What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

About AmazonSmile

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?
On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

Hadn't heard of the warehouse before. I'll have to keep an eye on it!
You can get some pretty good deals on Warehouse, a lot of stuff ends up there that is just a dinger that somebody decided to return to Amazon, just be aware of the stated quality when you purchase, I haven't been burned so far, Used - Like New is generally still sealed

it's not just video games that on AWD that are slowly fading away... over the last few years I've found some unfuckingbelievable deals on stupid toys n stuff, and now that category feels like i'm looking at a flipper at a flea market's junk... all eBay prices for jacked up AWD packaging, no thanks!!!

Does anyone know, can boardgames be sold back to Amazon or was this a customer return and someone ripped Amazon off? Just a curiosity question at this point.
Stolen. I had a 2400 piece LEGO set that was missing about 2000 pieces. I was at least the third owner of the set. I wrote a note and duck taped it to the box saying it was unsellable. Amazon listed it 2-3 more times.

Sad, very sad. I have since seen other high end board games on AWD with similar descriptions and avoided them like the plague. Potential savings arent enough to warrant the frustration.

I didn't realize they did this, and actually ended up buying the same stolen item again because they relisted it. Got it, sent it back, was then sent back to me again. They don't check anything.

It has a barcode on it, so they just scanned it back in. Feels like your order doesn't matter until you complain.

I work for Amazon (for one more week) and quality control on EVERYTHING is fucking terrible. They don't really care much about the quality of your work. They do a little bit, but quantity and being quick is 95% of the importance. No one does their job correctly (as in quality) and they don't get held accountable. If I get something to package that's damaged, I can either take extra time to mark that item as damaged, or I can just put it in the box and ship it like that to keep my rate up. I get negatively affected if I take the time to do something right (slower rate). If the customer complains about getting a damaged or poorly packed item, nothing happens to us.

I guess on the bright side, when I've had problems, their usually quick to just give me my money back and let me keep the item. But still, quality control sucks.

Hey, I'm returning a New 3DS XL for a full refund, only the box will have Pop Tarts in it, so it'd be great if you could just approve that when you get it.

Just cut the barcode off the 3ds and put it on the box of pop tarts and send that in so you can keep the 3ds box and you're all good.

That's pretty much every job I've had, not one care for the costumer, just fake 'costumer service'. I would do the same thing as you, just ship whatever out and someone else can deal with the mess later. But I would think that there would be more checking for returns than there is. I mean I can go buy a Switch and return PopTarts and Amazon wouldn't know a damn thing.

It also goes into the government and corporate propaganda of the news. Let's make it look like a second Amazon HQ will be an amazing thing for one of the 20 cities left, when they will be complete shit.

Nope. Every single package is linked back to you. You can be fired for that. And quality is the easiest thing to get fired for.

Technically anything good and above comes with the case and only (A) would be cart only. But really these days there's no way to relably predict anymore.
I'll give it a shot. I recently bought Grandia III (A) with Downloadable content (DLC) or codes for online play may require additional purchase. Large cosmetic damage on cover art and figured since it didn't have the usual comment of missing something it might be CIB. It came in disc only. If this game comes in cart only I'll return both.

A cart game listed as very good - item may come repackaged means its loose right?
The condition doesn't guarantee the completeness of the game. Look specifically for the description (seller note) to say, "includes manual, cover art, and packaging." It seems unlikely but you can occasionally find cartridge games complete. I picked up Ecco Tides of Time for the Sega Genesis this way.

Seems like a total crapshoot. I recently bought a copy of Super Mario Land 2 from AWD that was listed as Like New and “factory sealed.” What I got was a loose cartridge sealed in a bag.

Yeah for older cartridge games it's definitely more miss than hit. Take 'factory sealed' with a grain of salt.

How do you know the bag wasn't sealed at a factory? :whistle2:&

First time looking at AWD in awhile and I noticed there were a couple of games that are “Like New” but they don’t come with case or manual.  When did that start?  I thought that anything above “Good” used  to come complete.  Has AWD really went that downhill if so that’s pretty sad.

Bought a like new Fire Emblem Warriors special edition, when I got it the boxed was a bit beaten up and the game cartridge was missing. Started a return and ordered a good one and planned to mix the best of both before returning the other, but the good came and everything in the box was sealed and perfect, and the box was in better shape.

interesting find, xbox one x scorpio editions for $392.35 Good rating, 10 listed, most mention damaged packaging. i know with coupons the x has been as low as $360 on ebay, but afaik this is the lowest ive seen on the scorpio edition, especially if you get a dinger.

What's a safer bet for a dinger on a like new item? "Factory sealed" or "item will come in original packaging, packaging will be damaged?"

What does this e-mail mean exactly, I think I'm under the radar?
