Borderlands CAG Co-op

I'm likely trading in a buncha stuff today. One game is going to FYE(guess which one;)) for $11 in cash, while five are going to BB for about $72 in credit.:D

Thanks for reviving me so much during the game the other night, KingKoopa. I know that musta been a major league pita to have to keep coming back to find me and revive me, especially after you just revived me a minute or two earlier.:lol:
 
It was no biggie, I like to hang back and pick people off with my sniper rifle. Its not like you were far away.

If the Bordlerlands GOTY is in good shape/complete and not in the ugly red case i'll take it. How much you want?

I have the digital version and would like to add this to my collection.
 
I was thinking of like $15 shipped honestly. I had it up on my TL on here for a few days at $17 shipped and no bites.:razz: I figured with the second one coming in about two weeks or so that someone would want the good GOTY edition with the content on disc for about half off the new price.

Unfortunately I only take USPS MO's and only ship to the continental US as of now. No Paypal(fees:bomb:) or any other electronic payments.:whistle2:#

I guess I'm just stubborn like that.;)
 
I've never used that, how bout I just ship you $15 in a UPS envelope with tracking#

My work allows me to ship stuff out all the time.

I think I can put a return shipping label in there as well so you might not have to pay for shipping at all.
 
If you wanna do it that way, that's fine. I've been having people ship me pre-paid shipping labels either attached to a mailer or not for a while now. At least then it allows them to control their shipping costs, which albeit would be about $3 for sending this first class mail via the postal service. It's actually like $2.40-2.50 something if I remember correctly.

Like I said though, I've been having people sending me pre-paid mailers for a while to ship stuff to them from on here. It saves me some time and then I don't have to hear them bitch about how I paid $.80 for Delivery Confirmation when I could just use Paypal(used them twice and my account has sat collecting dust since then;)) and pay $.19 or whatever.:lol:
 
Alright cool. Glad to see the disc version of this game going to a fellow CAG instead of some store that would likely mark it back up to almost full price.:whistle2:#
 
ok so i played with a cag, the_enemy, and i got infected.
my last save was 3 days ago with level 19, so im gonna try to get level 50 and then just start 2nd playthrough cuz i think that resets all missions. i just have kyii so yeah.
if you guys still wanna do that moxxxi later, i guess you could backup your save through cloud or usb and we could get the moxxxi trophies and then you could restore your backup. you won't really lose anything cuz we dont get any weapons or xp for beating the arenas, just a trophy. but whatev.

Sorry to hear you got the messed up file now, Velo. About the only way I was considering keeping my copy of the game to play through again would've been if I used WT and edited my save to max everything out that you can max out and give myself some insane weapons that'd shred enemies with no effort.:D

bumslie host, and getting$ and i try to kill the boss before he leaves the curtains even, then we leave his minions til the countdown is over and next wave begins, then kill them all, then next round begins. let's do it later?

yeah it sucks but its just a mission quest error, but still it should fix if i restore my level 19 character or i think it will reset all quests when i go to playthrough 2, but still, i should have backed up my save before joining his game. my bad.

I will host again. Can you explain how your file got infected? Will this affect anybody else's files?

If you want I can fix the quest with WillowTree. Just PM me if you do and the quest actually will not affect anything but giving you too fr message when playing online sometimes.

I'm down to do it legit since you and Velo just go on a killing spree. I just try to some kills but I know the enemies are higher leveled. Count me in on not doing the skipping rounds.

I don't want my file to be glitched/infected from anything that might compromise it.

If you use your backup file can't you just hop in a game with a higher level to get exp that way?

I was thinking of doing the Zombie DLC since they die easy with fire and my sniper rifle has x4 on it. Plus stack that with our +28 and 21 exp.
 
yeah ill just use my backup file. i like the challenge anyway and ill level up with you guys.
yeah and i wont skip rounds its no big deal.
 
I'm down to start the zombie dlc tonight if anyone else is game. I started my second play through yesterday and am about done with fyrestone, gonna be a long grind. I also started the Knoxx dlc (pt1), I'm only a few mission into it so if anyone would rather do that dlc just let me know.
 
I can go for the Knoxx DLC, doesn't matter to me.

Wasn't able to get the trophy for that since I joined a glitched game a year ago.
 
Right on, like I said, I've only just scratched the surface. I think I did 2 or 3 missions in the first town. I really hate that gearbox didn't add fast traveling to all the dlc. Zombie island was the worst for it IMO, so much running back and forth. Especially the braaains missions.

I'll probably respec my Lilith and give her the xp bonus and use her Phoenix skill for zombie island.
 
Right, I was glad they added vehicles to Knoxx, but it almost felt like they added all the long ass roads just to expand the play time.

