I was tempted to get TS3 and the LOTR movies, but I saved my cash this time. Nothing else I really wanted. I was hoping for more KIDS movies for my son and daughter. The selection for that was minimal.

If ayone has the Tinkerbell and Princess and the Frog Disney movies, I may be willing to go to my store and pick some up for trade.

Just came back with:
Scott Pilgrim
Zombieland
Marley & Me
Prince of Persia
Max Payne

saw Avatar there but wasn't sure if it was part of the sale but was tagged at 12.99 and zombieland was tagged 12.99 so maybe it was. Also tried getting social network and the town, but wasn't part of the sale.

My (first) haul of the day:

A Clockwork Orange
Fantastic Mr. Fox
Get Smart
Get Smart: Bruce & Lloyd Out of Control
Girl Who Played With Fire
Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
How to Train Your Dragon
Invictus
Ponyo
Robin Hood
We Are Marshall
Where the Wild Things Are
Whiteout
The Wolfman

A Clockwork Orange?!? I would love to find that
I picked up
Harry Brown
TS3
TS2
Scott Pilgrim
How to Train Your Dragon.

I will probably go to a different store to try to find more.

Let's all share what we found, but did not pick up, and may end up buying in a few days :)

Here's mine:

Gran Torino
Invictus
Prince of Persia
Hulk
The LOTR movies
The Millenium Trilogy (The Girl Who...)
Taken
Scott Pilgrim
Sherlock Holmes
The Blind Side

Picked up:

Scott Pilgrim
Fantastic Mr Fox
Gran Torino
Taken
Slumdog Millionaire
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
The Happening
Kick-Ass
Toy Story 3
Crazy Heart
How to Train Your Dragon
Date Night
Miami Vice
Robin Hood
Book of Eli

I got lucky because I decided to leave Valentine's Day because it was a rental copy. I went through the BRs again and found Taken.

Well, I got most of the ones I was looking for this morning:
A Clockwork Orange?!? I would love to find that
Gonna have to bite the bullet and buy the new at this rate.

Read the books, they are much, much better and can be gotten for free at your local public library :)
I hope my storw still has Sleeping Beauty when I get out of work. They only have 1 copy.
FYI. It was marked $16.99 at two stores by me. I already have the BD, so I didn't care much. I was hoping for more Disney movies.

I'm looking for toy story 2. Anyone finds it, pm me. It'd be awesome if someone needs it as a placeholder. I'll give you $5 plus the shipping.

I was able to get ts1, ts2, and lotr trilogy. All said $12.99 but rang up $9.99
If anyone get's Hulk by Ang Lee starring Eric Banna, i am willing to paypal $8USD shipped w/ tracking. Must be shipped within the day i send payment and tracking number sent to me within the day remaining.
You're an idiot dude. It's not enough that someone is willing to help you purchase the bluray. You REQUIRE that they go out of their way to ship it within a day and send you the tracking within the day remaining.

After having a crappy start to the day finding nothing but rubbish at my closest Blockbuster, I took a road trip to the next closest (an hour away). Finally, I found a store that has stock and can sticker items for sales!
(I've already started putting them into a CD book)
IMG_0033.JPG

Not pictured are:
• Hurt Locker
• Grand Turino
• Book of Eli
• Taken
• Where the Wild Things Are
• Scott Pilgram
(Already gave these to my brother to watch)

I've got some major watching to do now!

Has any one picked up Wall-E as a part of this sale? I found one at my BBV but it was marked at $12.99. Guess I need to go back and have them scan it to check the price.

it still may ring up as $9.99

Anyways, No luck at my local Blockbuster. The lone copy was gone. If anyone has a copy of Sleeping Beauty they wouldnt mind sending to me I'd pay $8 with shipping, or I'm willing to trade one of the movies I got today for it.

The Girl Who Played With Fire
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Toy Story 3 (not trading)
Chloe
The Hangover
Indiana Jones: the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Juno
Star Trek
Quantum of Solace

Also willing to trade or do the $8 for WALLE, Alice In Wonderland(animated), or Ratatouille if anyone finds those as well. Please PM me if your willing to trade or ship.

