Yeah, I was really surprised by Journey.
Most relaxing game in the world, and so beautiful.
Probably not everyone's cup of tea but by mind was blown.
but you never know, especially with slickdeals and fatwallet, and all. All the cag deals always end up on there somehow
My area isnt really bad about not getting these types of deals, sure if I wait a week usually everything is gone but not on day one.
lol I just saw your signature, is Journey that good?
I absolutely fucking loved it! I wasnt sure if I was going to after watching some gameplay videos, I couldnt stop playing it once I started. It was that good! Like warboss said though, its not everyones cup of tea

Still waiting on my magazine as well and my welcome package. B2g1f coupons are pretty much pointless right now but hopefully they good for awhile with the big fall releases coming. I joined day 1 of the 100% trade bonus.

Hopefully the KoA game is still around, I never have found a $5 DA2 my magazine showed up late.

Really? I kind of like games that aren't other people's cup of tea. Maybe an Assam Behora.

I believe the B2G1F (New) coupon is only for games up to $39.99, just so you're aware. I know mine was and thats why I didn't use it.
I didnt like the KoA demo. Im not sure Id pick it up, even at $10
The demo did the game no justice at all. KoA was a great deal when I got it for $47 at launch, and is a steal for $10.

Question, I read somewhere on this forum about a complaint for an RPG that only allows one saved file but can't remember which game it was. Is it KoA or another game? It's been bugging me that I can't remember

I think it's dragon's dogma

You're correct, it's DD

Yes, you are describing. Dragons Dogma. It's due to the pawn system.
i'm actually pleasantly suprised by enslaved. its been a breath of fresh air, in regards to a platforming game, and i think i paid 9.99 and felt that was a fair price. just wanted to support your decision!
The game itself was good, but the ending was just :whistle2:s. I guess they were setting up for sequel at some point, but it sold piss poor so I doubt it'll get that sequel.
Eh. That's $10, right? If it was like $2.50 I'd probably buy it, but I'm too cheap to pay that much for DLC shit.
lol u shoulda came up on some langers juice upc's from the dollar store for psn cards. check the thread.

I checked the dollar store and they had none. The only ones that Wally World had were $3-4 a bottle, so I woulda been paying for the PSN card and then some.

haha nvm then. could always watch a walkthrough on youtube :)

How do coupons work with the digital magazines?

I don't think IATCG would miss these kind of threads and deals...ever...

they email them to u and u print em out i believe. i just switched to digital so i havent received them yet. that under 39.99 b2g1 coupon worked out for me last week when brave was on sale. its a good coupon when new releases go on sale for 39.99 or less.

How do you switch to digital? Also, does anyone know if digital has the same waiting/delay period as print for new subs (I signed up last month)?

The game did not sell bad.

https://twitter.com/gehrig38/status/205468697639391232
"Reckoning, 38 Studios first game, has outperformed EA's projections by selling 1.2mm copies in its first 90 days"

The state of Rhode Island expected it to sell much more, 3 million +, completely unrealistic for a brand new IP from a brand new developer. KoA actually did pretty good, but the studio had sunk a large amount of money into developing an MMO in the same universe and it wasn't anywhere near release. That was expected, but RI freaked out and shit all over them because the huge loan they gave them wasn't being payed back fast enough.

Actually I was talking about Enslaved.

Considering it need 3 million or so to be profitable, you could say it sold poorly. That's splittin' hairs though.

I might pass on KOA with the Upgrade and Save coming back in a week. Rather have BR's I'm going to keep instead of more backlog.

this thread makes my brain hurt from sympathy pain. It's only $15 a year, seriously, stop complaining and just sign up. If you can't afford that, what are you doing buying games in the first place?

Regardless, I'm excited to get my hands on Kampgrounds of America: Reckoning for $10. Only wish the studio would have survived to make the MMO. Imagine an MMO about camping...the insanity! I'd probably go for the "dirty hippie" character class.

Did anyone get their magazine yet? I'm curious if the coupon will still scan before the 7/15 date mentioned. I seem to recall that previous coupons still worked even before the valid date...

That is affirmative.

If anyone were to try it earlier than the coupon states, could you share your results with us here?

It did work earlier than the date on the coupon before but I believe the month after, someone tried it and it no longer worked and don't think it has worked ever since.

Maybe I'm just blindly overlooking it, but how exactly is this done? Maybe I'm not going to the right website or something....

I see. Didn't know about that.

I used my coupons early during the ME2 and Rage month.
Sorry if this question has already been asked, If I pick up KOA:R today can i price adjust/match with the coupon once I get my magazine?
Yes. Just keep it sealed to be safe, and bring it back with your original receipt for a return/rebuy with your coupon.

You need to go to Customer service at www.atgamermagazine.com, it will then ask you to log in using your e-mail and password. I checked yesterday and according to them I am not even registered, even though I've already had the @Gamer subscription and just re-newed it with Unlocked last month. I know it's 4-6 weeks to get the first issue, but it's been 4 weeks already since I re-subbed so I would at least think they would have me on record, at least from last year subscription or something.

this is ridiculous. i signed up for GCU and the magazine last *november * and haven't gotten a single issue. I call BB customer service who tell me to call @gamer, and they tell me to call BB again because apparently they never received my information. now when i call BB CS they hang up on me. absolutely absurd.

I just spoke to @Gamer as well since I received my last issue in May and renewed my Unlocked last month, yet wasn't able to log into the website. They said they couldn't find any record of my account having been renewed, and the lady said that Best Buy can take up to three months to forward them the renewal subscription information. I asked why it takes so long since on the Best Buy website it states that after signing up for the annual subscription you will receive the first issue in the mail in 4-6 weeks. She said that is what it usually takes when you sign up directly through them, but if you sign up through Best Buy they don't immediately send out your information but instead wait until they have a bunch of subscriptions piled up and then forward them the new account subscriptions. I guess I won't be getting this issue afterall, hopefully my store manager or gaming supervisor can help me out.

Oooo it says mine shipped on July 1st! For the digital edition, can you get it on the ipad without switching like other magazines?

No offense but you really should have done something about this by now. I mean really, its July now.

Well since I signed up last month, I'm doubting that I get this magazine in the mail, which is fine since I am not that impressed with these coupons.

KOA for $10 is pretty nice, but I'd pass on everything else.

Think I'll probably bite the bullet and get Unlocked. I assumed they wouldn't be having coupons for stuff I was interested in every month, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Will be picking up KoA: R with my subscription.
I wonder why they'd restrict the used game coupon to only games between $9.99-19.99. Why not do it as $9.99 and above?
wanna get rid of cheaper inventory.

I have a question, I signed up for the magazine unlocked sub (print) June 10th, 2012, now it's almost a full month and I don't expect to get the newest issue so fast. But when I signed up I was already a Reward Zone member, is there something else I need to input online, like the Registration ID or something? The reward zone says I'am unlocked now but not sure since everyone is having magazine issues.

yeah that is the same crap they told me when i first signed up, and the person spoke to me in a condescending tone.
