Do I have to be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member to qualify?
Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?

Is this offer available for both in-store and BestBuy.com purchases?
Yes! Pre-orders and purchases placed both in-store and on BestBuy.com qualify.

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?
You can only receive one $20 certificate for each individual title, regardless of version or platform.

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?

Check out this handy post by Kyle-BBY with instructions on how to do so.

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?
Yes, customers are still eligible for additional offers they may come available with these new releases.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?
Any game returned will be disqualified for that title’s $20 certificate offer.

If I pre-order and/or purchase any of the above listed games using a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates, will they count as a valid pre-order and purchase towards the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...

I couldn't get the Frys PM. Nearest location is 4 hours away (ATL). Though after watching a free play, this game looks crappy. I don't think I plan to keep it.

Got RE6 for $45 + tax after Fry's PM and $5 RZ cert. Got NBA2K13 for $55 + tax with a $5 RZ Cert. Kind hoping I can get Borderlands 2 and NBA2K13 PM's down to at least $50 before my $5 RZ Certs on them. No DLC though, so I'll be waiting for that too.

How do I know if I'm getting the reward cert?

I preordered and I got the email with the message:
"If you entered your Reward Zone ID during checkout, points will be awarded to your account for eligible purchases approximately 30 days after fulfillment. Please allow 6-8 weeks to receive your reward certificates."

But I don't remember if I entered my RZ ID during checkout, and there's nothing on the receipt that says it's linked to my RZ account.

if you don't think you are getting the points you can always report the missing points on the rz page.

My receipt when I picked up my RE6 (successfully PMd too and fully paid using GCs) states that it's an "Exchange". Is that... normal? I asked the cashier and I was told that it's always like that for pre-order pick ups.

It was actually my first time pre-ordering at BB, and I'm just hoping I'll receive the RZ cert in 30 days time.

Yes, it's normal. You'll see the points pending within a week or so.

The OP really needs to be updated to explain what the receipt looks like, so it cuts down on the same question being asked 5 times a page...

Has anyone got there NBA 2k13 All Star DLC yet, I want to play Mycareer, but I'm afraid that if I start one I won't be able to play the All Star Weekend in that play through when I finally do get the code.
Fry has it for 74.99 so you can try PM with that, but most stores don't price match online ads.

I did same as you beat RE6 trade in for 42, $20 gc, and maybe 15 price match fry so you paid less than retail just for RE6 getting all 6 games.

Got preorder email and order shipped email hour ago. How long does standard shipping usually take. Hoping by Saturday.
I'm wondering how the long shipping takes too. Ordered NBA 2k13, would have preferred to pick up but that wasn't in the cards.

Yeah, but many times it's quicker than that, I was wondering what other people had experienced.

So I know it does not mean anything other than internet rage but the user score for RE6 on 360 is 0.6 and on the ps3 is 0.4 on Metacritic. That may be the lower than the Mass Effect rage.

Added it to the FAQs, along with the "Is black ops 2 still part of the promo" question.

Internet Trolls are raging, I am LOVING RE6, much more then 5. Also you can unlock Alternate custome via Residentevil.net (Similar to COD Elite) the Leon Pirate costume is too damn awesome.
I haven't gotten mine yet either.
So I just had to post since this reminded me,and no racism meant, but LOL!!

When I was at CS tonight PM'ing RE6, some 17ish yr old black kid was at the store pickup for at least a good 30 mins, if not more (was still there after I even left) complaining about his All Star DLC not being there...

No employee seemed to know what to do and I just wanted to laugh in his face, and then it hit me...we CAGs are the few who know. So then I just let out a silent laugh to myself and went on about my pleasant evening.

Good day gaming wise. Picked up Re6, God of War Saga, and Lego Batman 2 for $107. With a game that has a complete story mode of 20+ hours, 5 GOW games, an open world lego game, and a 1 month voucher of ps+ I think Im covered with gaming until Black Ops 2 comes out. Speaking of black ops, I remebered that I forgot to preorder the HE while I was picking up these games.#-o Hopefully by the next time I go to BB they arent sold out.

Well...I had an interesting day at Best Buy today...

I called the store yesterday to put ME3 CE for PS3 and Lollipop Chainsaw on hold for me. I go there today to get those two games and RE6....This is where the problem starts. I pre-ordered the game like 6-7 months ago.

They see that I have it pre-ordered, but they cannot access the transaction, it's like in limbo. They say they can just give me $5 on a gift card and then buy the game, but I explain that that isn't the issue. The issue is that I would lose out on the $20 due to not having a pre-order anymore. The BIGGER issue is that on the same transaction I have Dishonored, Halo 4, and AC3 pre-ordered. That means all 3 of those games are in limbo too...

They agree that this is a problem, but they have no idea what to do. There is no way for them to get the transaction to actual come into the POS system so they can do an exchange. At this point it's been almost an hour of me being in the store when I should have only been there 5-10 minutes.

The woman apologized, and I don't blame any employee for this situation at all, but I blame the BB internal system. She said that to get me out of the store so I don't need to wait around any longer, she will just sell me the game as is, cancel the pre-order, give me $5 off, and will be in contact with me to ensure I get my $20.

