Borderlands 2 - Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep - 6/25 - 800 pts.

Just solo'd the main boss on UVHM to complete my second playthrough. Picked up all the good loot, which was nothing special. I decide to double check to make sure I didn't miss anything and there is was, a lvl 50 conference call!! Goddamn I'm glad I went back to check.

All I need is the lvl 50 bee shield and I'll be set! What exactly is the quest name for that? I know where the guy is just cant remember if I needed to complete a quest to get to him.

Edit- never mind I guess I'm already able to fight him. The farming begins. Anyone know if they patched this? I go to where hunter hellquist(?) should be, I've killed him once so far, every time I go back now he is no longer there to farm.

Derp* I needed to turn the quest in first. haha and I get the bee shield my second time back. Time to fuck some shit up!

Stupid question. I have been doing the side quests as I get them before moving along in the main story. I am finding they are getting too easy (I am level 23 but most of the guys I face are level 18-21). If I just complete the main story will the side quest re-level? I know I can start over but I kind of want to get some achievements out of the way. I am probably doing this wrong. :)

They wont level on your first playthrough. Side quests will all scale after your second though.

I'm going back and finishing all the side quests I didn't do and no, they don't scale. I imagine TVHM does though, but I'm trying to get as much XP as possible before jumping up.
 
Used 10 keys at level 50 not one orange item or anything worth keeping. Sold everything =[

Shift still down. Can't use the current key code he posted
 
They've said the highest you can get out of the gold key chest is purple. Orange are only rare drops.

Anyways tried out that conference call/bee shield combo on terra. Holy shit overpowered!! He was dead in 10 seconds.

I have a decent shotgun with a level 47 bee shield I came close so many times to killing tera but than he/she will do that hard push and kill me instantly.
 
Long story short. I trade you weapons, you save and quit. Rejoin game hand them back and then you exit without saving and quitting.
 
Thanks. I was aware of a few of the steps, but not all of them.

Wouldn't it be faster if you jumped into my game, dropped the weapons and then exit via dash? Would that work or am I skipping steps there?

Hrm maybe. I haven't duped on BL2 before I don't see why as long as I don't save and quit.


Well I'm gonna keep trying to solo Terra while I wait.
 
Yeah all we need to do is get away from a save point. The person receiving the items hosts, well actually the giver can't be host, thats the important thing. Anyways I'll drop the items and quit straight to the dashboard. You then pick up everything once I'm completely out, everyone in game needs to just stand completely still until Im out. You dont want to trigger a auto save accidentally. Easy peasy

I should be on soon here, just waiting for the wife to finish her show.

Btw I also have the legendary terra class mod drops for the assassin and gunzerker i can drop. I have a few other lower level legendaries.
 
Well I just beat Hyperius and Gee on someone else's game, then returned to mine and finished the last story quest, and come to find out that they didn't count toward my own game. It didn't give me the "Would you like to skip content that you completed in another player's game" notice, it just gave me the Hyperius sidequest. FML.

ETA: Ahhh, I wonder if this was because the host of the game was on TVHM and my character was set to Normal. I wonder if those sidequests will only count toward my character on TVHM.
 
Thanks! Got in too. Up to 2 keys now after having 6 or 8 from launch/Twitter. Hopefully I can get a few more (and I'll try to be responsible with'em this time!).

Still can't connect to Shift to enter the code...

Did complete the DLC cheevs with some cool people from X360A though. :D And leveled my Mechromancer from 23 to 40 in the process.

If you're still feeling generous, I would love the CC and Bee. Love my lvl 29 versions at lvl 39, can't imagine once I get to 50.. I'll be jonesing hardcore. haha
 
Does anyone know if Gearbox has said anything officially about fixing some of the bugs/glitches? I just got hit with the Badass Rank reset :wall: also lost one Golden Key (thankfully had used some last week).

I just got Terra to drop a head for the first time the other day. It was the one I wanted (commando), but I've probably killed him 70+ times prior to that.

I got hit with the reset last week and tweeted Pitchford my displeasure, his reply:

But no, as far as I know they've never said anything through official channels.

I've kept on playing despite that and backing up my save after every session. I lost about 8 keys. I used the two they put up last night just in case they reset again. Got a couple kickass shields, and pistols.
 
Sweet - code just worked for me!

I found a random orange last night that was a pleasant surprise. Playing maya on tvhm and fighting Midgemong. It was in the old car trunk in the room where Midgemong comes out of - where there are vending machines and two badasses. Hellfire! I typically run with a nicely scoped good touch/bad touch but this gun is nice! Especially with my +smg damage class mod.

Also got some health of terra thing which adds health regen in the artifact part and still no head skin.

You get it from dj hunter hellquist in arid nexus boneyard. I can't remember the quest name off hand. It's best to wait until you complete your second playthrough so it'll be lvl50 but you can get it anytime after you get that quest.

Ok the mission name is "this just in"
 
I just noticed above terra is a vault symbol. I'm guessing you have to wait until it spawns and you stand under it to pop you up.