I forgot to mention I found 1 lone .99 cent blu at my Blockbuster. Staten Island. I bought it just to flip at a used game store for $4. It was mixed in with .99 cent blus that were leftover from the Memorial Day sale. Be nice if they got more.

Do you know if this same store had 99 cent blu rays for Memorial Day?

Picked up the following at 1 store:

How To Train Your Dragon
Get Him to the Greek
Hot Fuzz
A Serious Man
The Girl who Played with Fire

Got these at another:

Benjamin Button
Bullitt
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Fantastic Mr Fox
The Orphanage

Left behind Million Dollar Baby (I don't know why I did this. Heard it was a great movie). Maybe I'll go back and get it. I also noticed a box under the table with BD's that had a BUNCH more BD's in it, but none of them were stickered. I didn't mention the box to the manager, but when asking if there would be anymore BD's out on display or coming in from a different shipment, he denied it. Don't know what's going on there, but I saw great titles such as Kick-Ass, Expendables, Toy Story 3, and a bunch more...

Million Dollar Baby is a fantastic movie and worth $4 if you can manage 4 other movies to pair it up with. I don't know if the film is necessary one of those that you would want to sit down and watch more than once. But you should watch it if you haven't seen it.

Im willing to trade a particular movie in my haul for How to train a dragon. Let me know if you're interested

Got 10 movies at two stores today (along with some games of course).

We've already watched Fantastic Mr Fox. I get more play out of these blu-ray sales than the game ones - the games just go on my huge pile o' unplayed stuff while we are actually into watching the movies now.

I got that along with the LOTR trilogy (I had them still sealed from the Amazon BF sale at $7 each but just couldn't pass them up at $4 each), Where The Wild Things Are (never seen), Incredible Hulk (the newer one - never saw it), Ice Age Dawn of Dinos, How To Train Your Dragon, and of course Toy Story 3 which was my main target.

Wish the third "Girl Who..." movie was part of this deal. My buddy picked up the first two and I am excited to see them.
And I posted yesterday that I disappointed that my store no longer has The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus? Well, that's because I apparently bought it last time. It seems to be sitting on my shelf.

I picked up Imaginarium, Sherlock Holmes, District 9, Where the Wild Things Are, and Toy Story 3. They also had LotR Trilogy, Predators, Transformers 2, Quantum of Solace, Moon, How to Train Your Dragon, IMAX Under the Sea, Book of Eli, Half Blood Prince...none of those are collection material or I have them already, but would be good deals otherwise.

If it wasn't for this thread, I'd have to rely on my actual stores' prices, in which case I probably wouldn't have found anything during this sale. I picked up:

Percy Jackson
Sherlock Holmes
Nightmare on Elm Street (remake)
Hot Tub Time Machine
Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
Girl Who Played with Fire
Sleeping Beauty
Shutter Island
Prince of Persia
How to Train Your Dragon

Six of those 10 movies were labeled incorrectly and when I brought them up to the counter to ask to scan them, the guy ringing up always said, "I'm pretty sure these are the right price." Of course he was then shocked to find out that the prices were $9.99. This happened at two different stores. Sheesh.

Found a bunch of stuff today, but passed. Some of them seemed pretty rare for BBV:

Poltergeist
Heat
Event Horizon

and some of the usuals:

Taken
Green Zone
Prince of Persia
Scott Pilgrim
Kite Runner
Hulk
"The Girl Who..." #1 and #2
Transformers RotF
Toy Story 3
Sherlock Holmes
District 9
Predators
Robin Hood

Still trying to find Miami Vice!

By the way, Wall-E is $12.99 and does not qualify for the sale.

I think I am the only person who shops at these sales. All of the BDs from last month are there, and most of the games as well.

I brought them to the counter, and he scanned away. the only title that i wasn't able to get was Goodfellas because it was added recently to their inventory.

I didn't peel any stickers. This is how i got them:

Might have to try this. I've bought a couple movies from them before, that I rented and then looked at the receipt and said "It's only $5 more to purchase Sympathy for Mr Vengeance? Go ahead and charge me for it, cuz it's mine now!" I'm assuming that the purchase price attached to these movies are still under $9.99? That if someone rented one, that is the total price? That would explain why the deal worked.

If I get confirmation from anyone else that it works, I'll go do it.
