As a My Best Buy member, get $10 in reward certificates per game title you pre-order and purchase.
Eligible titles are available for :xb1: :ps4: :360: :ps3: :pc:.
 
What do I have to do to qualify for this offer?
If you are an eligible My Best Buy member, pre-order your copy of any of the qualifying titles in either the standard version or special edition for PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 or PC prior to their release date. Then you must purchase and pick up your pre-order within 7 days of street date. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup. When you meet these requirements, you will receive 500 bonus points credited to your account within 15 days of purchase or game shipment.
 
Where can I pre-order and purchase the qualifying games to qualify for this offer?
You may pre-order and purchase any of the qualifying games in Best Buy stores or online at BestBuy.com. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup.
 
Can I pre-order and purchase multiple copies of an eligible game and get multiple rewards?
No. There is a limit of one (1) award per My Best Buy member per game title.

Q: Can the 20% off Unlocked benefit be combined with a price match?
A: At the time of purchase, you would receive either the price match or 20% off. You would not be able to receive 20% off of a matched price. If Best Buy's price is lowered during the return/exchange period, the price will be matched to the lower price (upon request). My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked Members should receive the new price along with the 20% discount. This price match covers one price match per identical item per customer.

When your Best Buy game comes in, just return your late copy back to the store you just bought it from. That way you get to play the game for the time being and still get to keep the BB deal.

I almost always preorder for in-store pickup.

If your order was supposed to ship via expedited shipping but somehow got downgraded to standard without your knowledge, I would think you have a legitimate complaint to Best Buy CS that your shipping speed was not as expected

My order was supposed to be expedited which is what really annoys me. I car pool to work and my car can't get fixed until this weekend so I've been unable to hit up a Best Buy this week. The car pool thing alone is sometimes an issue so I figured screw it, I'll just order online. Didn't realize that Best Buy doesn't ship pre-orders until end of business day on Monday.

they shipped mine last Thursday (free shipping not elite plus) and I got it release day. Wonder why they dont do that for everyone ?

Mine also shipped at the end of the business day on Monday. Maybe it has to do with when you put in the pre-order, although I honestly can't remember a single time I've received my game from Best Buy on release day regardless of how many months in advance I've pre-ordered the game.

That's why you don't mess with shipping from best buy (at least for pre orders...). Why didn't you just do in store pickup... I know there are PLENTY of best buys in the Cleveland burbs.

That's why I posted on their unboxed forum that this is something they need to fix. They have these sitting in warehouses for at least a week prior to release. No reason they aren't shipping them sooner. Ship standard orders on Thursday, ship expedited orders on Friday. Done.

 
Are you guys pre-ordering online at the last minute? I do it like a few weeks or month out and I'm 4 out of 4 bb.com pre-orders this year arriving on monday before tuesday release. I am ordering everything through online with free delivery from now on until I get burned. I live in northern KY and everything usually comes from Ohio.

I have no idea there thought process on it I pre ordered a week before it shipped.

Its a half hour drive for me, and my main issue is it was supposed to ship Expedited (like Amazon Prime) and didn't.
 
To those wondering why your orders didn't ship next day here is the reason from best buy forum from similar questions in the past:
Hopefully I can add some clarification here. Per the definition of Expedited shipping on BestBuy.com, the customer should receive their order within three business days; one business day for processing and two business days for transit.

Depending on where the item(s) is coming from, and where it is being shipped to, all levels of shipping can be used with the carrier. For example if we can get the product to a customer within three business days using UPS ground service the order will ship via UPS ground. If instead we need to use some level of air service to get it to them within this three day time-frame we would then choose that level of shipping via UPS.

Yeah I definitely agree, there is no reason why they can't do that if they are already doing that for certain people.

I usually pre-order weeks/months ahead as well. I don't think it should have an impact on when an order ships, but I like to use giftcards for long standing pre-orders to avoid the constant revolving authorization charge on my credit card.

True but also keep in mind once the item is handed to shipper then the shipper is to blame for delays especially if it ups cause only a few months ago there was a fiasco with ups and amazon due to ups shipping and a lot people delays seem to be related to ups weather which is out best buy hand

The problem with that is UPS doesn't move along ground with the same urgency as 2 day, causing delays ALL THE TIME. UPS knows they have a 5 day window with ground. So considering ground the same as expedited because its scheduled to get there in 3 days is bullshit.

My understanding is that when we receive shipping confirmation that only means that the label has been created and is ready to be picked up, not that it has already been picked up by a carrier. It sucks when my item doesn't ship until the end of the business day of when the game is released, that's why I try to do in-store pickup as much as possible. Sadly it isn't always possible with the traveling I do, and as of right now my Titanfall still hasn't arrived.
 
Yes, lets be clear here. I'm not saying it is Best Buy's fault that my shipment was delayed another day, that's on UPS ultimately, though without it being shipped expedited as it should have been it also means it wasn't a priority for UPS to expedite it after that delay. 

My point is that Best Buy should really have a set system for this. Game comes out on Tuesday? Ship on Thursday. If customers getting the item before street date is that much of a concern then schedule Tuesday delivery with UPS. My point is that their current system, which is that some get shipped Thursday, some Friday, some don't ship till Monday evening is a mess and makes for an unreliable experience. 

I work for a company that ships a lot of stuff, when I process an order with a specified ship date (i.e. the customer wants it on a certain day), I tell my warehouse to ship it a few days before that so that the customer is happy. It's just what we do. 

 
Titanfall still not pending for me. Just says I have 0 pending points for the purchase when it should say 500. Ugh, I have a feeling I'll be calling/e-mailing their awful customer service in 10 days.

Yeah not pending for me either. The purchase still hasn't even shown up on mybestbuy yet for me.

 
Is this your guys' first time picking up a title on this list? Some times it'll take a couple days for it to show pending, other times it will take the full 15 days. No reason to even worry about it until after 15 days.

No I've done this promo many times and never had a problem until now. Though I did pre-order titanfall the first day it showed up as part of this promo.

 
Looks like we're gonna have to call in on the Titanfall order guys...

Of the 9 people I know including myself that have pre-ordered at BB, none of us have the bonus points pending.

They won't try to fix it until at least the 26th of this month since they have it in the terms up to 15 days for points to post even the best buy forum mods won't look into it until the 15 days at least past since technically they have up to 15 days

it is listed on the actual promo page but the thing isn't that it not listed in the promo on the item product page but it look like the xbox one version of the game been completely removed from best buy website all together

Did some more digging into Watch Dogs on Xbox One. I'm not sure why it doesn't come up in this link, but it can be found here. Also, there is a thread by a Best Buy mod on the Unboxed forums that definitely states the $10 cert applies to the Xbox One version.

 
FYI, I just checked mine and my points actually fall under my Titanfall Purchase as "Victory Can Be Preordered Bonus" and is not a separate entry.

Me too man. Just checked it now and it USED to be added to the rest of my points, now its not even added. But I still have the 500 under my order.
 
I pre-ordered inFamous: SS yesterday. The price came to $63 and I asked why isn't it $47 (+tax). He said they give you back the money when you pick it up. Haven't gone yet to pick it up today but is this true. If it isn't, I'm just going to return and rebuy to get the 20% off w/ GCU.
