I think that only works if you're constantly drunk.
Who isn't?

with all that extra socialization that happens in college, it certainly CAUSES a lot more of that emotional drama to happen.

I certainly cant say it makes it any easier just because now they're more of it.
I think that only works if you're constantly drunk.
I've had a whopping one beer since August.

Maybe I should give that a shot. After all, it seems to work well for everyone who lives on Central Campus...:whistle2:k

(A) I spent an hour on ONE FREAKING CALCULUS PROBLEM today, and only solved it because one of the GSIs for the class e-mailed me a version of the solution. Sometimes, I hate college.

(B) Also - falling for one of your friends who's engaged? BAD IDEA. Even if nothing happens (hasn't so far, and I'm going to make absolutely sure that it doesn't), it leads to much unnecessary suffering.

(C) At one point, I was thinking that college would somehow make all of this emotional garbage easier. Thanks for proving me wrong, life!

(D) (Apologies for turning CAG into LiveJournal with more video games.)
(A) Diff Eq used to get me like that ... and some of the Calc II problems as well.

(B) True. Very true. I have a tendency to do this as well and then I get all uber pissy because the woman I desire is off the market so I have no chance. The one time I did have a chance, I missed it because I was too polite. Curses!

(C) College sucks. Except for the ability to occasionally be unbelievably irresponsible.

(D) Don't worry about it, boss. :)
That lawyer game for the DS?

Is it sweet because its a good game or just because its orignal?

I kinda wanted to play it butt couldnt find it or just stop caring.
It's genuinely entertaining and they do occasionally make you think hard about contradictions in testimonies and which evidence applies.

not to mention, the witnesses are all hilarious. Only problem is there is zero replay value.

So it seems that if I'm not mistaken, only 2 of my 114 game collection are developed(not published) by Western developers.

Eternal Darkness (Silicon Knights)
Guitar Hero (RedOctane)

That's...frightening, almost.

I mean, how are you on CAG with a collection of 114 games? FOR SHAME - that number should be doubled, easily. ;)

fortunately, I have a very narrow taste in video games. probably 95% of my collection are RPG and Survival Horror.

I have enough trouble even playing all the good games from just those two genres.

And most my previous gen stuff was unknowingly given away when I went away to college. I've never gone back and rebought all of it. D:

Not true. It really depends on the person. I'm halfway through the fourth case on my second run through, despite having beaten back in Dec, and I'm still loving it. And it's not for a lack of games either. I have nearly 20 DS titles.

This just means several things:

1.) You need to buy more pc games.
2.) You need to go and buy a copy of Burnout
3.) You need to go and buy Beyond Good and Evil then flog yourself for not having done so earlier.
4.) You need to go buy a copy of Metroid Prime.

Well the thing is, I'm probably mistaken. I'm not intimately familiar with absolutely every single one of the developers for every game I have. So most likely I've missed a few.

I DO however need to get Beyond Good & Evil. I keep forgetting about that.

I generally dont like PC games, racing games, platformers or games with first person aiming perspectives.

I hope you can download whatever thing Nintendo used to retro-fit Metroid Prime to the Rev controller.

I'm still playing Resident Evil. And I'm now showing a not unnatural fear of knights, and their swords (and scissorheads).

I'm going to be awake when we hit that magical moment.

Unfortunately, it's probably going to be one of those seconds that's not memorable at all in life. Oh well...

Edit: Just in case someone hasn't watched it. . .

Michelle Trachtenberg has ticks in her vagina. Leave it to Dr. House.

Taken out of context, that sounds downright creepy.

Where's Sub when we need him? :)

Hey, I didn't know there was going to be an Omen remake released this year.

And its being released on June 6!

I couldn't tell you...but I CAN tell you that no patients died tonight in the new episode of Scrubs. Oh, happy ending!

I'm sure they were up there, but there's no way to tell without pc check.

In tonight's episode of House, in the final scene, can anyone confirm or deny:

When Wilson tells House not to sit in that "exact" spot (cos he peed there) and then House sat on Wilson's pillow...did House fart on it? I could've sworn I heard a muffled "brrpt."

Because I'm a sick bastard with nothing else to do at 3am...

Nope, just tried and couldn't get it to work either.

I thought Microeconomics was harder than Macro...

Also, my instructor (Asian guy) sounded exactly like Aku off of Samurai Jack. I had a great time imitating him, as I could imitate Aku. Aku talking about the nation's gross domestic product and economical sovranty always gets a couple of laughs.

Same here, the pages load, they let me select themes, but when I click install it doesn't kick off the install process, instead asking me what I want to do with the .jar file. The .jar file won't open, either. Sadness.

Edit:

I'm still testing, but it looks like you can save the .jar file to your hard drive (say on your desktop, for example). Once you save the jar file to your hard drive, open up the themes window of Firefox (Tools > Themes). Drag and drop the .jar file into the themes list. You'll be asked if you want to install -- say yes. Bam, your theme is good to go... you can then delete the .jar file, I believe, but I'm still testing that part.

Edit 2:

Yup, everything tested out just fine, now I just need to delete and ensure that works correctly.

Found my Micro. It was missing for nearly two weeks. I searched my apartment, gf's room, office, gf's car, and my car twice.

Then it's in my car just behind the passenger seat.

I have no idea how I missed it both times previously.

Why is it that you find stuff only when you aren't actively looking for it? She just found her copy of Warioware Twisted, which was missing for at LEAST 4-5 months, and which she had mostly blamed me for. It was in her camera case, meaning there's no way I could have put it there.

If I run across one somewhere, you will be notified.

When I lose something, and I know for sure where I left it, I'll just search the same place over and over again until it decides to show up there.
When I lose something, and I know for sure where I left it, I'll just search the same place over and over again until it decides to show up there.
I used to imagine, as a kid, that everything I lost ended up in the same place. It was a park bench in the middle of a field of long green grass, which wooden slats in between two rusted gold ends. A tall street light hung overhead, glowing down upon it, and fireflies busily swirled in the luminesence. A large tree grew just to the right of the bench (if you were looking at it from the front), with one large branch gently arching overhead. Stars shone in the sky, which is a deep blue color, and faint remnants of sunlight appear on the horizon. A large, full moon sleeps directly above.

On the bench, and around it in the grass on the ground, was everything I'd ever lost. Hot wheels, a few video games (namely, Rad Racer), various clothes, and other trinkets I'd gathered as a child.

One day I'm going to find this bench, I swear.
What the hell does QFT mean?
Either "quoted for truth" or "quit fucking talking."

CAGs seem to use it for the former. I don't think I've seen an instance where the latter was the intented.

Its internet shorthand for the past tense of 'to pussy fart'

Quif -> Quift -> QFT

Common usage is for when someone says something that you think is good.

I just cram the night before the test and it works for me, I got a 20/20 on my micro test today.

WTF! My analog nub just broke off. And I just had my psp replaced a few weeks ago. Its a good thing I don't actually play games on this thing otherwise I'd be pissed.
