ABC Studios produces it and makes $1M for every episode that's sold into syndication. ABC is actually trying to renew it for one more season. Zach Braff would only be on the show part-time.
Also, some top execs at ABC network are known to have always loved the show and were pissed at how NBC yanked it around year after year. The past few years NBC would show doubt of renewing the show and ABC would publicly say they'd pick it up if NBC cancelled it (like what's happening with Old Adventures of New Christine) and NBC would change it's mind until last year. Last year ABC absolutely wanted to pick it up in order to air a final season with a proper finale, but the writer's strike killed the possibility of a proper ending so Braff agreed to come back another year. If ABC renews it, they hope it'll be for more than one year (it would be evaluated yearly as with most shows), but it would center mostly (maybe completely?) around the interns who were introduced this year and maybe some of the other previous characters if they hung around. Dr Cox, Turk and the Janitor (Tommy) are in new pilots and Elliott is starring in a cable mini-series which may evolve into a fulltime series if it does well, but speculation is they would all still at least make appearances on Scrubs, especially if you consider odds are against all four shows being picked up, plus two of the pilots are ABC produced and they said they would setup schedules for the actors to do both. Also, Braff would like to reappear to some degree. It would be different, but maybe not so bad especially if the Todd/Ted/Carla and other secondary characters were still around and the old characters are semi-regular. I thought the episode was a great sendoff for JD (especially when the creator of the show is the last to say goodbye to JD), but it was a little bit of a letdown as a series finale. Yeah, I'm a big fan.
Is the track pack worth $10? I have Rock Band 2.
Depends how big of a AC/DC fan you are, especially their live stuff. I like them, but never as much as everyone else for some reason. It's 18 songs you can import into RB1/2 for $10 which monetarily is a great deal, plus it used to be that the songs were only available on disc and couldn't be downloaded. Also, if you love achievements and you can rock expert, it's 250 easy achievement points. BTW, they had 7 360 copies when I stopped by again yesterday.
