I have two GS about 30 minutes away. One of them has held amiibos for me twice.

The other store i can never get them to answer the phone or if they do I'm always put on hold so i hang up after 5 + minutes of being on hold.

Stores are less then a mile apart as well.

 
I've been told they're not allowed to hold them, however most stores around here have employees who get that these are hard to find so they agree to hold them (I wouldn't have gotten pit and captain falcon if I didn't meet two employees who were cool and said, "These are way too hard to find, let me call around and find someone who will hold them for you").
There's literally one store around here who won't. I would mind so much, as I get they're bending rules, if the lady in charge wasn't a total bitch about it..she is very rude.

Grabbed a few Meta Knight's from best buy today for trade (if anyone wants!) in the Williston VT location. They are outback and you will need to ask an associate to grab it for you but from what I could see they had like 8 left

Your gonna be pissed. Lemme guess you called boston rd for shulk. I did too they said on hold so dont bother so i called up Enfield. First come first served so i jumped in my Truck and 20 min later lucky me nobody got the lone shulk that came in!
By the way go back to Holyoke they had 10 left when i checked out today at 2ish
 
Wal-Mart shorted me 1 (of 2) Lucina. Ended up with a refund for it. Not cool, but the rest came in just fine.

No luck on Meta Knight. Employee said they never received a restock and they have no way of checking. It was not worth the effort to explain.

That'd be awesome, I've got a few near me (26, 44, 747). There should be a site or number for this to make it easier. Calling the store just results in them pulling up BB.com -.- not every shopper is age 50+

Maryland and virginia both had meta knights last saturday..tysons and columbia stores
 
I think I have a problem. I started collecting amiibo last week. LAST WEEK.
 
I've been resisting because I know I would be addicted to this. See what happened? Now it is even worse, because I can't find the older amiibos anymore.

26 has a bunch in transit. The other 2 don't have any. South ridge, Appleton, Green Bay, wausau all have 20 plus in transit. Delafield and Stevens point have the most in stock right now.

No idea how close those are to you

Good looking out, I was able to grab the last Meta Knight on the shelf at Southpoint Mall's Best Buy at 5:30 today. Thanks bro
 
sure sucks for me the closest BB, target AND TRU is only 30 miles away -.- so worth the drive to MAYBE get one
