To clear up any confusion, front row games are the games that are displayed at the checkout counters in large blue boxes. All the games have big white stickers with their prices on them. They range in price from 4.99-14.99. These are NOT normal stocked items, nor are they the yellow stickered items found in the normal game section. Some stores are now moving these games into their normal stock sections, but they will still have the white stickers on them. If they do not have a white sticker, they are NOT a front row game.

********
Etymology of the phrase "Front Row" *******************
********************************************************

The term front row game stems from the name on a receipt for these items. They will all show up with the generic title Front Row instead of their actual names. The term does not specifically have to do with the fact that these games are found in the front row of a store, although that was where they originally were found. If you find a game without a sticker in the front row of a store, IT IS NOT A FRONT ROW GAME. It is only a Front Row game if it has a white sticker with a price tag along with a white upc sticker covering the original sticker.

**********************************************************

**PLEASE READ THIS FIRST ***
Ratchet & Clank for 9.99 is a Frontrow Game ONLY. We all know it's 40 on the website. All frontrow games are NOT normal stock games and will not show up online. These prices are good IN STORE only.
Please tell me you're joking. I've lost my ability to tell in this thread anymore.
I guess the title being Front Row Games wasn't enough for some people :p
Sorry; not joking. They're still not listed in the OP (*none* of those PSP games are listed in the op), and there isn't any listing in the OP for $14.99 front lane games at BB. Go ahead and check...I'll wait. They're not there.

I'm almost sure that I've read this thread front-to-back (though it's been a while), and never saw anything about the specific games in question being front lane games.

front lane games are not priced by BB. they get sticker priced by the vendor or distributor who replenishes those stocks.
if those vendors decided to price them $5, then they'll be $5. if $10, then $10. if $15, then it's $15.
i've seen games that are priced on two different price stickers, either $5 or $10.
so it is not surprising if we see $15 front lane games.

Except for every single DS game on the list.

::sigh::

That's not what was being referred to *at all*. Use thy brain and read the last page of the thread. The games in question, which was in PLAIN ENGLISH in my post, were for the PSP. Games like Killzone and Syphon Filter, for example.
Got Pursuit Force and LOTR: Tactics for just $ 5.00 each after the coupon. :applause:
If you can grab another Pursuit Force for $5.00, please let me know ;)

With a price of 19.99, these don't sound like front row games to me. Were these white stickered or are you just posting these because they're cheap? If it's the latter, they don't belong in this thread.

It was with a big white label with the other front row games. I walked to the regular Wii games and it was 39.99 there.

I've officially lost faith in humanity, or atleast humanity's ability to read.

I'm not even sure what your issue is. Is it that the OP doesn't say that games can be 14.99? Is it that the OP doesn't say that these are front row games? How can you not know that Best buy has been having front row games for the last 7 months if you've been following this thread from the beginning?

I saw many copies of Condemned for Xbox 360 today at Best Buy for $19.99 each, but I still felt it was a bit too much. Are there any coupons out there for 360 games?

i got lucky and found a copy at cc during the 33% off last week. also stacked with gamers card and picked up the game for 10.50+ taxes

Should of got it last week for $11.36 at CC. It rings up $16.96 now though since the 33% ended.

My CC didn't have any copies.

Purchased NBA 07 (PSP) for $10. ($15 w/o coupon)

Also saw Twisted Metal (PSP) and Splinter Cell (PSP) for $15 each.

Got the Nintendo Browser for $15. ($20 before coupon) Also saw Disney Meteos for $20.

Sorry if this stuff has already been mentioned.

Are Devil May Cry 3 Dante's Awakening GH and Ratchet Deadlocked front line games? I saw the games with the bargain titles but they were not price marked.

my local BB have Siren (PS2) $10, The Cons (PSP) $10, Ultimate Party Blocks (PSP) $10, Gunpey (PSP), and Poker 2 (PSP). Nothing catch my attention this time...... hope new section appear soon :)

If they don't have prices on them they aren't front row games. All front row games are indentified by a huge white sticker on the front with a price on it, along with another UPC sticker covering the game's actual UPC.

do all frontlane games for each system have one upc code? i got a few diff xbox ones and i coudlnt tell which ones i bought from the receipt, but the psp one was different.

My Pasadena store just got alot of restock, it was mainly the dragonball gt game, alot of catwoman for PS2 and gamecube. There were buncha of other games that were not white sticker, but the yellow one that were also put in the front lanes too.
bought killzone(psp) for $14.99 at my locall BB ...target had it for $39.99
Damn that's a good score.

Went to the BB in West Hollywood CA today. Snagged Twisted Metal: Head On for a mere $2!!!! (last copy)

Now here is the sad part. I almost broke down in tears when I heard the news.

A friend of mine in the store claims that BB is doing away with front lane games!!

Sure enough, at least two of the BB's in my area no longer have front lane sections. And all of the stores in my area have now locked their games inside of giant metal cages.

Can anyone confirm or deny the truth of this new development?

I'm heartbroken....

Well that would be a damn shame. I hope that doesn't come to fruition.

That almost sounds as if its a theft prevention issue. Im only hoping that could be it.

