I went to Target today and found Polarium for 7.48. I knew it was on clearance, but called a week ago and they said they didn't have it. Well... there it was, so I bought it. Fun game, but I'm glad I didn't pay more than $10 for it.

And never trust a sales person. I went to bestbuy looking for RE: Outbreak since it was clearanced out. Asked the sales person, he did his fake checking the computer thing and told me they had none. I browsed the aisles a for a little while after and found it.

You forget, Nintendo's business strategy is Japan first. They're still trying to figure out how to get enough systems for Japan let alone worrying about an American release.
Personally, I was really excited for the DS Lite and planned on getting one because I sold my old DS a while ago and had been thinking of getting a new one. The more time that goes by though, the less I want one again.

Tomb Raider demo finished downloading. It only took 4 and a half hours, for some mystical reason.
Hopefully it doesn't suck cock like the other Tomb Raider games and (presumably) the movies. The game trailer reminded me of Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, which a Best Buy employee once told me (four years ago) was going to be released as a film shorty after the game released (four years ago).

Moving along, I'm finally playing through the single-player portion of Subsistence and it's very cool, though I've played 30 minutes of actual gameplay and watched about an hour of cinematics and shit. It's pretty good, anyways. My only beef with it right now is that I'm guessing that I have to play through the single-player to unlock more Snake vs. Ape missions.

With every passing day, I'm less and less likely to buy a DS Lite -- when I wanted a DS the annoucement came about the Lite and I was psyched. Now all this time and no release date. If they'd say, "we're releasing them with NSMB on 5/21" I'd probably pysch myself up to buy one. At this rate though, Nintendo is steadily losing my interest. Hell, I have about 50 games in my PS2/GCN backlog that I haven't touched in months because of grad school so the last thing I really need is a new system and then all the games I'd force myself to buy (NSMB, MP:H, MKDS, Castlevania, Trauma Center, Phoenix Wright, etc.).
oh well, time to catch the south park i missed.

Sooo... been awhile since I posted in the OTT.
Well, last week, my shithole apartment literally turned into a shithole due to the building (8 3 bedroom apartments) sewage line getting backed up... and since the manager felt it wasn't necessary to notify the upstair apartmens (4 of the 8 apartments), the 4 bottom apartments got flooded with their sewage waste.
The solution: kick us out of their office, tell us it's our fault for not moving our furniture, wait a full 14 hours before doing anything, then not replace the seage carpet and just 'clean the carpets'. Leaving us to clean our tiled floors and bathtubs (which happened to have human waste in it). this ing apartment complex.
Oh and this week Jonathan got jumped and his MP3 player stolen. It being midnight and them being 4 of them they got away with it. Though he came home unscathed (except when he punched his fist through the wall and hurt his knuckles).
I want to move so bad, but I am finishing up my last month of my last semester and it's just so bleh bleh.

Wow, that sucks. Hopefully you can get out of there ASAP. I don't see how they can just not help in the clean-up since it's their apartment that's getting damaged from things you had no control of. Hell, it should be their fault for not notifying the apartments ustairs of the problem, as it causes a huge problem for the people living in both floors. Good luck with that.

A DS is tempting, but I've still got PS2, PC, GBA, and even N64 and DC backlogs to work through. That, and it's hard to play Guitar Hero and DDR with a DS.
Since I can't access wireless networks from my room (they're technically illegal in this dorm), I think I'll be buying myself a PS2 before next year. Even though I won't be able to use it much, Ratchet and Clank is calling to me again.

A DS is tempting, but I've still got PS2, PC, GBA, and even N64 and DC backlogs to work through. That, and it's hard to play Guitar Hero and DDR with a DS.
Since I can't access wireless networks from my room (they're technically illegal in this dorm), I think I'll be buying myself a PS2 before next year. Even though I won't be able to use it much, Ratchet and Clank is calling to me again.

Family Guy is probably just CN picking up the syndication rights to the newer episodes which premiered on Fox.
However, I'm left wondering how the likes of Squidbillies, 12 oz. Mouse, and Tom Goes to the Mayor got re-upped. Although I'm sure those shows have fans (more than I could've imagined, apparently), I'm really not a fan.

Tom goes to the Mayor has a certain animated Kids in the Hall feel to it, so I actually enjoy that one... but I cant even explain why the other 2 even exist
