Do I have to be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member to qualify?
Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?
You can only sign up for Gamer’s Club [Unlocked] in store. If you are signing up the day you pick up an eligible pre-order, the pre-order exchange and [Unlocked] sale must be completed on the same receipt.

Is this offer available for both in-store and BestBuy.com purchases?
Yes! Pre-orders and purchases placed both in-store and on BestBuy.com qualify.

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?
You can only receive one $20 certificate for each individual title, regardless of version or platform.

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?
Yes! With this offer, members are eligible for up to 12,000 Bonus Reward Zone points if they pre-order and purchase all games.

How do I link my Reward Zone account to my BestBuy.com account to ensure my purchases are tracked?
Check out this handy post by Kyle-BBY with instructions on how to do so.

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?
Yes, customers are still eligible for additional offers they may come available with these new releases.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?
Any game returned will be disqualified for that title’s $20 certificate offer.

If I pre-order and/or purchase any of the above listed games using a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates, will they count as a valid pre-order and purchase towards the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A price match done in-store or on BestBuy.com within policy will not affect your eligibility for the $20 bonus certificate.
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...

It will not post until 30 days after you pick up the game.
can anyone confirm if you pre ordered online, will you be able to pick it up during midnight release?
I assume the answer is yes.
How does it show up on your receipt? Can you still PM HALO 4 or since you bought with a bundle, it already discounted it?
It discounts the Xbox Live Card so Halo 4 was at full price. I had no problem when I PM it yesterday.

Nah, I'll keep posting here. If you dont like what im posting, then dont reply. Very simple. As for Black Ops 2, I wasnt asking anyone anything. Simply stating what I'll do if the transaction doesnt get posted after I receive the game.

Well FYI for those thinking of doing the BLOPS2 Bundle online you might not want to. This is how my order totals out on my account. Guess I won't be price matching anything.

But the 1000 points will be pending fairly early after release. My AC3 points have already shown up under my purchase but Im just waiting for the 30 days to be able to use them. Im Silver and GCU.

Hi guys. This is my first pre-ordered game Black Ops II. I had placed the order on 9-28, using my Reward Zone number during the checkout process. However, my Reward Zone doesn't list the pre-order purchase on my account like Dan here does, and I'm a bit worried now that when I pickup the order I would NOT be properly credited with the $20 Reward Zone certificate.

I had used my wife's Discover card during checkout to get the bonus cash back, but I had listed myself as the pickup person, so does that matter? If they won't give me the $20 pre-order credit, I guess I can just tell them to credit me back to my credit card right then. But I would love to have Black Ops II.

So the email confimation I had recieved today for tomorrow's pickup was addressed to my wife and had my name down as the pickup person. My question is when I go to pickup Black Ops II, if I give them my Reward Zone card to scan before they scan the actual copy of the game, assuming that they do, will I qualify for the $20 Reward Zone certificate still? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

While this is semi normal. If they aren't pending they can still just appear at a later date. My AC3 points didn't even show pending until Saturday and last night they posted (silver member). Again it can take up to 30 days for the points to go pending.

Btw for those that are "checking" on the pending points, you don't look at the pending points under your total posted points. You need to expand your purchase of the purchased preorder and at the bottom (in orange I think) it will show promotional points

You can do 2 things.

Easiest is log into myrz.com and on the right hand side under your point total their will be a link for report missing points

I am sure this has been asked but I couldn't find the answer. Are we going to be able to price match the black friday deals on dishonored and other games?

Nope.
Guys, I haven't even pre-ordered Black Ops 2 and NOTHING is showing up in my account! Time to call customer service :/
You better ask for $40 then or you're not doing it right!!
Can you price match an in-store purchase over the phone, or do I HAVE to go back in?
Have to go back in. That's why I prefer just to do in-store pickup, much easier to call to get a PM.

Thanks for the quick answer.

Yeah my Halo 4 LE was a in-store pickup, but I grabbed a regular edition too while I was there.

Don't worry, if you had your RZ account number linked with the online purchase you'll be fine. I know it doesn't show on your pending balance right away, but it'll show up there once you pick up the game.

I pre ordered AC3 online on 9/20 and didn't show on my account until I picked up the game. It showed there within 2 days, and got my $20 cert within a couple days after that. You'll be fine picking it up even though your wife's card was used. As long as you're the one down for the pick up, you'll be set.

Hope this helps.

Have you tried to put the items in a different order/placement?
Damn it.

You should be able to go in store and preorder still. I preordered Dishonored the day before release and was able to get the $20 promo without any problems.

*sigh.... I guess it doesn't hurt to try.

Thanks. This gives me some hope at least. Should have tried that gaming kiosk when I was there earlier today. Man I'm an idiot.