I saw these yesterday. Clearly marked with the front lane white sticker on the front, 19.99.

For 360: Poker, Condemned, and Prey for $19.99
For Wii: Legend of the Dragon, Happy Feet, Billy & Mandy, Poker

Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is good, but the rest of the Wii games stink.

A BB I went to tonight has restocked their Frontlane stuff. Mostly stuff already mentioned although there were two Xbox games for 9.99 I haven't seen mentioned. I can't remember them now. I did notice that there were large gaps in the Xbox and PS2 section. As in Xbox has one long rack and a third of it is empty that wasn't on Friday. This store has a 50% off clearance going on, but oddly none was on Xbox except for Flatout 2. The yellow sticker tagged games and frontlane games were untouched. Anyone else see this at their BB?

No, it's not about this...it's about that someone was implying that the price of front lane games at *BB* was $14.99 on some titles, rather than the $9.99 that you have in the OP. They're still not listed there under PSP stuff at *any* price.

I'm not trying to be a twit...I'm trying to decipher the post from the guy claiming he saw front lane games at BB *for the PSP* that were priced at $14.99, which is the first I've heard of it.

Is that more clear? Have *you* seen front lane PSP games at BB that were $14.99? DS games don't count, you know...

I have seen the following PSP games in the front lane section priced at $14.99 a piece. They even have the little white price stickers.

Splinter Cell Essentials
Twisted Metal: Head On (Priced at $14.99 but rang up at a mere $2)
NBA 07
Micro Machines V4

I saw all of these games at the West Hollywood Best Buy, on the corner of La Brea and Santa Monica Blvd. This is also the location where I heard that Best Buy would be doing away with the front lane video games. I have yet to hear a confirmation on that issue.

Thank you, sir! This was what I needed to hear, and seeing it was just that much more helpful. Plus, I can now see that deathscythehe has updated the OP to include said games/prices, so I'm a happy camper, so to speak.

I really wasn't trying to be a jerk, deathscythehe...I hate idiots who don't bother to read the OP as much as you do. Don't you remember the whole R&C fiasco? I just wanted confirmation that BB was carrying $14.99 PSP front lane titles, and if it was so, for it to be in the OP. I'm now more than satisfied. Thanks for updating.

Has anyone seen any Frontlane games at BB in Maryland?

I went to BB in Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Germantown they only had junk.

I went to a newer Best Buy yesterday and came away with a good haul. They had a ton of Frontlane games in stock, probably because no one knows about this particular store just yet.

- Condemned
- Killzone: Liberation
- Kingdom of Paradise
- Coded Arms
- Final Fantasy XII

I was able to use coupons for each of those games and the total for all five came out to just under $65. And to think, for roughly the same price I could have purchased Halo 3 today. Five games for the price of one. Eat that Bungie!

Systems and Prices would be useful for the OP.

There were more Wii, DS, and 360 games, but someone got in line with me so I couldn't take any more pics - all were $19.99 though. The only $9.99 FrontRow games were for PS2, GC, and Xbox.

Hey Parker, can I ask what state you live in? I'm just curious. Your photos look like the store in my area, lol. (and if it is the store in my neighborhood, I need to get my ass down there and pick up Killzone)

Also has anyone seen Lemmings, Killzone, and Outrun at a front lane section in the Los Angeles area?

Thanks in advance

Not that it needs it at this point, but I can confirm pretty much all of those at my Best Buy as well (didn't see Condemned, but did see all the others). They were right there up front in the cardboard frontlane display with the Gunpeys, Duel Masters, and the rest.

Seriously, come on. I picked up Star Wars: Episode 3 RotS on XBox for 4.99 and it still hasn't been added to the OP.

It was non-ph, too. I wouldn't of touched it if it was PH.

You've got Coded Arms double-listed. Correctly, but still doubled. Just so you know.

Hope i can find these games at my local BB & hope they still take $5 off any PSP coupon since it already expired.

Killzone Liberation - 14.99
Ape Escape On the Loose - 14.99

Also, Star Wars: Episode 3 (XBOX) $4.99 :)

How are you using the $5 off coupons? I see them as expired, or does your BB just don't care? Sorry noob here.

Man, I'm hoping that eventually I can find a copy of Ratchet and Clank (PSP) Killzone (PSP) and Yakuza, but I haven't had any luck locally.

Oh, well.

I don't know if it's been reported but I saw Madden 06 PSP for $9.99 (I'm about 80% sure it was $9.99, suddenly I am thinking it may have been $14.99) at Porter Ranch, CA over the weekend.

I went to get gunpey for psp they had a big rack of them and used the coupon, funny thing was the new sticker they put on it didnt scan and the cashier was like I cant sell this to you because its not in our system. I asked her if she tried putting the numbers in, she did that and it came up frontlane game psp ps2 9.99. She said but thats not the right item. I said thats what they all ring up and brought her some more of them. Sad bestbuy employee's

if only my best buy put these games in the front row section. all i keep seeing is numerous copies of atv quad power racing and world series of poker.

None of the FL games I ever get scan at all -- they always have to manually key them in too.
