I still wish nintendo would be better at producing because preorders selling out in less than 5 minutes is ridiculous, but I don't think it is a bad idea to keep A FEW rarer ones around so people don't lose interest. It is a delicate line to walk between over and under producing though.

Been off CAG for the last month, stupid question time...what site should we looking at to get a Lucina preorder since I see the preorders apparently went up once already and that's why they are already sky high in price. Any chance preorders will be up again or no? She's the only character I want so just curious if she'll ever pop back up or just pay scalper price.

Amazon hasn't opened pre -orders yet so look there. Supposedly according to someone who did an amazon chat they said April 17th they'll open pre-orders but obviously can't 100% trust that so be watching amazon for pre-orders.

Amazon, Target and Walmart have yet to put up preorders, so I'd actively stalk them. A few people have been told by CS reps at Amazon that preorders start April 17, but take that with a grain of salt. Although that date is exactly six weeks from the relase of wave 4.

I think we will see it, but it won't last long. I've ran into the Majora's Mask New 3DS in the wild recently and it looks like Nintendo released more of those, which sucks because I have already bought the New 3DS with the $50 gift card Best Buy gave me after my canceled pre-order.

I think the reason the stores got them recently is because of the ship port strike.

 
Patiently waiting for the next wave of amiibos

I also need to order the rest of the super Mario series (I have toad, Yoshi, and Mario. And gold mario is on his way :) ) I like how much nicer they look. I'm not sure if I should continue to try and collect all of the SSB amiibos, pac man looks so eeeeewww

know you're trolling, but wouldn't it be grounds for dismissal if a Nintendo employee were allocating amiibo to sell? Now that I think about it, does anyone know what happens to 'review" copies companies/sites are sent? I'm not talking about an individual that runs a blog or youtube, but like IGN etc. I wonder if the IGN unboxers of CEs etc actually gets to keep it. If they do can they be fire if found selling it?

I put a post up yesterday basically saying this. They could even offer each wave to keep it simple. Have the figures ready within 2 or 3 months of ordering. It would work easily all they'd have to do is have the amiibo up for ordering at the production stage. That would be far too logical thinking for Nintendo's marketing department these days.

Although I agree this would be best for us, I see a lot of issues for Nintendo with this strategy: Not as much demand (no rare / hard to find items), much more investment in logistics (sending Amiibo to a million places instead of large warehouses), no floor space in stores (where you might end up buying other products from them), etc.

 
So I noticed that Play-Asia put up pre-orders of Japanese reprints of Wave 3, so I was going to nab a Rosalina, Shulk, and Lucario, since the store exclusives were impossible to get, and even those seem to have sold out.

What the fuck is going on?
 
Grabbed one, thanks!...still working right now, though if its like last time...I was on it as soon as it was available and it kept saying error even though multiple people were ordering. I even tried 2-3 browsers, 2 mobile browsers, and the target app. This time it worked for me tho. Another one down.

Cool, managed to get in for one. I'd attempt a second or third for trades but I'd rather not risk order cancellations. All-in-all, Target has been pretty good for pre-orders outside of Rosalina.
 
Gotbone, tried to order two to get free shipping but it kept changing it to 1 at checkout. Not even mad. First time Line group has done anything for me! Woohoo!
 
That was so nerve racking. I couldn't get logged in, and then got locked out of my account. Finally, got it to go through when I changed my password. Was about to leave for work too so this worked out perfectly

That's what I'm doing. I give a rats ass for Jigglypuff but I am going to need some unicorn store exclusives to trade for other store exclusives.

 
I was worried when I saw the link had already beeen up for 5 minutes when I saw the message, but thank god I managed to get it. Now that's one less exclusive to worry about hopefully. Now I just need Greninja...

 
holy fuck i was panicking. I tried using Paypal first and after I entered my Paypal info I got this error page and had to start over, used my credit card and it worked.
