said it really disappointed me that a "like new" product arrived with missing items and he upped it to 50% (again without my asking).

I used chat as well for a copy of South Park TFBW (the steelbook version) that came all sorts of messed up and with codes all used (even though it was like new) They just gave it to me, first thing she said, no return necessary. I have no idea how they decide what compensation to offer, maybe it depends on price point or account status but I hardly shop there anymore. Probably my first order in the past six months.

I ordered a PDP vita grip......Holy moly the dead skin crust inside.

That's what I get for trying warehouse definitely returning this after I try it out a bit to understand why the heck this thing is over 100$ 3rd party
