Major Nelson has been tweeting out the deal, so Microsoft is not totally ignoring it.If this was a price drop or "limited time sale" you would see it promoted officially by the Xbox Division, it would be posted on Major Nelson's site. The only way someone would know about this is through forums.
All you're doing is adding more Xbox One's and then removing them an the Forza download is staying attached to the original console?1 Xbox One ($450) and 9 Free Forza Download Codes (see photo).
Very tempting. Think they actually deliver all the codes?1 Xbox One ($450) and 9 Free Forza Download Codes (see photo).
Yes, that's what I did. I won't be surprised because I don't plan on ordering an XB1.All you're doing is adding more Xbox One's and then removing them an the Forza download is staying attached to the original console?
Don't be surprised when you get 9 of the same code.
Probably not, but if you were planning on getting the XB1 anyways, worth a shot.Very tempting. Think they actually deliver all the codes?
Doubtful but don't see why you wouldn't at least try.Very tempting. Think they actually deliver all the codes?
That and if they don't deliver them you'd have no option but to return as it's not like you can try to get a customer service rep to honor the order since it involved manipulating the shopping cart.Yeah, just checked other games w/ bonus dlc and the same trick works for stacking DLC codes. Not sure these would be delivered.
I have a headache even getting one DLC code delivered sometimes from BBY.
I think you could totally get a rep to honour it if its part of the order and not delivered. That and if they don't deliver them you'd have no option but to return as it's not like you can try to get a customer service rep to honor the order since it involved manipulating the shopping cart.
Plus, Best Buy will probably ban him from the store and void his RZ card. But the really question is, why would you need 10 copies of Forza or anything for that matter?
No you would not able to. First, as far as I know, as basic CSR can't just give an extra DLC code so it would have to go to a review team to handle this... and they wouldn't quickly realize that you don't get 9 codes in your cart by just adding one system---the only way to get 9 codes it to manually manipulate the cart.I think you could totally get a rep to honour it if its part of the order and not delivered.
You could subsidize the cost of your console by selling extra codes at ~ $20 eachBut the really question is, why would you need 10 copies of Forza or anything for that matter?
Sell them on eBay and could probably get an x1 for free or close to it.But the really question is, why would you need 10 copies of Forza or anything for that matter?
To sell them. Duh! That's whatBut the really question is, why would you need 10 copies of Forza or anything for that matter?
What in the world has happened to CAG?To sell them. Duh! That's whatSlickDealsthis place is all about!
Very unlikely. They would know its wrong and probably ban you from best buy.I think you could totally get a rep to honour it if its part of the order and not delivered.
i wonder whyCan't you just return it of you dont get all the codes? I would try this but I'm banned from buying online.
But you could've used the 5x rz pt bonus offer netting over twice as much credit at the beginning of the year then now would be a double dip for pts. Plus it would show up like your spending $950 towards elite/elite plus.Pretty snazzy deal. If I bought one with my Best Buy credit card I'd be looking at 1347 points or $25 in reward credit. Hmm.
Ask BB for it, it`s April will be 4 months since the last seems about right timingMan I only have 250 in best buy credit. Anyone know when the next 5x rwz is happening![]()
I personally don't think it's going to last that long. They have said that it is just a limited time sale (no one knows when it ends) that Walmart was doing and then Best Buy matched them. Amazon followed when a ton of people were telling them of the better deal and begging them to match it.any idea of time frame this sale is going on. knowing my luck when i get paid on the 4th it'll be over and i'll have to purchase for the full price.
Yeah I've been trying to hammer that point home. Walmart didn't just decide, out of the blue, that it would cut the price of the Xbox One and Target, Best Buy and Amazon didn't just decide to follow their lead to be competitive.ugh, Best Buy didn't match Wal-mart lol. Thats not how it works. If that was the case wouldnt best buy just match everyone elses ad every week without us having to price match?
No, that's not how it works. Best Buy decided to do a national price-match on Wal-Mart's deal. They never had it advertised until they decided to match Walmart because a lot of people were just going in and getting them to price match so many consoles.ugh, Best Buy didn't match Wal-mart lol. Ok so. how come they have never done this before? They just don't drop the price on an item midweek because another company decides to run a sale. No, that's not how it works. You're clueless. It was Walmart's deal and both Target and Best Buy will match Walmarts prices. There was a really high-demand for the price so Best Buy just matched it nationally. Amazon eventually came around to match it after a ton of people were asking for them to match it. Target has not matched it nationally but you can get it them to match easily.Yeah I've been trying to hammer that point home. This most certainly was initiated by MS.
LOL. That isn't how it works. At all.No, that's not how it works. Best Buy decided to do a national price-match on Wal-Mart's deal. They never had it advertised until they decided to match Walmart because a lot of people were just going in and getting them to price match so many consoles.

