WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a few months back. If you have a girlfriend with an account or a brother or sister, see if you can have their extra coupons if you need them.

So here are the coupons:
It surprises me that someone who would like Ponyo or A Bug's Life wouldn't be interested in Tinker Bell 3, especially for the price we'll all be getting it at. o_O

Have you even seen the movie yet ?
doubtful.

Its a direct to DVD/Blu release.

Okay. Well I have watched the full Blu-ray release and all the extras on it so I will give you my impressions.

It is a reference quality release. It looks amazing like the other Tinker Bells. If it was a little longer I think it could be a theatrical release. The average bitrate is 30 Mbps, and it's an AVC encode. If I was looking for a title to show off my Blu-ray setup this would be one of the ones I'd grab off the shelf. The movie itself is cute and entertaining. I think it's the cutest of the three Tinker Bells so far.

The extras are better than most Blu-rays I've come across. While they may not be numerous, they're actually all in high definition. You get 14 minutes of deleted scenes/intros to scenes and a music video by the charming Bridgit Mendler. There's lots of previews for quality Disney high def releases coming up like Tangled, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, etc. Nothing in standard def.

Remember, Pixar's infamous John Lasseter was the producer on this. It is going up there with my Pixars and Bolt on my shelf as another of Disney's computer animated greats.
doubtful.

Its a direct to DVD/Blu release.
Sometimes Disney shows these direct to DVD movies on Disney Channel first. I remember Tinkerbell 1 and 2 both aired on Disney Channel a month or so before the DVDs were released. First time confused the crap outta me when my wife was like "We gotta get Tinkerbell. The girls saw it at so and so's house and loved it." I was like "How the hell could they have seen it, the DVD doesn't come for a month!" Anyway, Barbie and Musketeers movie and Barbie the Mermaid both also aired on tv first as well, possibly also on Disney.
One more question: at which point during the transaction are people using the 5 off 25 coupon? Is this when we go to pick up TB3 and place the BatB and TS3 preorders?
i think we totally forgot about that. its not even factored into the equation.
i think we totally forgot about that. its not even factored into the equation.
It's not usable with other coupons on the same product anyway so don't count on it working unless you want the manager to override it or you add other items to the transaction.
I am going to post this again for everyone asking.

1) preorder Tinkerbell for $10. (before 9/21)

2) when you pick up the movie (no particular order).
29.99 Tinkerbell
-10 BATB Preorder
-10 TS3 Preorder
+10 (2 preorders)
-10 Tinerbell preorder from (1) (bring your receipt and preorder cards)
-10 Manufacturer Coupon.

Total should be $0 plus tax in the end, regardless how the gift card is rung up since it is free with purchase for reserving.

Tinkerbell BR, $10 GiftCard, $5 on BATB and $5 on TS3 for the inital investment of $10. (When picking up the Tinkerbell BR, might just have to pay a few pennies on the tax).
so after reading some more, are people agreeing that this is making sense to them? if so i will post it in the op for now.

From slick deals - a guy mentioned a free watch with purchase of Tink 3. I asked him for a scan of the ad, here's a link to the pic, so look for this watch on Tuesday:
http://a.slickdeals.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=413237&d=1284832644

So for $10 down, we get:
Tinker Bell on Blu Ray, a $5 deposit on Beauty and the Beast, a $5 deposit on Toy Story 3, a $10 gift card, a free watch, and for 2.85 S&H a free charm bracelet.
http://www.disneymovierewards.go.co...rs/charmoffer?cmp=dmov_dmr_emc_charmoffer_821

Animal, can you please update the OP with the watch and charm bracelet too?

Typical, the link does not work

Animal, add the free watch to the post as well and if you want maybe the disclaimer with the charm bracelet.
LOL, I don't think I'll be too upset if I don't get a free watch without asking.
with princess and the frog they had kissing plush frogs that were free. they rang up full price but they were discounted to 0 when the cashierb hit total. these watches will probably be similar. at my store, the frogs were in some rand shelf endcap. hopefully this will be near the movie.
LOL, I don't think I'll be too upset if I don't get a free watch without asking.
Ebay can be your friend. Ever better: Donate it to Toys for Tots around Christmas.

I was going to sit out TB3, but with nieces and a friend who's going to have a girl, being able to give both a copy as gifts for $0 is too good to pass up

So do we do both the BatB and TS3 preorders on Tuesday, or do you wait and stack them? I've seen it explained both ways. (that you JUST do the BatB pre-order when you pick up Tinkerbell (and then you do a TS3 pre-order when you pick up BatB), and that you have to do both...)

Sorry to be so dense. The way TrU stacks promos makes my head hurt.

Me personally? I'm going to do both BatB and TS3 when I pick up TB3 on Tuesday

I'm going to pre-order/pick-up at a TRU that isn't my 'home' store and let the pre-orders rot, and I'll use the $10 GC towards BatB at my home TRU

The $5 off $25 works on preorders with an override and filler. The $5 is prorated between the NON-preorder items, so you still get the $20 ($10 and $10) for 2 copies of Tinkerbell.

Preorder both (since both preordrs cost you nothing in this transaction) and then when you pickup BATB, preorder TS3 again.

So we are assuming the $10 you already paid will go towards the $5 and $5 preorders. Hopefully it will work!

Amazon credited $10 for Tinker Bell for the 2nd order. I have only to pay $1.99 shipped. :D

Hello,

As promised, I've reduced the price of the "Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue (Two-Disc Blu-ray/ DVD Combo)" to the $11.99. This is what you will be charged for the item when your order ships.

I hope this helps. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

It should barring any issues with register calculations.
I'm tired of seeing TRU deal, lol!
In the past ten years, I've been in TRU more in the past month than the rest combined. In fact, the last time I set foot in the store prior to the Halo card deals was just before Transformers 2 came out, as I was looking for a Ravage action figure.
I'm tired of seeing TRU deal, lol!
yea lol. maybe we should add giovanni's post to the OP?

EDIT:

or even put a "The cheapest way to get xxxx is: " in the OP for people to refer to (for the life of the deal of course)
Any deals for the Beauty and the Beast Blu besides the $10off coupon from Disney?
You can stack it with a TS3 Preorder (TRU only) and get an additional $10 off but you are paying a additional $5 for the preorder. (what you do with the preorder after, keep it or return it for a refund is entirely up to you).

i preordered tinkerbell...cuz its a good deal

but i have no interest in it...

if I do the deal then I get a gift recipt then return it...would I be able to swap it out for another blu ray or get a gift card for the return?

Some that aren't interested in TB3 have talked about either returning it with a gift receipt or giving it to a family member/friend that would be interested. (It'd make a great Christmas gift for someone through one of the donation programs too.)
There's a $5 coupon for the Tinker Bell from Target

$22.99 - $10 - $5 = $7.99
Where is this coupon at? I didn't see it on their website and since I work there this will make this cheaper for me.

Check DVDTalk. they have the coupon scan. That must be in paper size (8.5" x 11").

I just tried a print from that jpeg linked in their forum. It's blurry as hell, esp. for the barcode. I could use a better scan- I doubt I could get that to pass even a permissive checker's scrutiny.

This has been beaten to death already, when you pick up the movie (since you already paid $10) for it, you should subtract $10 from the rest of the total as in the above. Inessence, you paid $10 for the giftcard, got TB 2 preorders and a watch fro free/tax.

Again, that was for the day of picking up the game, considerig your initial investment of $10 a sunk cost or if you really want to get cute (I am not emphasizing this in any sort of way) you can def return the 2 preorders, hence making this transaction completely free.

Well, my 2 year old daughter is really looking forward to the movie, and she has no idea she is going to get a watch out of it as well. That's my excuse and I am sticking to it.
