So...as a direct result of hanging out with my Germany-bound (and unfortunately engaged) friend, I may be coming down with either mono or strep throat.

I know for a fact it could be either; there was definitely physical contact, and we did share a drink at a party.

This could be a very sucky week.
my bad. I thought you said batman begins.
Well that one's great too, gahh I have the image of a harlequin fetus stuck in my head.

It just works on so many levels.

Ouch, that sucks. I had mono, and it sucked.

Right now I suppose I have a cold of sorts is all, but it sure seems like strep throat (which i used to get bi-monthly, damnit).

Also, turns out City Hall is open until 5, so I'm going over after school tomorrow. Not sure if I should pay extra to rush it though. Trip is in almost exactly two months, and they say 4-6 weeks. Are government estimates to be trusted?

I dislocated my pinky over the weekend playing basketball. I fell on my hand and when I looked down, I saw my pinky was bent at a 45 degree angle. I almost instinctively pulled it back into place. It didn't really hurt but I went to the ER anyway to have it checked out. Apparently everything is fine but the doctor had me wear a brace for 2 weeks. Typing is so annoying now.

Unfortunately, I didn't make the basket so I didn't pull a Homer...

For the second time in a row, Papa Gino's screwed up my order. I ordered a steak and cheese sub, but somehow ended up with chicken cesar salad. Not only that but it took them 15 minutes to prepare. It's a fucking salad.

This happened to me a year ago with my left thumb, 'cept I refused to see a doctor. The pain was unbearable when it first happened and my hand got huge, damn inmature high school kids, "how did that happen huh!?!?!".

I'd have to wonder the inteligence of the guy that put it together to make that big of a mistake, or maybe it was the wrong order. Call and complain if you haven't already.

I got nothing against salad, but if I wanted a salad I'd order it. The funny thing is it was the second time my order was messed up that day. For lunch I ordered a hot dog and a pretzel but ended with a hot dog and a soda instead.

Note to subby, MT is going to be on House tomorrow. Not that I'll think you'll watch but just so you know to dl it ;)
The tv show, and the movie too I suppose.
I think all the Batman animated stuff is the best of it (except as maybe as a comic). Both Beyond and the regular show just work so well it seems. Probably because animation best captures the enemies...

When I sprained my finger, I didn't go to the doctor. Then again, I probably should have considering how big my finger got.
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker is the crown jewel of DC animation. Love that movie.
You're damn right it is. Great movie, animated or not.

The Batman cartoons were good, but I'm still a fan of Justice League. What can I say? I like the Green Lantern. :)

It's probably too late now, but I'd complain. There's a potential for free or discounted food there, and who can turn down that?

Also on PA, SePOOHroth?

Sub, DC, anyone with Naruto: GNT 4...

If you've seen both the subbed and dubbed episodes, do you prefer the import since the moves/language is probably mostly japanese or would you rather have a stateside release with the english voice actors?

I prefer the import because it's not out here and I'd prefer the domestic release because it'd be cheaper. The dubbed episodes are pretty good, though.

Figures I'm sick today when I have a French test coming up. =\

On the plus side, though, I get to catch up on some DVDs and games.

I've also discovered that if you push the bottom down on an Altoids Gum tin, you can fit 10 DS games comfortably in there. Nifty.

Sorry I can't help you. I've never seen the english dubbed Naruto episodes.
fucking writers block. Took me like 20 mins to write 3 sentences to finish my companies analysis.
You should probably proofread it. :D

Company's, companies' or prehaps even companies could all be correct in the proper context.

I finished my company's analysis. (singular, you belong to or own the company)
I finished my companies' analysis (plural, you own or belong to the companies.)
I finished my companies analysis (You had a paper that required you do an analysis of multiple companies.)

Of course, the censor bypass is quite notable as well. :D
the problem with blocking people, is that ignoring problems doesnt make problems go away. Like ignoring Jack Thompson.
I haven't been keeping up, what did he do this time?
Jack Thompson? nothing. I was just referencing him as an example for why I dont block people on the forums, generally.
You got my hopes up  In a strange kinda way, I like hearing about JT's boobery.

Eh, he came out with an R&B CD...

Just beat episode 3 of Phoenix Wright.

Great game.

I had to think a lot more on this episode, though. Which made me glad, since the first episode made me think I'd get walked through the whole game.

That lawyer game for the DS?

Is it sweet because its a good game or just because its orignal?

I kinda wanted to play it butt couldnt find it or just stop caring.

dude, its not even funny. For some reason I was spelling write as wright but it was probably because I was looking at a phoenix wright thread.
I can't wait to see how South Park sticks it to family guy this week
What do you mean? Are they going to make fun of them on the south park?

Once you reach the 5th case you won't have to worry about hand holding. It puts more of a focus and searching for and handling evidence. I think that one case took me longer to beat than the first three combined.
Looks like it's being reprinted, so availability should no longer be a concern.
Any date on that? Looking to pick it up....

^ I think it already happened and its hard to find again.

i need to start playing it again and finish the last chapter so that I can sell it.
Any date on that? Looking to pick it up....
Should already be available on a variety of sites. Shows on lik-sang, for example, but for 50 shipped free. Ncsx.com shows $35, dunno what shipping would be.

I doubt you'd find it B&M.

$8 for shipping from NCSX. I won't pay more than $35 for it, so I guess I'll have to make some deals here or on ebay....

I'll let you know if I put it on for sale. I want to pass it but I don't know if I really feel like playing it anymore.

So.

Day 2 of trying to obtain my passport.

Go to City Hall, lady tells me I actually have to be at the County building.

Go there.

Find court of the clerk.

Find application papers.

Find out that it will actually be eight weeks to get the passport (and I'll be leaving in less than that).

Forced to rush the passport for sixty dollars.

But, of course, I was there at 4:30, and they close at 5, and I had to go get two $14.40 cent stamps from the PO to give them to rush it.

So... I have to fill out my papers tonight and go and give it all to them tomorrow.

Ugh.
Just got approved for my apartment. Moving-in in about a month. Now to start getting that plan ready for a house afterwards...
Congrats. :)

I spent an hour on ONE FREAKING CALCULUS PROBLEM today, and only solved it because one of the GSIs for the class e-mailed me a version of the solution. Sometimes, I hate college.

Also - falling for one of your friends who's engaged? BAD IDEA. Even if nothing happens (hasn't so far, and I'm going to make absolutely sure that it doesn't), it leads to much unnecessary suffering.

At one point, I was thinking that college would somehow make all of this emotional garbage easier. Thanks for proving me wrong, life!

(Apologies for turning CAG into LiveJournal with more video games.)

...and its for all THOSE reasons I wish I was going to college. Sit, I can teach myself almost anything (Damn Japanese) but its those fucked relationships that were just too fun.