They probably have done this before on a popular deal. I'm pretty sure they have.Ok so. how come they have never done this before? They just don't drop the price on an item midweek because another company decides to run a sale.
I don't recall Major Nelson making it known that Target was offering a $50 gift card with an Xbox One a few weeks ago.
wow, you are just really dense and have no idea how business works, lol. They probably have done this before on a popular deal. I'm pretty sure they have.
They didn't just notice Walmart was running the deal and then decided to do it themselves. They were getting tons of sales and a lot of people asking for a price match. It was just a very popular deal especially when first posted. People were right away going to Best Buy to get them, maybe because of trade credit or whatever reason but lots of people were getting them to match. At that point they just decided to run the deal themselves also. They do this with popular deals all the time to get people in their stores instead of Walmarts.
Want a game? Want a controller? Buy a headset. This is how it works. It was insanely popular. You guys don't get how price match guarantees work or competitive business.
Honestly... this ranks up there with some of the most ridiculous things I've read. They probably have done this before on a popular deal. I'm pretty sure they have.

How do you explain the non-titanfall bundles being priced $449.99 as well?Ok if that's all you can say. All that I said were facts. You cats are clueless. This is going right back up to $500 with no Titanfall as soon as the bundles are gone.
No. I could be wrong but haven't all the standard green consoles been converted to Forza bundles? Either way Best Buy has both Forza and Titanfall bundles as $449.99 and all X1 consoles are ringing up $449.99 at Walmart B&M (not sure about online)Damn I thought it was just for the Titanfall bundle.
You could also use the X1AMAZON code at amazon to get the Forza bundle for $449.99 too. I thought this price drop was just because Microsoft wanted people more people to buy Titanfall on the Xbox one and not the 360 but I guess not.No. I could be wrong but haven't all the standard green consoles been converted to Forza bundles? That's basically it. They aren't going to restrict the deal to bundles though. Obviously if they're going to sell the Titanfall bundle for this price then they're not going to be selling just the console for $500 still. But this is just a temporary sale. It is not going to stay at this price. The console will probably see a $50 price drop though eventually to $450 but it will only be the console. Only deals around Black Friday and will only be equal to this deal at best. You could also use the X1AMAZON code at amazon to get the Forza bundle for $449.99 too. Microsoft should start giving away a free digital game to their early adopter to show some appreciation to the early adapters.
They are probably going to drop it to $399 with 2 free games plus Kinect intact just because you keep on insisting they won't go lower. I would had been called crazy if I predicted that you could get Titanfall plus an Xbox One with Kinect for $450 4 months after launch last year but here we are now with not 1 but 3 major retailers. That's basically it. There won't be a better deal. You're just babbling. They are probably going to drop it to $399 with 2 free games plus Kinect intact just because you keep on insisting they won't go lower. You are on a video game deal site, we don't need Microsoft to drop the MSRP to get a better deal.
*Takes screenshot of this post*There won't be a better deal. You're just babbling.
Sure if you wait 3 years you can save $200 but that's not the point here.
There's always a better deal.There won't be a better deal. You're just babbling.

You could buy 1,000 if the cashier allowed it.Actually the KMart deal had a limit of 2 per person. So no you couldn't have done that with all the BS you listed. You're lost, try again
You sound pretty clueless and broke for that matter. There's absolutely no chance in what you say happening. Do you have any sale to reference that makes you think this? Past Black Friday sales have been pretty non existent on consoles but yea you really know it all that they're going to knock $100 off their console and bundle in some games a year later. You really have no clue.I don't know what will happen to MSRP but I'm pretty damn sure the Black Friday price of Xbox One consoles bundled with a game will be 399.99. Anyone that thinks a better deal is to be had in March than on BF has either not been around here long or has a lot to learn about the importance of holiday sales.
These $450 bundles are great deals for people that want Titanfall or Forza on Xbox One really badly. For most people there is still no "killer app" and waiting will result in more games and lower prices.
What do you mean do an amazon order? Amazon is also doing the same price via a code for $50 off like BBY.Ugh.. a price drop already on a bundle that has been out 10 days??
It is selling pretty well from what I have seen.
Anything I can do on a amazon order and try to get $50 credited back or something?
I'm going to write them and see what I can do.