While I do believe her, I have a feeling this is just the start of the issues with this order. Thanks to having to go back next Tuesday for Dishonored, 3 weeks later for AC3, and the week after that for Halo 4.

When I got home I called the RZ CS department and told them the situation. I tell the woman everyone was very nice and did their best to help, but the situation itself is unacceptable and I am really annoyed that I may have to deal with this situation another THREE times in the span of a month.

She apologized and agrees my situation is unacceptable and shouldn't have to be this complex and gives $15 as an apology, which is more than fair. I also ask her to note my account, because I am worried that if I call them in 30-40 days and say "yes...you owe me $80 for 4 pre-order credits I never got..." they will just laugh at me and tell me to piss off.

None of the employees at Best Buy had ever seen anything like this...YAY ME!

Best Buy's systems are absolutely horrendous. They screwed up a transaction once because they put in the $10 credit I got for using in-store pickup in before they put in a $20 RZ. Once they did they couldn't actually use the reward zone certificate. Seriously.

Did anyone receive their code yet from pre-ordering RE6? I pre-ordered it this past Saturday, picked up the game at 10am and havent received it yet.

As for NBA 2K13, it was shipped out to me since in store pickup was unavailable. It was shipped out yesterday and scheduled delivery date is next Monday. Dont mind the wait though as an updated roster update should be released by the time I get the game.
Added it to the FAQs, along with the "Is black ops 2 still part of the promo" question.
Thanks man. :)
Both games came out TODAY. No point of coming on here and asking about the DLC. Their site says 24 hours.
Damn. Didnt even know that. Oh well, 9 more hours to go. LOL.
So I know it does not mean anything other than internet rage but the user score for RE6 on 360 is 0.6 and on the ps3 is 0.4 on Metacritic. That may be the lower than the Mass Effect rage.
yeah, the review is pretty bad, one of the major complaint of the game is the camera angles
24-48 hrs to be exact
i think that is what they told me, when i did not get my fifa 13 preorder dlc code after picking it up
yeah, the review is pretty bad, one of the major complaint of the game is the camera angles
Yeah, as someone else put it. It should be called "Gears of Evilfield 6". The game isn't even as scary as the last resident evils
well i got both my codes today from doing ship to home
Same. I've started pre-ordering exclusively from .com and getting it at home (I'm silver so with expedited shipping I get the games on Wednesday). Take all the hassle and guess work out of it. Zero issues since I started doing that.

My local Best Buy has just gone really down hill the last 6 months. Since they refuse to properly train their employees I'll just let an automated system take care of everything instead.

lol, you can still preorder dishonored, ac3 and halo 4 again, if you are worried about not getting the $20.
I'm wondering how the long shipping takes too. Ordered NBA 2k13, would have preferred to pick up but that wasn't in the cards.
They gave me a tracking number, but no info till 24 hours after shipping. I'm guessing 3-5 business days max.
well i got both my codes today from doing ship to home
me too. I dont mind having a day late, if I get to avoid the hassle of the employee not messing up, and having to wait in line forever at CS, in order to eventually price match.

Also get to save 2 dollars in gas, and $1.68 from bigcrumbs.
Is anyone getting both Blops 2 and Warfighter? I can't decide whether to get both now or wait on MoH.
There will be a beta for warfighter on the 5th. That probably can help your decision.
lol, you can still preorder dishonored, ac3 and halo 4 again, if you are worried about not getting the $20.
You also realize that because they cannot exchange my pre-orders for when I pick them up that there is no way for them to actually cancel my pre-order and give me the $5. If they could do that then they could honor the pre-order itself. So either way they need to fix the issue because I have $20 in limbo at Best Buy.

I'm having issues with my bestbuy.com account currently, all my order history is wiped cleaned including pre-orders. I was wondering if a few CAGs can check if this is just me.

that is troubling, if you cannot even get your preorder deposit back.

NBA 2K13 buyers....... Check out what retards are paying for the all-star game and events code on Ebay, $20 and up lol already sold mine tonight. Something that shoulda been in the game anyway it's just retarded.
that is troubling, if you cannot even get your preorder deposit back.
I am sure it will be fixed, but it was an interesting experience that was annoying. So far I made $15 on it, add-in any price matches since I have 2 months to do it. In the end here is how I see it.

Borderlands 2-$63.59
RE6-$63.59
Dishonored-$63.59
AC3-$63.59
Halo 4-$63.59
TOTAL:$317.95

Credits:
Borderlands 2-$20
RE6-$35 ($15+20)
Dishonored-$20
AC3-$20
Halo 4-$20
TOTAL: $115

Potential Price Match (Cash back not final price):
Borderlands 2-$20
RE6-$20
Dishonored-$20
AC3-$20
Halo 4-$20 (not keeping if it does not get $20 price match)
TOTAL: $100

So in the end I will hopefully pay a total of $103 (included rewardzone credit) for 5 games. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
it might be they are updating their system again, lol
No order history here either. So this is how Best Buy employees can get in late on Wii U pre-orders! Just kidding, I'm sure its just maintenance, until all my pre-orders get cancelled, then it will be ARMAGEDDON! ;-)
