I live in Bismarck. The Mandan location had 1...not sure if they had more since I couldn't find an employee in electronics to ask. I'm shocked cause I haven't seen anything worthwhile here since the Rosalina day

 
So after reading several posts I kinda want to clarify.So as long as I got the "your walmart.com order is ready for pickup" email.. I'm good? They won't put it out on the peg? I'm only asking because I'm not exactly sure if I can pick it up before this weekend and that would really suck. "Great news - the items shown below are ready for pickup now through 1:12 p.m. (CT) on Tue., Apr. 7!"   I'm only asking because I'm super surprised this one worked, after the first failed attempt. And it's only an hour away.

Also, there are two villagers at a target two hours away... I'm not that desperate. At least I think so.

I'm kinda surprised by all of these rares just randomly popping up in places. I was expecting some after Xmas returns but at this point, it seems so strange...

Not exactly true, when I ordered a couple of Sonics from Walmart I got the "Ready" email. I showed up to pick them up and they told me they had already sold one -.- So I got a refund and that was that, others say they put them aside, half of the employees don't even know where the pickup location is. Is this really that hard WM?! Needless to say after trying orders with 6+ stores all orders are quickly canceled for GM. Oh well, keep trying I guess.

 
Yes, the different scale and different colored base means I can't mix Luigi and Mario from the better Super Mario set in with the rest of my SSB set...

I think if they don't make more of these (don't say limited edition anywhere) they will be bringing $100 on ebay come Christmas time. Especially if the amiibo craze continues. If nintendo makes cards of rare figures I believe it will drive the figure prices up further. Just what I think. I had a friend who got some night they released and he sold one for $70 listed as being in hand before ebay got the flood of them. They dropped by middle of next day to average of $50. Once the quick buckers run out of them and people see stores out of them all those who have yet to get into amiibo's and lots who already are will be in bidding wars wanting one for their collection and as possible gifts. I'm still trying to understand how just the box for one brought $37.50 plus $5 shipping yesterday? A bloody 22 bids bidding war is all I can figure or either none of them looked at the pictures or read the description.

 
Much appreciation to whoever first posted about the in store pickups for gold Marios. My order was fufilled yesterday and I got around to picking it up today. Was half expecting a standard mario when they handed it to me but he was a shiny golden god.

Thanks again to the person who posted about captain falcon being available on newegg. They shipped last night. Now I play the waiting game to see how they arrive.

Thats actually a no brainer, one is a retailer exclusive and if you just look on ebay, there waa 4x more MM 3ds xl listed than the MH version.
 
Not sure if it was mentioned here before but reddit gamestop manager dude says no preorder for wave 4.

Where can I find a list of the correct Walmart item numbers for these? We have the dcpi numbers for Target in the op, but nothing for Wally World.
 
My Toad from Amazon show up today, crammed into the box and the card warped.  On the up side, I got my shipping notification/tracking number from NewEgg for my Captain Falcon.  Too bad it's coming via DHL.

He's more or less common at this point. Like Sheik and Diddy, he started out hard to find because people were hoarding them, but supply has started to exceed demand.
