I love how every time one of the immigrant rights groups reps come on tv, they immediately start with the 'immigrants do the jobs that normal Americans don't want'.

I have a question for them though, before all of these immigrants came here illegally to pick crops and so on, who did these jobs? Poor folks who were just happy to have a damn job.

Stop the welfare system. Put all of those feeding off the government teet out in the fields picking our crops and doing all of these 'jobs no one wants'. Problem solved.

Know what's even better than picking fruit or building houses in blistering heat? Doing it for 2 bucks an hour, no benefits, and little to no recourse if you get hurt.

You know what's even better than that? Being hit by an illegal immigrant driving a car with no insurance or registration. My one relative had the (dis)pleasure of that experience. The guy was going about 50 in a 25 and pushed the big Escalade they were taking home from the auction into the one nearby ditch. If they tried going after the guy somehow to pay for any damages he'd just run back to Mexico is what the police told my relative.

While many of them do bust their asses and work their balls off(and I commend them for that)and they want the 'American dream'(even if it means being here illegally), there are an equal number who are here and feel as if they should do as they please, even if it means breaking many of our laws.

ALL of them broke the law coming here, all should be deported. Either that or if they truly wish to be here(and not just to work to send money back and not spend it here to help our economy), go through the LEGAL process to become a citizen, learn the language, obey our laws and pay taxes. Simple as that.

Otherwise, get the fuck out.
 
I forgot. Whenever illegals come into our country, they don't benefit our economy at all. They suddenly develop the ability to live without food, their cars magically run without gas, clothes materialize out of the air, and they snap their fingers to brew their delicious beers from nothingness itself.

As for the clothes, most of the ones I've seen look like they live in the same outfit all week.

As for talking to them, I've tried. I worked a bunch of warehouse jobs about 10 years back and after 10 minutes of going 'what' I gave up. Too deep of an accent+loose grasp of the Engrish language=unable to understand half of what they're saying.

This is only sorta related, but...

My wife kept her green card on her at all times in her wallet. She did so because we thought that was the law (it is). She lost it 3 weeks ago in Vegas. We now have to pay $320 for the Federal Government to press a print button to get another one.

This AZ law thing all went down right after she lost it. After seeing how many people throw a massive fit about this law being enforced, and how much it has cost me to try and abide the law - I can gurantee that from now on my wife will NOT be carrying her green card with her at all times.

Besides, if anyone asks to see proof she's here legally, it's apparently discrimination, since she has an accent.

You forgot to mention that they send hundreds of millions home to Mexico which helps fuel their economy and banks.

I have lived in NYC and in Atlanta. I have seen some but not all Mexicans have 3-4 families living in a small 2 bedroom apartment in NYC. I have seen 10 plus living in houses. I am pretty sure that Atlanta made housing laws that only 2 last names/family can live in 1 house. I am not going to even mention how this devalues housing/buildings in the neighborhoods.

I have zero problems with someone trying to better their lives and work hard to make a living. I do have problems when someone is here illegally, benefits from social services that some Americans cannot get and sends money back to Mexico to fuel their economy while ours tanks.

I really don't see any issue in making illegals easier to be legal. As long as they pay the income taxes, and SS/medicare, I don't care if they send 1000s of dollars across the border. They'll do it anyways even if everything is rosy green with a green card.

Business need to be bitchslapped for illegal workers instead of raiding, deporting, and looking the other way. I'm thinking targeting Businesses should be the focus, because what else are illegals here for? Our Apple Pie? The love of baseball? Our women?

Simply targeting them on the streets is too big to enforce.

We can help if ILLEGAL immigrants do it though...I dont hear anyone making a fuss about legal immigrants doing it, and if we would just secure the god damn border we wouldnt have to deal with it.

Heres a shocking statement, if we secured our border and showed that it was effectively secured (both canada and mexico) I would support amnesty for all the illegal immigrants that are already here. The problem is that if we give the existing illegals amnesty (or even start talking about it) the border will be flooded with more and more trying to get grandfathered in, so amnesty wouldnt do anything until we secure the border.

Unfortunately I wasn't there personally, but I was told that when the other driver was asked for registration and insurance he said he had none and that he wasn't a legal citizen. He supposedly admitted it right to the cop.

I'm an American all the way. Born here and raised in a school system that was largely caucasian up until maybe the end of high school. Both parents were born here of parents who were born here and so on. I have no clue as to when my families families immigrated here wayyyyy back in the day.

Find the one in a million who does not use the phrase "go" as in
