Tempted to order marth and wft from Amazon France. I know the writing on the bottom of the Japanese figures is different from the us. Anyone know if the European figures also have any difference on the bottom of the figures themselves?

I'm only going to collect ones that come from series that have some sort of hold over me. So I'm pretty much getting any Mario, any LOZ, and Donkey Kong, and Star Fox, any Kirby, and any ORIGINAL pokemon. I don't need the new pokemon. Oh and if I can find Marth for a decent price then I'll do Fire Emblem

Found a Diddy Kong and a Zelda at a Target today. Diddy sold fine, Zelda said street date 12/14 and they refused to sell it to me. Went to a TRU and got Zelda. C'mon Target, step your game up.

I just find it hard to believe that some of these will NEVER get restocked. Amiibo has been a thing for, what, not even a month now? I think it's just the holiday shopping madness that has everybody freaked out about the availability of these things. If they eventually come down in price or are made available again, cool. If not, I won't be upset about it.

If this was any other business on the planet I'd agree with you...but this is Nintendo. They constantly shit on the USA while showering the rest of the world in glorious prizes. This is the company who has refused to put Pokemon on a console after all because they hate billions of dollars.

It's in store only this week, probably to avoid glitches. They have a gift card deal instead for website orders.

Stock seems to vary by store in my area, some available tomorrow others available 3-5 days.

Hard to tell as NW has workers refill stock for all items throughout the day (2 different Ammibo areas, one on each floor). Was there Thursday and Friday night and both the shelves and pegs seem to look the same both days.

They constantly shit on the USA...that's why we just got Smash before the rest of the world. That's why we routinely get games Europe never does...right.

And how can they put pokemon on consoles when they don't make the Pokemon games? Honestly I can't believe people still don't get that it isn't a first party franchise

 
I went to a Toys R Us today and they only had 1 Zelda and 7 or so Little Macs on the shelf... and no Diddy Kongs.

I have them all on order at bestbuy.com anyway so I really don't care, but I was going to grab a Diddy just because he seems impossible to get right now.

 
Looks like Target will be the place to go to tomorrow morning. Checking the online inventory checker for Zelda, Little Mac, and Diddy and about 80% of the stores around here are showing that they're all in stock but not available for instore pickup.

Did anyone else order Diddy Kong from Amazon when they were taking pre-orders? I ordered it back in November and it's still sitting in the order, not even preparing for shipment. Any idea what's going on with Amazon and these figs?

 
Is there an amiibo trade thread anywhere on the site?  I have a sealed Wii Fit Trainer that I would like to trade for either Marth or Villager.  Marth/Villager can even be loose (it will get opened anyway).

I was able to get a Diddy Kong from toys r us Friday but they didn't have any little mac or others except a ton of Zelda. Really just want Captain Falcon....
 
Yeah. Seems like an Amiibo trade thread could be a good idea. I'd still love to trade a Diddy or WFT for the Villager my son asked for for Christmas. Still kicking myself for not picking that up when there was shelfs full of them week 1.

Give it a couple more weeks though and I'm sure the values will align pretty closely.

Couldn't care less about value though. I bought these as gifts, the WFT is for my Wife and would only trade it to get my son what he asked for.

They are all worth $12.99 to me. So any 1:1 swap is a "fair" trade.

I would have to disagree with some of the chart because last night, I was able to preorder the entirety of Wave 3 (excluding exclusives) from TRU using the B1G1 40% off sale they were doing.
