Do I have to be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member to qualify?
Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?

Is this offer available for both in-store and BestBuy.com purchases?
Yes! Pre-orders and purchases placed both in-store and on BestBuy.com qualify.

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?
You can only receive one $20 certificate for each individual title, regardless of version or platform.

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?

Check out this handy post by Kyle-BBY with instructions on how to do so.

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?
Yes, customers are still eligible for additional offers they may come available with these new releases.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?
Any game returned will be disqualified for that title’s $20 certificate offer.

If I pre-order and/or purchase any of the above listed games using a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates, will they count as a valid pre-order and purchase towards the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

My borderlands 2 1000 points are finally pending. Picked it up on Sept 23 (Sunday) so it took about a week and a day for it to show.

There definitely awarding points to premier silver members early right now. I pre-ordered borderlands 2 on 9/16 and just received my $20 cert for it.

Still upset I wasn't able to do pick up instore for NBA 2K13. I know it's my fault, but all the BBs near me are about 40 minutes away and I wasn't sure I would be in the area (that is not having to make a special trip costing gas money and time) until yesterday morning. Couldn't really do an early pre-order like I did with Dishonored (knowing I'll be near a BB next Thursday when I'm out) and as soon as I learned I would be around a different BB today I was ready to go.

Oh well, I guess. I put in a ship to home pre-order yesterday. Hasn't been shipped yet, but it's still early. Anyone know about how long a game takes to get here?

I didn't want to search through the thread and I know this has prob been asked a bunch of times so I apologize in advance. How long do I have as a Silver Premiere Member to price match?

60 days.

Still waiting for mine. :'( And I thought BB would like me since I've already got enough for Silver until 2014 without buying all my games from them this year. Hopefully I get it soon.

Thanks Enuf. I finally understood what you meant when you were assisting me with my mistake of preordering the wrong version of Fifa.

I bought the correct version before picking up the wrong version. The points are tied to the first purchase. Nice!

Well, they let me price match Frys even though I live in NJ and there isn't any within like 100 miles of me.

Also, I did a price adjustment when I picked it up. My receipt on the top shows its an exchange so my points should go through fine correct?

Picked up my RE6 Anthology today...haven't seen points pending, but I'm sure they'll be up before too long. Ended up paying $50.24 after $35.70 GC, $5 preorder deposit, and $5 mystery RZ cert.

Question though....since I bought the Anthology, does that mean I won't be able to do a PM on he game if the vanilla copy goes on sale within 60 days?

I just realized this and am kinda bummed...
Is the resident evil DLC packaged inside the game?
if by DLC, you mean the 1-5 full games, then yes, inside on a token card. I've already redeemed it though

While I like your hopefulness, I highly doubt the Anthology or Archives will go on sale anytime soon, or at all.

Unlike Prototype 2 CE, or ME3 CE which had physical extras in them..the Anthology is retail valued DLC on a card inside. There would be no incentive for them to put this edition on sale. That's what I'm thinking in my mind at least; but it would be nice to see
if by DLC, you mean the 1-5 full games, then yes, inside on a token card. I've already redeemed it though
My mistake. I meant the BB exclusive DLC in the standard edition of RE6.
My mistake. I meant the BB exclusive DLC in the standard edition of RE6.
Oh, no prob. Actually, I didn't see a card for that DLC in the case. Seems kind of stupid that they would only include the exclusive DLC in the $60 copy and not the more expensive one. But i'm not complaining over what appears to be an extra Mercs map. In fact, I never actually got into the Mercenaries game in any of the RE's.

Have to ask again. Is Black Ops 2 confirmed as a 20 dollar reward preorder title? Every game in the OP list is on the list on BB's site, except for Black Ops 2. The preorder bonus is also not listed under Black Ops description page.

I preordered for in store pickup the 360 archives version and just got an email with a code for my resident evil 6 pre order (haven't picked up the game yet). Guess ill see what the code is soon and post it.

Hah, that could possibly work! Although, I'm not worrying about it too much if I don't get anything from it. I thought about it today and Anthology would've been worth it to me simply for RE4 and RE6. Only a bonus I got the other ones. I'm sure I can at least get $35-40 back for RE6 when I'm done if I don't want to keep it. Then I'll have only paid roughly $10-15 to beat it and keep 1-5.

oh, btw, I rented The Raid the other night due to all your :hot::hot::hot::hot: rating on it in your sig and I must say, well done sir, well done. One of the best fighting movies I've seen in years!

