Marvel Ultimate Alliance Pics are up. There's 3 different sets and IMO they all suck. They just use head cutouts from their advertisements and in-game loading screens.

The Shrek demo is really short. You play as Shrek and Puss, and the game plays a LOT like the old Xena: Warrior Princess game for PS1. 3D platformer, nothing special.
 
hmm one odd thing: I usually on top of all the content online, but found a theme/pic section named "EA Cookie Jar"...? I saw some of the content before but never knew it had a category to itself... plus I want to see the themes (mainly to see what the guides look like) in there (like the battle and wood theme). Any links to them would be nice since DThemes and Xbox.com don't have it at all oddly.
 
It looks like, for some odd reason, Microsoft decided to classify some of its "Xbox 360 Community" themes into the EA Cookie Jar section. I'm not sure if this was a mistake, or if maybe EA has been behind those themes from the beginning.

I smell a conspiracy.

Someone on Major Nelson's blog figured out the math, and at 500 points for 3 songs, it'll cost approximately 8000 MS points ($100 US) for all 47 of the Guitar Hero 1 songs (which these packs are from).

That's fucking insane.

I'll wait until they drop the price on the Songs...they MIGHT eventually do that. No way anyone should pay 500 points for rehashed songs.

Wow. I don't play Guitar Hero but I would never pay 500 points for a song. That shit is way expensive.

They must have called Bethesda and asked them how much to price these at :) I think 200 point would have been enough.
 
Holy shit, those GH song packs are a horrible rape up the a * hole. I was so jazzed up until this point. If they had done "iTunes"-style pricing at 80-100pts a song, I would've bought into this, but $6 for 3 songs is just fuck ing highway robbery. fuck these guys unless the price goes down...
 
Honesty, why not just 250 per pack, that way it factors into a bit over $50 for all the songs. It would be like selling people GH1 for $50 all over again, only RO would 100% of the profit.

Now this BS actually makes me want to skip out on GH2 altogether.

GH II Song packs = 3 songs @ 500pts = $6.25 ($2.08 per song)

Complete GH1 library at this pricing: $2.08 x 47 songs = $97.76 :hot:
