Ok. I hadn't seen that original post argyle. Thanks though.

I think I'll try for Casino Royale and Talladega Nights (guilty pleasure)

I was able to purchase Happy Feet, Monster House, Ant Bully, and Open Season @ CC for $60. This was after an experienced cashier noticed what I was buying and informed the other cashier that my items were part of a promo and the items needed to be marked down.

Broke down and ordered 4 more from amazon, since i needed to buy a PS3 BluRay remote since i now have all these damn movies to watch on it.

PotC: DMC
PotC: CotBP
The Prestige
Bridge to Terabithia

Now ive bought a total of 31 Movies this week alone 26 of which are all BR. god my wallet is gonna hurt.

Wow, and I thought my *counts on fingers & toes* 12 or so was excessive. :p Now I just hafta find time to watch them all.

wow, that's the same thing i'm gonna get... a dent in the wallet, but hey, you got the HD version of the movie at dvd prices, how can you go wrong?

12.23 for a Blu ray thats 30 at best buy, there is no beating it. Those 4 are also the seem to be the best rated of all the disney movies on BOGO as well. Now i just need time to watch 31 new movies.

every suncoast I call says that it's Disney only. how are you guys getting movies from other companies?

also, every FYE I call says that it's Suncoast doing the sale. I am going to have to assume I have some crappy stores here.

Most stores dont know how to run their own deals. The prices are in the computers, best way is to scan it and find out. The stores I go to all had signage saying "50% off all Sony Blu-Ray Discs".

Like I mentioned above, I saw the employee taking down all the 50% off stickers and the computers rang up full price. This might be over.

You can get Blu-Rays for $9.99 in the States!?

The CHEAPEST I've seen ANY Blu-Ray movie here in Japan is $25.

And it was USED.

It took 2 cashiers and a third key/asst. manager but I got:

Casino Royale
The Prestige
POTC 1
POTC 2

for $60 plus tax. If you're having problems, the BB.com website has most of the movies listed in the OP under the discounted ones at CC so just say you're price matching that.
Bestbuy has 2 for $30 deal going on for some blueray movies. I got Hellboy and Fifth Elements for $30.
They must not have taken the signage down from last week. As they were 15 then. When I went in mine yesterday to pick up the new Soilwork CD and a couple others, I took a gander at the blu ray rack and the same movies last week that had the 15 dollar sale signs now say 25 bucks...
They must not have taken the signage down from last week.
it's advertised in this week's ad.
This link dumps me to their home page. Don't see this sale when I manually browse the Movies.
Ditto

The sale is there. Just go to movies, click on HD-DVD, click on the blu ray tab, and it should appear at the top of the screen.

this does work..found it.

Try this it should take you right to it. not a bad deal for purchase in store. Its the closest ive seen to amazons prices but with tax of course.

SpiderMan Trilogy Blu-Ray was shipped to me today by DDD. Their price is $67.92, but I didn't notice Amazon dropped theirs to $64.95. Doh. >_<

So far, DDD's Blade Runner Collector's is still a little cheaper than Amazon, but I better pay more attention next time. :p

hey guys, is the walmart deal 2 for 25 good for online only? cuz i came into walmart and the cashier had no clue and she ask her supervisor and he said you gotta purchase online.... what evidence do i need to show this supervisor guy?

I still need to preorder Blade Runner. Though I've no idea what to get it on, BR or HD DVD. Any suggestions?

Goes down to which side you want to support.

I say BD, but it's obvious why.

Are you going to get the regular or briefcase edition?
I believe FamilyVideo has the best price on for the trilogy.
High $50s for it.
bn.com code around somewhere for 50% off anything for members - if you have a membership that makes spidey like 30ish.

Whats this "regular edition" which you speak of? ;)

Anyone know if there is any difference in HD DVD and Blu Ray Harry Potter discs coming out? I would much rather get it on Blu Ray; however I don't want to miss out on extra features as on 300.

As a side note.... I am still on my Amazon Prime trial, if I pre-order now, but they don't ship until after my trial expires, will I still be able to get the free 2 day shipping?

Thanks for that man! Was the cheapest price I found as well, so I pre-ordered Thursday or Friday! Appreciate the info!!! :)

I don't believe there is a difference, as I haven't heard of any. That said, despite having both "players" with a PS3 and 2 Xbox 360 HD-DVD drives... I went HD-DVD. Why? Mainly because my Blu-Ray collection started strong with both Pirates movies, Casino Royale, Rocky Balboa, and many others. I see this as a chance to even up the collections with HP 1-5, and Ocean's 11-13. ;)

Picked up Spidey Trilogy at FYE with welcomeccten coupon code and my 10 virtual gift card (from one of their $7 MIRs) for $53 shipped. Not sure if its a great deal but it beats amazon and DDD.

I was gonna do the same thing but I will have two virtual gift cards. Anyone know if they stack?

I found the link and the op should say for Disney titles. And the whole deal is pretty much a sham because any movie anyone would want is in the second column.

see if your local CC or BB will price match. Mine will and lets me mix and match whatever.
is the walmart deal dead? I cant find it with any of the links or searching on my own on walmart.com
just google the phrase "2 for $25 walmart", brings it up real fast.

I ordered all the remastered Kubrick films (A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, 2001 Space Odessy, Eyes Wide Shut) last night for $14.99 ea from Warner Brothers. I used the 25% off code since each one is 19.99 retail.

Not a bad deal if anyone is looking to pick up the Kubrick Films, also had free shipping over $50 but i had to pay tax so it was $80 out the door.
