I was able to add it to cart and purchase it. It says estimated delivery is the 18th and I even have PRIME. Not really sure whats going on as now if I try to add it to my cart you can not.

I am so sad that I missed this and the MM N3DS XL :wall: Both by mere minutes.

 
I was also just able to get in on the $49.99 Amazon MM LE just now.  Here's a fun story....  An hour ago at Best Buy in Phoenix they put out Meta Knight and all of the new ones, but not at the open (because that would be too nice) but 9 minutes after.  I went back in 10 minutes after store opening to pickup a previous order, just to find out they let 2 guys buy a BOX full of Meta Knight. 

 
only ended up with MegaMan also at Toys r Us it was the last one and my sonic came in from amazon today. Now all im missing is Ike, Deedee & Metaknight from wave 3 and my set will be completed of all available smash figures so far

I'm seriously starting to worry about those of us who pre-ordered MK for in-store pickup.

 
TRU was moderately good this morning. Didnt have Ike unless you pre ordered, but good stock on Dedede, Megaman, and Sonic. No problems, there 2hrs before opening. 3rd in line. Went smooth.

TRU In store Preorders.  They had them locked away.  I asked about their opening this morning and they had 5 extra of each... albeit 40 people showed up.

My Sonic shipping from Best Buy is still "Preparing Order"

 
Finally got a "Preparing Order" status update for Sonic at Best Buy, but it was shipping in 1-2 weeks.  And now the status has gone all the way back to Order Received.  Interesting.

So I went to TRU and managed to get a Megaman and a KingD. One thing that caught my eye was that below King D's name on the label, has its name in different languages. Roy Dadidou, Rey Dedede. Did I just get ripped off?

No, characters with French and Spanish name variants have these listed below the English name. NA figures go to Canada and Mexico too...

Nevermind, I was wrong. The NA version has all his names on it too. That's bizarre, does King Dedede have a different name in Canada then?

Pretty sure thats not imported. Its the US one.

Well I struck out at TRU this morning.  There were six guys in line in front of me 15minutes before opening.  The first two had been there since 8AM so there was no point really.  But for the first time ever the store handed out tickets to people.  They only had like 2 Dedede, 3 Mega Man, and a couple sonic.  So basically only the first two or three people in line got anything. 

Oh well, that was expected.  It's easier to hunt these things through reddit scores during the middle of the week.

I got a Shulk today. The GS I got it from has earned my business for everything I can't get with a GCU discount.

I went in on Wednesday and the guy told me he didn't have any but he would hold one for me that a customer that has pre-ordered every one and not picked up any. I went in today and it was waiting on me.

His associate wanted a Lucario, which I had at the house. I told him I would sell it to him and he asked how much. I just parted with it for $15, which is cheaper than what I paid for it (MSRP plus tax).

I'm just waiting on my Lucario from Japan but Shulk was my biggest worry.
 
Struck out on king dedede. TRU only got a couple in.

Hopefully I can get it at bb u next week with mk.

I'd like a king dedede. Hopefully target or toys r us has one. Only one I didn't preorder that I now want. After getting meta knight I want all kirby characters

 
Ordered my shulk months ago. Out the blue...cancelled. You kidding me...random.

Was able to score two in a web in store preorder though today. This amiibo crap is now inconvenient..

Scalpers go away as fast as they add up. It all balances out. People eventually realize they're wasting all sorts of time for $10 flips and they don't even know how to sell stuff online or how shipping at the post office works.

Looking at all the amiibos I have collected, not one has its name in different languages except KingD. Unless there's something I don't know about him, any answers would help make me feel better about purchase. Right now I feel like I got scammed from TRU selling an import lol.

Pretty sure a few of them had multiple languages on the box....hmm, I believe villager and Wii fit trainer had the English names and 2 other names on their boxes as well.

Edit: @ray2dee I had forgotten about Captain Falcon as well haha.
