Yeah, couple that with all the Bulls turnovers and it was a strange night for sure. Shame that both teams had key guys out too.

Back on topic: does anybody have any info on Meta-Knight? Still no update on my ship to store preorder.

Hunting on Sunday just got less stressful!
If I'm able to snag 1 or 2 I'll be sure to help out a fellow CAG in need.
I'd pass all together but want to be sure I get one that's undamaged.
 
My Rosalina, Bowser, Toon Link and Sheik shipped last night from Target. Yay.

I'll still be going out on Sunday as a bunch of my friends doing full sets didn't get a preorder in. I am thinking about stopping on the way home from work one day this week to Target to ask the store manager to think about putting an item limit on Sunday.

It's a rib but it does seem a little "out there" especially when you see DIY vids with people not showing themselves to stay anonymous. I guess Power Rangers and furry animal costumes doing instructional how to videos to open Amiibos seems quite normal to you.

This is an entire thread devoted to little plastic figurines that people are going nuts for while trying to find packaging that isn't dinged, dented, crushed, or in some cases, has bilingual/foreign packaging. That isn't "normal" either.

If the guy wants to dress up in a tiger costume and show people how to open the packaging without damaging the backing card, let him. It's no more or no less "normal" than what we're discussing here.

So .... what was the final verdict from Nintendo World yesterday ?

How long did the figures last ? What time did they close ? How many people were left waiting outside ? Any other surprises ?

 
There's probably a reddit thread about that. I'm going to check at open but considering how the line moved last night either the employees kept the store open for an additional 4 hours or half the people didn't get amiibos and are gonna try today

Gah man, dont you realize this a collectible video game figures thread, obviously we all open our Amiibos to keep pristine backings all while in giant animal costumes. Its perfectly normal in this thread.

Haven't look at Reddit today, I know there was a long thread yesterday which I scanned, I know they sold out of Rosalina, Shulk and Sheik, no idea on anything else.

Same boat. I just want one undamaged for my collection (I keep them sealed) and I have no experience with Target's shipping but this does make things far less stressful!

Target is usually pretty good with packing. I have never ordered any amiibos but other things I have gotten from them have been packaged great with lots of air cushions.

 
Seems like Rosalina selling out on Sunday isn't going to be from resellers, it's going to be from people buying extras for "the paint job" and "undamaged packaging".

Not saying this is true for all but some of you guys should just go ahead and admit that you're buying extras because of the rarity or value.

My Amazon order for Bowser I put in very late b/c I figured he would be common, it still doesnt show a date. I picked up a Bowser last night at GS and gonna cancel my Amazon order.

The most you'll get out of people is that they're keeping a few for trading man. Power to them though, wish there was a Target in NYC

 
I actually cancelled my order for Bowser at Amazon and bought him at Gamestop. If Amazon can't even confirm a shipping date then I'm not taking the chance. And I didn't even have a March date associated yet as of yesterday.

 
I heard the same words from few of the Target and TRU employees at my local area .. they said so far the Sheik is the one hard to find recently and the stock from there store isn't that much but it sold out very quickly.   The store won't get any new stock on Sheik even @ 2/1 coming up if those prior sheik stock sold out.

 
Took a few minutes this morning morning calling the Big 3 South Jersey TRU locations (Deptford, Cherry Hill, and Mays Landing) to see what the deal was with Lucario. Mays said they will have them Friday for pre-sells assuming their truck gets in on time. Cherry Hill said they may have new ones on Friday but only for presells. The Deptford one seemed fairly confused, but said they think they are only for pre-sells.

Each store seemed to have a different day they hold pre-orders for as well. Mays Landing said a week, Cherry Hill said four days, and Deptford said a week. I just want to get one of these damn Lucarios!

i think amazon oversold sheik because she was up for the longest of wave 3 and she turned out to be kind of rare. I think the rest should be fine though.