It is a bundle already. You did not have to put things in separately. I am not going to worry about it at this point. It is done and I am not going to mess with my $20 cert by trying to return the game and card. The thing that bugs me is I have a pre-order for in-store but they messed up my Halo bundle since I never got the 800 points so I thought this would work better. Well I got my 800 points but then this happened. Hoping for a 12 month card sale in the next 60 days and I will just price match that instead.

Edit: WTF happen to that guy's post? Now I am just seeing shit?

In-store pickup not available?

Is there a way to check to make sure that the online purchase was linked to the RZ account? I don't see anything pending under my RZ account. I did logged into my account to place the pre-order on 9-28 and used a few $5 certificates I had accrued. Thanks for the help.

Question for those who have done online orders with in-store pickup. I take it you will pick the game up at the normal store pickup section? No CS or gaming department right?
Question for those who have done online orders with in-store pickup. I take it you will pick the game up at the normal store pickup section? No CS or gaming department right?
My store had done it both ways for AC3 it was at the gaming counter but for Halo 4 it was at the .com pick-up counter.

So my unlocked membership expired about a month ago. I think I've decided to get BLOPS2. If I sign up again today will that be good enough, or is it too late?

You should be fine

Good luck everyone ordering online for in-store pickup and planning on picking up at midnight tonight. My Best Buy doesn't allow picking up at midnight (have to wait till next day when shipment arrives).

My Best Buy never does midnight releases either, but they're doing it for Black Ops 2. This was my first instore pre-order, as well. So, I could get the free magazine.

Not sure if this goes for all best buys but at mine they said for AC3 and Halo 4 that if you made a .com order for in store pickup that you would have to come back in the morning because they couldn't access the .com orders on their system

Just a suggestion. You should link your 2013 thread you created at the bottom of the OP of this thread since 2013 is just around the corner.
Its is going to 20 degrees out tonight...no way in hell I am going to a midnight launch. Yes I am a wuss.
Does your best buy not let you wait inside? Mine usually does
You should be fine
Thanks for the info.

I just looked at the OP though and looks like it's expired already for some reason. Oh well. I shouldn't have procrastinated and went yesterday.
Does your best buy not let you wait inside? Mine usually does
They might actually but I am still just going tomorrow anyway. :)

I know that to be false with first hand experience. I've gone to several midnight launches and have gotten my .com preorders without any issues. They ring it up just like any other .com order. They just have to try it.

If anything my stores are catching on and doing the whole "pre-ring" so everybody can just hold onto their copies in hand by 11:59pm and then let the doors open at midnight so the store is empty by 12:05am.

For stores that haven't planned on doing it, I would advise anybody here to bring it up to their store supervisors and gaming reps. It will take 2 hours guaranteed if your store does the pre-order/pick up process like they normally do. My store wasn't ready to handle it at first and their last midnight launch had folks in there at 1:30am still :cold:

Preorder for BLOPS2 are no longer available at the gaming kiosk.

Man I'm an idiot. I tried to preorder this today online and pay with shopkick certs, but it no longer works. It ONLY works in store now. Just would have rather paid this off with shopkick, but will put it on the card if I have to.

To further make myself look and feel like an idiot... if I were to enter the sku into the kiosk, would the game preorder come up? I'd do it now if I was in the store. I just got home and realized why the hell didn't I try that! Has anyone ever done this and found a game successfully to preorder with the release the next day?

Customer service should have it. At least at my store, they gather the in-store pickup games and have them with your name behind the desk.

Well that's why I said "not sure if this goes for all best buys". I have tried telling them to just try it and they still couldn't access my orders. For halo I got lucky because I got the console and they said they just couldn't get access for the games itself and i remember after she tried with someone up front at the halo launch she yelled "if you had a .com order, come back tomorrow since we can't access online orders" after she tried with someone at the register, and a hand full of people that were waiting in line just left. I preordered my BLOPS in store this time around so I should be good.

I never said they would? Isn't the whole point of preordering at best buy for the $20 RZ certificates, I know that's the only reason I'm preordering at best buy

Yea.. My BBY doesn't do midnight releases for anything, even BLOPS 2. Ill just go tomorrow morning since I'm off.

So is it pretty much 99% success rate that ill be able to PM the TRU 49.99 deal? I already have the "in my cart" order screenshot on my phone.

$49.99 plus $20 cert isn't too bad for what's bound to be the biggest selling title this year.

Then why does it matter if he waits until the last day? Typically the offer is still there, I don't know why it went away early this time.

What went away?
What went away?
Advertisements of the 1000 RZ points. dev doesn't like to show a sale on their game so any sale specifically saying BLOPS 2 needs to be non public (why it was only on the myrz sight) or needs to be a universal deal (like TRU $10 off all games).
