OK, so in all my time playing the original GC game and Wild World I don't think I ever once bought turnips. When is the very limited time for this? I don't ever tend to play before late evening so I guess that is why. How late does it go? I could try to get it done tomorrow as I have some cash and would like to get more ;).

I played WW for about 2 years, and I've only bought them like 3 times.. And get this- last night was the first time I ever saw KK. *gasps!*

I've got some questions for people:
1) How big are the Lobster and Neon Tetra shadows? Any catching advice?

2) Can bare fruit trees house spiders/bag worms? Advice? I looked forever. :cry:

3) Does the table trick still work with the turnips?

Also- 1 observation. I noticed the otherday that i could fish the bottom of the waterfall from the top of it. So if you see something down there, you don't have to go running for it.

1.) Lobsters are about as big as sea bass! I think. Neon Tetras are quite small. So, make sure to catch the small ones! In the ocean, right?

2.) Don't know!

3.) I do not think it does.

Also, maybe I could come to your town and buy some turnips?
 
I haven't added you yet- but i'll do that now. My gates are open. i'll probably have stepped away though. feel free to take whatever you find laying around or in the store. I've got Apples, Peaches, Cherries, and lots of Coconuts.
 
Turnips were selling for 92 in my town. I don't feel like buying at that price and I don't feel like going to another town just to buy turnips on a cold Sunday morning.

I missed K.K. Slider last night as well as Nook's Sale :( Oh well, there will be another time for K.K. Slider in my town.

Also, how long until Nook's Cranny upgrades once? Seriously. It's taking forever. Oh, and I also got a shopping card. I don't know what that does yet.
 
Our hide and go seek tag foursome was so awesome last night. We played for hours. I wanna do that again sometime. Best part of the night was when we made bunkers by digging holes. More details later, I'm tired now.
 
Turnips went for 98.. bought over 100k worth.. hoping to get 3.5x my investment during the week. Be able to pay for my house and move on to the 4th upgrade! Quick question.. what do you all do with the turnips? Last week i just buried them.. Did the same thing this week.. is their an easier way to store them?
 
Maybe I looked at the price wrong. Turnips are selling for 92 bells. I poured 193,000 bells into it (2100 turnips :D). So I'm hoping to hit it big this week and get finally get that fountain. Then I'll start paying my mortgage again. :cool:
 
How long does it take a money tree to grow?! I think it's been just about a week.. and it's been a full grown tree for a few days now.. :wall:
 
That's... really strange.
Why would I put 120K to only get 90K back?

I remember not having ANY problems in the GCN version and WW.
 
My gates are open now. I have another batch of peaches at the front if anyone wants some for themselves. Again, You can plant some of your own fruit in my town because of my charm for the month (Today is the last day!) or you can always mooch. Doesn't matter to me.

Oh yeah, And I have several tree stumps for Violin beetles if anyone needs one.

You can fish and catch bugs all day here, but DO NOT dig up my tree stumps. Somebody did that yesterday and I do not appreciate that, nuccas.

I want to do that, but I won't have any room to put the turnips in.. I'm still thinking about it. I have about 280k+ in my account. Hmm, decisions, decisions.
 
For those using the guide- I noticed an error this morning. Apparently the guide doesn't recognize any times that you can catch the Ray. I caught one this morning just after 7.

I wasn't trying to catch one because it wasn't on the November chart, but I lucked out. Keep your eyes peeled.

the turnip table trick doesn't work! My turnips sold for low prices all week so I kept them on a table. I turned AC on 1 to find them spoiled on the table. :(
 
It's snowing in my town! Opening my gates if anyone wants to come over. I have a lot of oranges, and some cherries, peaches, and apples. Looking for any other fruits if anyone has others
 
I'm leaving my town open while I'm gone. Please be nice, and don't stomp the flowers. Plenty of cherries for everyone, and stumps if you need a violin beetle.

They expire after a week, so, Saturday is the last day to sell them. I don't think it matters where you keep them, though.

Ah, sorry about the tuna! Forgot about the save feature during parties, will have to remember to save often. Not sure if there's a way to send/trade fish, but if there is, let me know and I'll save a tuna if I get an extra.

There used to be a trick in the other games where you could keep them on a table and they wouldn't spoil. Doesn't work now though. :censored:

Yeah still have to catch Neon tetra and Knifejaw myself, I don't know if I need to catch any others. I don't care about bugs right now. Hey if you don't complete the fish list this year+ next then you still have stuff to do and it won't be boring.

I couldn't catch a Neon Tetra before, but I caught a few.

Sadly they are all sold and/or donated. :(
 
I find it harder to catch Barred Knifejaw or Red Snapper fish. I remember i used to scoop those up in the GC version to get loads of cash. Now its rare for me to catch them.
