Do I have to be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member to qualify?
Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?
You can only sign up for Gamer’s Club [Unlocked] in store. If you are signing up the day you pick up an eligible pre-order, the pre-order exchange and [Unlocked] sale must be completed on the same receipt.

Is this offer available for both in-store and BestBuy.com purchases?
Yes! Pre-orders and purchases placed both in-store and on BestBuy.com qualify.

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?
You can only receive one $20 certificate for each individual title, regardless of version or platform.

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?

Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?

They recently updated the RZ site to the 2013 games. Someone forgot they still had 2012 games that hasn't been released when they updated. Mike ( a BBY corporate forum mod) confirmed it is still active.

It's a hassle with possibilities of disconnecting while talking, but you do need to call to do price matching for any online or in-store pickup orders.

20mins on phone (no joke) finally got dumb lady to look thru the Toysurus ad and see what I was talking about and got $10 back for Halo. Was told I have to wait till I pick up Black Ops 2 before I could get a refund on it (think this is bullshit).

Owell guess I should count my blessings

It's not BS (if you meant they were feeding you a line). They can't PM on the phone until the item is picked up.

Also they can only PM an item unless it is in stock and available to buy now.

She was telling the truth cause pending transactions on a credit card can not be adjusted for the difference until they are permanent charges. This is the main reason why you can't get a PM on a pre-order from BB.

They have black ops 2 on the front page of the website. When you click on it it takes you to the black ops page to pre order, on the bottom right look for the gamers club logo, below that you'll see this:

I accidentally ordered BO2 as a in-store pick up (but I hate it because it's too far away). It says that if I want to cancel, I can hit cancel once a reminder email comes (or not pick it up for 8 days and it'll be canceled automatically). They also shipped the bonus dog tag by mail today. If I cancel the order, will they charge for the dog tag if I keep it? Also, is it too late to pre-order again and get the $20 credit? I want to order it again so they can ship it. Thanks.

At my local Best Buy there was a line for Halo 4 pre-orders and a line for those who didn't pre-order. I imagine this will be the same scenario tonight. The line without pre-orders had to wait until all the pre-orders got their copy before they could buy the game.

YMMV with how your Best Buy handles this though.

Trust me, a game series that creates billions of dollars in revenue will have plenty of supply at each store, because if they run out that's missed opportunity. But I guess you never know considering the fact the the COD franchise is pretty good at making people angry in one way or another with the same old gameplay and lots of DLC's (I'm not a hater, I pre-ordered it too, but definitely a game that causes quite a bit of anger for many). I think BO2 is gonna change things up a lot more than before though. It'll probably be enough to make people happy but not changing it up too much beyond recognition.

As long as its says "pre-order" when you put the game in your cart you should be good on getting the $20 RWZ cert. It also should say pre-order on your confirmation email.

I'd imagine any moment now. I just pre-ordered a copy for pickup just over an hour ago and got the email to pick it up 17 min later.

Anyone know what kind of goodies to expect at midnight? My store had nothing for Halo 4, but they said they should for CoD. Then again, they had said they were expecting some for Halo and got nothing.

Thinking of just staying at home and playing some Halo and picking up CoD tomorrow after work instead.

I can only speak on behalf of my local store, but he said there'd be a raffle for some Turtle Beach headphones. Then when I brought up that I got a shirt at midnight for MW3 last year, he said that I should expect a shirt and a poster if I come.

I did mention the fact that I was getting the Hardened Edition and if I remember correctly, the way they gave out the shirts last year was to people who pre-ordered the Hardened or better. So that may have something to do with what you might or might not get.
 
Want to downgrade from the HE to standard Black Ops 2. Would I lose my reward zone certificate if I transfer the money I have down on the HE to a normal copy?

For those on the West coast still looking to pre-order Black Ops 2, it is still possible to do so. You can't do it through the kiosk but u can ask a gaming associate to ring up the pre-order sku for $5.00 and it will go through because I pre-ordered mines in store at about 8:30pm this evening in-store.

so today i noticed i got a coupon from gamer unlocked a buy 2 new games get one free. Anyone know if best buy will PM the TRU deal ( should I get the $10 off one new game or buy 2 get $30 off ?) and then use the coupon of buy2 get 1 free. I would be getting halo 4, black ops 2, and 1 more. I dont know which one yet..

I preordered online at 9:41pm for store pickup, and I haven't gotten anything about it being ready for pickup. Can I still go up there and get it at midnight if I print the receipt out?
