I really like Ed Norton, so I was hoping Pride and Glory would be good, but it looks absolutely terrible. And the reviews have confirmed that.
My thoughts exactly. Ed Norton is great, but damn, that movie just looks like utter trash.
I keeps it real.
And that is why I probably enjoyed chainsawing you more than I should have.

Stupid 5 on 2 bullshit. ;)
One day we should have all the lurkers stand up and be counted. I wonder just how many there are.
I'm one. Who else will stand with me?
 I don't have a sister

Unless you thought my brother was a female!
Then who did I......

:whistle2:s:whistle2:#:cry::shock::whee::puke:
What part of the trailer was sweet? The lameass, shoehorned rap song?
I fucking hate that.

If I'm going to watch a cop/crime/mob drama, I want it to have some sort of semblance of classiness. The Departed, Goodfellas, etc., these didn't feel the need to present themselves as totally "street."

See the Righteous Kill trailer where they hip-hop'ed Sympathy For The Devil for further proof.

I have to say, I did like the scene where the bad guy is stoned/drunk, calls over his ugly-ass ghetto girl from the kitchen to bring him a potato, rips/tears his girl's drawers off nonchalant, bones her a little, puts said potato on his handgun and murders some other dude in the same room with him. Good shit.

That one movie with Sean William Scott and $$$-le from Superbad looks pretty funny. That little black kid looks like he is the one who makes it money, though.
i think you count as a lurker now, canadian.
No way! I've been an OTTer since like '05.

I think you lost your OTTizenship when you started posting in the OTT like every 7 weeks. :\

This was in Righteous Kill?

Did you see a trailer for Doubt at W.? Judging from the trailer, it should be excellent. There looks to be quite a few good historical dramas coming out this Winter.

That was Pride and Glory.

Doubt was the Meryl Streep/Hoffman movie? That looked like it could be alright. I find the big push for....The International(?) annoying. I like Clive Owen but I hate these corporate boogeymen pictures. :bomb:

He's the kid from Tracy Morgan's now defunct sticom, and he was a trip on that, so Role Models should be funny.

That's the one. From what I understand, the play is excellent, so I have high hopes for the movie. It looks like they're going in the right direction with it. I don't recall anything about The International. Frost/Nixon looks promising, and the little that I know about Milk makes me interested.

Honestly, though, after reading about I Heard You Paint Houses, that is close to the top of my "most anticipated" list.
Salim is not peaceful. Salim is fighting a Jihayd.
Actually, I don't know if there is a more accurate word to define Salim.

I was campaigning for a better Canada!

Lifetime membership and all that. It's not like Subby would lose his if he returned.
So I'm flipping through channels and Cartoon Network is showing some movie called Batman vs Dracula

ok...
It's actually really good.
Huh, The International looks pretty good, I think. Cliched, definitely, but it definitely looks entertaining.
I can't take movies like that seriously. Same for Michael Clayton, which on paper was a pretty good movie.
"If it feels like a slice of ham, don't wipe your ass with it!"
I thought that was what God put ham on the planet for... wiping asses!
I can't take movies like that seriously. Same for Michael Clayton, which on paper was a pretty good movie.
I can't remember Michael Clayton. I watched it, but it left so little impact on me. Like, I can recall maybe two shots from it. It just seemed pointless when it was over.

I feel like I should watch it again. I was definitely tired when I saw it the first time, but usually, if a movie is good, that doesn't really matter.

Oh, dcfox, I was aware of JCVD before.

The thing is, I don't think I've ever seen anything with him, so the whole thing would probably be lost on me.

stupid question:

when picking up a preorder at BB, do you bring in the empty case, or the receipt that shows you put the $5 down... i've only ever preordered at GS/EB, unless it was online...
He is coming. Mark my words. He is coming.
he's currently entertaining _____'s mom. he'll be here when he's finished.
Wow, i ddin't know Spooge's wife left him. That sucks.
Was she the one who started a relationship with another dude on WOW behind Spooge's back?
But does dcfox have an understudy... :whistle2:k

Shit, LP already has that position...
What? What did I miss now?
Was she the one who started a relationship with another dude on WOW behind Spooge's back?
I believe so. Makes me think he's better off without her.
