Yep, same here. I preordered mine back on December 6th. I has been "preparing order" status since right before Christmas. They continuously place a hold on my debit card at least once a week if not more.

 
The two Pits I just ordered from Amazon this past Friday (very late at night I might add) are already in transit. Go Amazon!

i used my best buy credit card so they just placed that hold on it once and released it.

They have been pretty good so far with the exception of pit. I ordered 3 fox a couple weeks ago when everyone said he might be rare. I get two of everything and my friend needed one so i got the third with gcu to hook him up. But, they have always been great with pre-orders, idk what is happening with pit.

 
Does anyone know if there's a chance I can convert my Wave 3 preorders from in-store pickup to delivery?  Based on what happened with Wave 2, I'm concerned they'll end up getting cancelled.  They had all 6 of the launch day ones I preordered, but that was before the madness.

Mine still says "Waiting for Store Pick-up" since last week but problem is there is nothing to pick-up since they don't have any Pit amiibo's!!!!

 
Both Gamestop and Amazon have most of wave 3 available for pre-order. I'm considering buying a couple more on top of my existing pre-orders. Problem is, I'm not sure which ones will be rare and don't wanna get stuck with doubles of ones I can't make anything off with

 
I've been told my amiibos are set to arrive at my place on January 7th.  I tweeted @BestBuy and their support twitter saw it and responded to me and told me to email them details.  They said it was in the "order acknowledged" status which meant it was at the warehouse awaiting shipping.  So unless they are shipping today with fast shipping that isn't going to happen.  I do notice people tend to get shipping notifications from them around this time so who knows.

I would expect Ike to have a similar production run as Marth. But who knows if Nintendo will increase the production of future amiibos.

My Marth just arrived from PlayAsia and is in mint condition(YAY!). The packaging was really great, a small but sturdy box and lots of packing peanuts. It was my first order from them but probably won't be my last.
 
If it's any indication or verification, amazon trade-in values for the harder to find amiibos are $7.54 as opposed to the $1.xx they offer for the more common ones.  At one point, Diddy Kong was thought to have been a harder to find one, but I've seen these on shelves at several retailers now.

Negative on both. They probably lied, even if they allowed us to reorder those two with a special code they will most likely cancel them at the very last minute leaving us scrambling again. Never again from TRU, never!

This is what I don't get. There's people buying MM pre-orders on ebay for $30 a pop, don't they know that gamestop and walmart are still pre-ordering?

either way i would be very very hesitant selling or buying a amiibo pre-order off ebay anyhow. Cause with the way stores been canceling pre-orders left and right and also delaying shipments that a buyer dispute case waiting to happen.

Trying that now. The more I hear, the more it sounds like they only want to cancel in-store orders and place new ones for shipping. I keep seeing them say that the change depends on whether or not the item is still in stock online. Hoping that's not entirely the case, because I'm super done with in-store at BB. Lesson learned.

Well that's the crazy thing. I sold a lucario pre-order on ebay with the caveat that TRU may cancel on me and the buyer seemed pretty understandable about it. If I'm to assume every seller adds this caveat (dunno if its defensible), then you're literally paying 2x MSRP including the chance to not get anything. That doesn't make any sense

Ebay always sides with the buyer. If the buyer puts in a claim, they will get their money back. No way a buyer is going to stuck with paying for something and getting nothing.

i don't trust walmart. There is no way that they are going to be able to fulfill all their preorders when their orders have been open for months..

Not really sure, but I put in a backup order for wave 3s given what has happened with my wave 2 pre-orders from best buy.

True, it's just weird because at most the seller is going to lose $3 (the ebay fee) if it goes to dispute vs. a potential $8-10 gain. Guess Amiibos are crazy like that

ebay should take the fee off in that case I believe. Any type of case, return, or item not paid I have always had the fee removed.

Well item not paid is different because that's a fault on the seller. I think with if the buyer wants to cancel, they need the seller to agree in order to have the fee credited back since if not then it's a buyer/seller dispute that goes to paypal.

 
Kotaku is saying that Pit, Falcon, and Little Mac are rare. I know the Holy Trinity are obviously, but are PFL rare now too?!?!

Man these amiibos are the worst. It's such a crapshoot with ordering online. 1 out of every 3 arrives damaged, these retailers seriously don't know how to pack. Ironically gamestop and walmart have been pretty good with best, amazon, and toysrus being horrible (TRU IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!). With that being said, I am really concerned about my Lucario pre-order now since it's a gamble whether or not TRU is gonna blow it again with the packing. 

 
Picked gamestick and dock at gamestop. Stopped at bestbuy and ask team member looking up for pit, only 1 pit in stock around all bestbuy 150+ miles. After searching for 10 minutes no go, manager told for pre order only. My hope is dead and i ready to take off. Miracles happens! The team member come out from the back room with pit on his hand. I great fully thanks to team member very much, I end up get pit and last copy injustice (wii u). My amiibo waves 1 & 2 now is completed. May picking up extra pit for play ;)

I very extremely thanks to the team member that helps me out :)

The date is 12 16 14 for that post as for more exclusives I'm fairly sure that's been confirmed awhile back we just don't know who will be the next exclusives but I'll bet Rob Mewtwo or Greninja (Toysrus will most likely try to Greninja exclusive) Gannondorf and ethier Lucina or Robin to be the next ones.

I'm also pretty sure that specific topics talking about meta knight not wave 4.

gamestop sent my captain falcon, little mac, and diddy kong amiibos beutifuly shipped. I am awaiting a pitt from TRU and amazon. So we will see how these come.