Go back a few pages. You will discover how often this is asked and how annoying this question is. Good luck! Also next time you're in best buy grab one of the "victory can be pre ordered" pamphlets.

Damn, how did I not know about RE6 Archives. Did the 20$ points count towards that as well. Too late to change my order I think.

My Borderlands point posted a few days after I picked up the game. No idea why other than the game was preordered online for instore pickup. I'm so on the fence about RE6, the review are so mixed.

I don't know if that's accurate anymore, the rewards page has been updated and black ops 2 is fact removed. I won't be surprised if there's a lot of bitter people come the week after the release.

Haha thanks I was assuming it was the BB pre order DLC but it wasn't advertised during purchase. (Neither was my fifa 13 pre order bonus either though).

Since this is a bit more active thread, I'll ask again on here. Can anyone answer me as to how I would go about PM Fry's Anthology price of $74.99 to the one I just bought at BBY?

I already opened the game (don't know if this matters) and i have the receipt still. Could i just go back this afternoon and show them the ad on my phone and show them my receipt and could they refund me from that?

And since I paid $55.24 cash, $35.70 GC, and $5 RZ cert...in what form would i be given the $15ish back?

Yeah, you don't need to bring the game in. Pretty sure they'll just issue you a GC.

They removed the $20 reward from the page for a reason, I don't believe it's just a error. Yes because of that page we will be able to call and get them to apply the bonus no matter what, but still you have to wonder why it's been removed from both the product and the normal promo page.

Yes. Most likely back to your GC.

I don't see Black Ops 2 listed whether I am logged into the Rewards Zone or not. I have been planning on pre-ordering from Best Buy, but I may get it from Newegg now if Best Buy is no longer offering the deal.

No, its not an error. They have gotten a lot of flack from Activision about COD appearing to be on sale before release date. I don't remember about the actual product page, but it has been off of the normal promo page for at least a month, probably 2. The only way to see it is to actually log into the reward zone site and it has been that way for quite some time. And it is on most, if not all, of the promotional material in store.

Don't follow the link posted above. Go through the steps in Reward Zone to get to the Gamers Club pre-order promo page. It's still there.

Besides the pamphlet I mentioned earlier my local BB actually has 3-4 HUGE posters all over the gaming section which clearly shows that black ops 2 is a part of this promotion.

As somebody also observed, it looks like BB is trying to promote the $20 RZ certificate ”under the table.”

I'm sure the promo certs will be issued. CS will cover us if anything. If you want to be cautious, just snap a camera phone pic of the poster next to the gaming kiosk promoting it. It's there.

Fry has it for 74.99 so you can try PM with that, but most stores don't price match online ads.

I did same as you beat RE6 trade in for 42, $20 gc, and maybe 15 price match fry so you paid less than retail just for RE6 getting all 6 games.

Got preorder email and order shipped email hour ago. How long does standard shipping usually take. Hoping by Saturday.

Just asking: Guys at BB had a horrible time finding my pre order on NBA. I had to run out to car and get receipt. The receipt that I got at pickup, has EXCHANGE on the top...anyone have any experience with that and still getting my RZ points.

Exchange is correct, you should be just fine.

Im sure I got screwed, went to pick up my preorders for RE6 and NBA 2k, got no DLC on receipt, my receipt also says "Exchange" on top, but notice it list my $5 down are listed as "Return" furter down on the receipt.

Hey all, I have a question regarding this $20 dollar on Best Buy reserves promo.

So I picked up my Resident Evil 6 reserve this afternoon at my local Best Buy. I had reserved the game 3 or 4 weeks ago. As I picked it up, the gaming specialist rung me up instead of a normal customer service rep or cashier. As he rung me up for the game, I noticed he cancelled my Resident Evil 6 reserve and then rung it up normally to let the $5 deposit be applied to the final price. Will this mean that I won't get the $20 dollar credit since he cancelled my reserve even though I bought it in the same transaction? Has anyone had this happen to them yet? If so, did you still receive the 20 dollar RZ certificates?

I've never had this happen before and I am kind of worried. I want that $20 dollar RZ gift certificate in time for Assassin's Creed III.

Thanks.

Oh man, you had this happen too? I was just mentioned it in the post above this one of the same thing happening too me. :(
