I got an orange really early and it sucks. It is called the emperor and the text says "You know for him". It doesn't have shock, so I know it isn't a star wars reference.
 
Hell yeah, I love my pearl tsunami smg in bl1. I'm sure they'll add them again in future dlc.

I'm up to 5 legendary weapons now. Sucks since they don't do shit for damage on vault hunter mode. I wish the claptrap bank stored more than four items. I'll be passing them all off on my other characters once they hit lvl 22 or so.
 
Okay, so the keys are active for 3 hours. Does this mean that they can be redeemed by an unlimited number of people, but only for those 3 hours, or is it still limited in number of redemptions?

The tsunami was my jam too!
 
The in game loading screen notes are really helpful. A few things I've learned:

To remember the rarity scale, they gave us a handy mnemonic device. When Grandma Burps, Patrick Obeys. White Green Blue Purple Orange.

Another thing I learned, because I didn't read it at the shop screen, is that you can sell all your junk items at once when you're at the shop by clicking the L stick. I had just been marking faves to keep and trash to sell, but selling each one individually.

oh, I didnt know about the sell all junk option, very nice to know. I also would mark them and sell each on individually. Thanks!

I told my friend this and they were like wait what!? lol
 
Is there any ryme or reason to the weapon values when you sell them? I have a gun that is worth a lot, but I don't understand why. I used it on the range and my lower priced weapons do more damage and are ore accurate.

I know what you are saying - I've had several green, non-elemental assault rifles that were weirdly high values but weren't anything special. Not sure why though.

I had quite a scare today. I turned on my 360 10 minutes before 6 to be ready for the code...no picture at all but the sound played..went to see if something was loose and there wasn't...unplugged everything and tried another tv..still nothing. I prayed it was the cables and not my 360 going bad. Rushed to Gamestop and bought another set and thankfully that did the trick.
 
Tonite at BB I got the borderlands 2 claptrap standee! I asked about it and the cool kid that knows me told me I could have it. He was told to break it down anyway!

Thanks Daz..since I have 10 keys I decided to use a couple of them..first one was a grenade mod...it was more powerful then what I was using, but still, its a grenade mod:(

got a sweet assault rife and shotgun on the second go around so that more then made up for it.

Did you try them out? What were they named? They could've been grenade launchers.
 
Just got home from work 20 minutes ago -- Xbox beta dashboard prompted me to download an update... and still it downloads. Totally screwed me out of a golden key.
 
Shitty. As soon as I downloaded mine it kicked me off of live and prompted to dl.

I think mechromancer is awesome and all but that twitter handle they made for her is pretty fucking corny.
 
I got my last achievement this morning, So Much Blood!, for 1000g. I guess I'm done until Gaige comes out. I won't get the DLC until there's a deal on the season pass.
 
I'm surprised that there's no incentive for the season pass besides the slight discount. Would have been cool to have exclusive skins/heads/weapons.

The game gets pretty tough and serious once you hit play through 2.5. I'm really enjoying it and boosting up my friends to 50.

It's not just a "slight" discount. It's 25%. It's like buying 3 and getting the 4th free.
 
Bleh, I'm level 38, stuck on the Dam Rescue or whatever mission where you have to rescue Roland, but I can't seem to find anything good upgrades for guns, and every group I find just wants to ride around in vehicles for hours. If anyone's bored and wants to help a brotha, Opterasis on XBL
