Perhaps I haven't had enough coffee this morning, but why would you want to use MS points and how would that be convenient?
If your saying MS points for the live downloads, its more convenient to use the points on xbox live marketplace, as there is no code to enter.
If you can get a 1600 points card for cheaper than $20, and use it on an amazon xblive game that is discounted, that would make the game all the cheaper.
But yeah, I doubt it would happen. Seems like it would be a lot of work on amazon/microsoft's part for no real benefit to them. Especially since you can buy content off of microsoft's site with points.
I don't understand the hate on Undertow at all, either. I got it when Microsoft offered it for free, which surprised me because it seemed like one of the highest quality games on the Arcade.
Undertow IS pretty good but it gets hate because alot of peeps don't like the steep learning curve. Some people just don't the patience specially for a XBLA game which some view as "simple" games.
yeah, it is awesome they are offering a game that half of xbox live users were given for free
It was being sold for 800 MS Points before it got given away for free. The only reason for the giveaway was Live issues they had during the holiday season back like in '07. They chose a quality game to give away as an apology to all Live Subscribers.
Undertow is a good value at $5.00 points for new users who missed out.
Ughh I'm really bored right now and been debating on getting it. I'm just in bed and too lazy to get up and change disc in my xbox so if I buy an arcade game I don't really have to move.
Anyways I played Undertow's trial last night and didn't see anything bad about it. I'm going to wait until monday and if I am bored then and they don't have anything better on sale then I'll get it and if its not on sale anymore than it wasn't meant to be.
Its bashed for a reason. Even for free, I didnt get much out of it and my expectations were low because that was the first arcade game I got (just got a xbox 360 a week before they gave it out for free)
The fact that Galaga Legions/Pac-Man CE/Doom all sold out at the sale price within 2-3 days while this is still sitting there after almost a week says something about its quality.
Not necessarily. Those are three big names in the video game world. Undertow isn't. Frankly, it's not that bad, in my opinion. I only really played it a bunch of times over the course of a few days, but it seems to me that bashing it is one of those things that just "caught on." There are games a lot worse than Undertow.
The reason why Undertow hasn't sold out is probably because most people already picked it up for free when Microsoft was giving it away.
It really isn't a bad game, it just takes some time to "click" with you. I didn't really like it at first myself, then it just clicked with me and I spent about 3 hours straight playing it. It's not perfect, but it's decent at what it sets out to do.

If your saying MS points for everything else amazon sells, why would you want to convert to space bucks, and then but something with a price converted to space bucks, when you could just pay cash?
Have you not thought of people who already have a large number of points sitting in their Live account? I have about $40 worth of points that I'd love to spend on XBLA games on Amazon...but I can't , and it'd be great if I was able to somehow spend those points I have already purchased on Amazon on XBL items.
And no. Why the would anyone want to spend MS points instead of real cash on anything else BESIDES things that require MS points.

Be that as it may, Amazon would never start accepting Microsoft points and so it's silly to even suggest it.

Jesus Christ. I already said it would never happen in my other post. I was just clarifying what I was saying to the other guy since he couldn't quite grasp the concept.

No. None at all actually. I just have problems when I have to repeat myself or when people think I'm a complete moron because they misread what I wrote

Now that's a pretty good bargain, although I'm still not sure I want to buy Flock. Seems like it could get real old real fast. Now if they had Puzzle Quest Galactrix for $10, I'd be in like Flynn.
EDIT: I wonder if Amazon will ever start dealing in codes for DLC. Would be nice to pay for odd-priced content in cash rather than be stuck with 40MS points left over.
yeah, i got a 4000 points card and I'm having no luck as well when inputting the code.
It's good to know that you and I, individually, aren't the only ones... LIVE must be having some issues.
It sorta sucks the $5 credit for 1600 points or the $10 for the 4000 points can only be applied to the Amazon Xbox Live store. That being said if Amazon keeps up these deals it won't be hard to apply that credit.

Anytime I get a live error on codes, I try the alternate entry. So, if I get an error on Live, I go the website and redeem it there and vice versa. One of the two ways has always worked for me.
Humm I having trouble redeeming my amazon code for 4000 points via xbox live. "an error has occurred. Please try again later" Previous live game codes via amazon worked fine. Guess when I get home from work I will try to enter it from the console.

When I bought a game on there it didn't work right away. I thought I put it in wrong but I kept typing it and I kept getting an error message... eventually it just worked.
I bought a 4000 points card because I don't have any, currently. I'm excited to use these on games like Space Invaders Extreme and Virtual On.

Already tried both - numerous times.
