NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Gamestop in store /ship to home order (wife did it for me...waited an hour for it to go live) = Robin/Lucina/Ness.

I'm tracking the package all the way to our city and then my jaw drops the next day when UPS tracking shows the following....underneath a big green "Returning to Sender"

The package contains multiple, differing tracking numbers. / The package will be returned to the sender.

I called UPS and of course they said to call Gamestop (couldn't hold the package at the shipping facility, etc.),

I called Gamestop and after about an hour of waiting here is the bottom line of what the representative told me (even with me fighting tooth and nail)... "wait for the package to show as returned to sender.  Call Gamestop and request a replacement.  If there is no replacement available, we'll provide a refund to you."  Trust me, I questioned the logic of the whole thing, the reasoning behind what he was saying, but I got nowhere =(.  I'm now on try 2 for live chat.

Anyone with a similar (lol) experience or suggestions?  Thanks ...

After watching your link to the YouTube video, his has the line as well so it is normal. Mine just seems really obvious I guess. Thanks for the link to rest my worries.
 
Picked up a Greninja off the shelf at the Newark, DE TRU this afternoon.  There were two left at the time, though I imagine they'd be gone by now.  I remember a post on Reddit saying that location got in 180 Greninja on Friday.  So, from 180 to a sellout in 4 days....wow.

Though that TRU was the place to get there early/camp out. They had 16 of Martand at least 4-8 Lucina and robin plus a load of all the other wave 4. Wish I had gone there first instead of Dover Target.
 
The Oxnard, CA Best Buy had 4 Meta Knights in stock. They didn't put them out though, only reason I knew they had them is because I saw a security guard walking around with one.

Had to ask a couple people to go in the back to get it for me, so if you don't see it, ask.

 
Newegg finally cancelled my Ike pre-order from January, haha. You know how Iwata said that they're limited the pressings of certain amiibo because of the lack of shelf space? I wish we could all just send them photos of the empty amiibo sections at just about every Wal-Mart and Best Buy.

damn a lot of oxnard peeps here. thats why i don't get good deals from them anymore... oh well. congrats to you guys.

 
last Friday, I saw a Meta Knight in the glass case where newer games, handhelds, etc usually are.  It had a note on it with someone's name.  The name happens to be the same name of an employee I'm cool with lol. That employe was at Best Buy along with another coworker (both didn't work that day) at 7 something in the morning.  They happened to get the only 2 Lucina/Robins.  I arrived at the store before 9 (one person ahead of me not counting the 2 employees).  Tickets handed out at 9:30.  Store opened at 10, and all amiibo were reserved until 10:30am.  I got all everything aside from Lucina/Robin at this Best Buy including all 3 of the Splatoon packs and Silver Mario.  I picked them up around 10:20am which resulted in me getting the last Wario (bent cardboard), Inkling Boy, Inkling Girl, and 3pack.

another Best Buy (read on reddit) got 4 MKs Monday or Tuesday.  Gone within an hour I think.

I meant to say a little damage in my last post. Very sleepy at the moment.

Here's a close up. Both corners bent. It's not terrible but considering all of the other packages I've gotten in the past were mint, this is a bit of a bummer. Ness isn't too bad, it's the plastic that got dented a bit. Hard to tell in that pic.

Almost the same for me exvept i have lived in this same location for 5 years, and It said Cant find address, return to sender, I called UPS and said ILL COME GET IT!!! lucky they let me pick it up on monday but dang i was scared!

 
What ever happened to the Cosmic Mario/Metal Mario/Zero Suit Samus Custom Amiibo that was suppose to be sold by Toys R Us. I still want Cosmic Mario.

In previous waves I've always been lucky with shipping but this time around I got more damage than ever, creased robin and lucina from amazon, and banged up jiggles from target

I don't think they ever existed as real products in the first place. Somebody's "uncle at Nintendo" probably leaked that information.

When you're talking about the collector market, every little thing counts. Look at books, comics, and coins, where the tiniest blemish can mean a loss of hundreds, or thousands, of dollars.

As for this poor bastard, I feel bad if he's a collector, but if he's a scalper or "trader" HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he opened it to display if I remember reading the story, he said the figure had a slight "dent" in it.

 
That post about Jiggly being the most viewed and fastest sold item in Target's site's history is pretty ridiculous. Really? I don't know if I should find that funny, sad, or both (probably both). Can't wait to see how the higher ups who don't really get what's going on there screw this up. The situation is bad enough.

Sorry to the dude who had his smashed. I can picture the delivery truck guy just piling on like a massive box full of reams of paper or something onto Jigg's stupid face xD No offense to her fans, it's a love/hate thing.

Neither. How often do people shop online for items apart from Amazon. Much less shopping online at Target whose website is more of a means to do store pickup.

It really wasn't that hard to become the fastest sold item on Target.com especially for an exclusive rare item.

 
Hmm, well were other highly desired electronics like the original Wii or other consoles available online? I know I got my Wii from Target that cold November morning. I would have put money on those claiming those titles. Never underestimate the power of Pokemon I suppose (and scalping hype xD.