I had trouble with bobble-heads and oil cans. Must have got 30 pizza, 80 panties, 60 3d glasses while trying. What I ended up doing is at the end of Clap Trap DLC:
Hide behind the bus from laser, while kamikaze traps spawn infinitely.
It took a long time, but I still think it was faster than dump runs. Could go 15 dump runs with no drop (other than panties)

The Knoxx DLC is awesome for leveling up. It really prepared me for PT2, nice drops too.
 
i finished up zombie dlc except braaaaains trophy.
i want to start up playthrough 2, but i need to finish all my new haven missions first i think before trying whole campaign again.

brodaz how did you start up your playthrough 2 but start knoxx pt1? does it give you a choice? i was hesitant to start playthrough 2 cuz i thought it would force a pt2 on all dlc. idk

i really want to start my playthrough 2 asap tho cuz then it will erase and clean my kyii mission glitch.

yeah brodaz, i messed up that zombie island tho. the last quest i found was tk's brains. ugh. so now i have to do all brains.
i ran phoenix, but damn, it gives major lag slowdown, but fire eats those zombies right up.
fire isnt really the best tho, cuz you don't get brains if the fire kills them, for that you need lethal headshots.

also iv been reading that claptrap collectibles are hellish torture. comparable to moxxxi torture. damn borderlands dlc trophies hate us.

i really don't want to glitch myself out of the moxxxi dlc trophies either. iv heard you have to join the same host and same playthrough same character etc, so i dont know. i joined a game and got the gully 20 rounds trophy, but then i went and did all the small tournaments with bumslie and gettinmoney. i dont know if im better off going to playthrough 2 so my quest logs will be clean and joining them at moxxxi or if i should load up my level 19 and do the larger tournaments with them, altho i wouldnt have beaten the smaller tournaments with that character. idk. ugh. i might just have to redo all the moxxxi dlc solo cuz i dont want it to glitch others.

Yeah after you start pt2 it'll give you a choice between which pt you want to start up. It'll save everything from both pt's so you can bounce back and forth.

I also did the brains mission last, that shit was painful.

Do you want to do the Gully arena again with us then? I don't think the smaller tournaments is going to affect any trophy. The trophy that gets glitched is the one for doing all three larger arenas. So I guess what we can do is do the two larger arenas that you haven't done and if the trophy for doing all three doesn't pop, we can try doing the Gully one again.
 
I'd be happy to jump into a party if possible. Just downloading it from PS+ now so I'm at the very beginning (after beating it last year on XBL). PSN: fuze9

Still debating whether or not to download the DLC.
 
my son is really sick and so him and i are taking turns playing, lol. i think my best chance would be to just try to do them solo with low level split screen trick. i think i gotta do all 6 again tho. sorry guys
 
Started playthrough 2, played some Knoxx and Zombie DLC but decided I want to do the story til we get together on the DLC.

At 42-43 now. Went right to the Lost Caves and farmed. Was getting 2000+ exp each for killing those crabs/lobster things. Got some artifacts for the hunter and berserker.

Also picked up some weapons that sold for 2,000,000+

Just remember PS+ members if you buy the DLC and let your subscription lapse you will have to buy Borderlands to play the DLC or re-subscribe.

I have but I just stick to the Sniper Rifle. I usually sell the other weapons unless they are really sweet.

Dumped some off to Daz, Velo, and Cheapest when he had the game.

I'm having a hard time deciding which version of BL2 I'm going to buy. I really enjoy playing with you guys but the xbox has always been my preferred console. Plus I have a couple of buddies I've known since middle school that I know will be getting it for the xbox. I could only imagine the butthurt if I picked it up for the ps3. I'm sure eventually I'll own it for both systems, need to wait for a good sale though before buying a second copy. I also dont want to run into another headset issue on the ps3, have I mentioned how much I hate that:bomb:

Went from level 38 to 43 in no time in the Lost Caves. Was one shotting those crabs and getting a ton of xp. They even had the ! next to them.

Well if you do decide to grab it for Ps3 down the road i'll be down for some co-op. Game seems a whole lot better co-op.

It's a guessing game to know what people are saying lol

I have a feeling the mics will be fixed in BL2. I will get it later when it drops. At least you have the option to pick the system of your liking.

Yeah, thanks for sticking it out with me. Those large arenas are fuckin brutal. Ah well, one down, two to go.
 
Thanks for the lost caves tip koopa, farmed it a couple times and leveled up twice. I'm not getting the 2k+ per kill anymore, still getting around 1.5k though. I'll probably farm it a level or two more then head of to the dahl headlands and see if there is somewhere I can farm xp there.

From what I've heard, the Fort Knoxx DLC is great for gaining levels. Granted, I would hope so since there's a trophy for level 61. I'm going to start it on Playthrough 2 so hopefully it'll make it that much faster. I also heard it's way hard but ah well.

I played it on pt2 on my Xbox and it was really tough, It got much easier though once I started leveling past 50. I've been doing it on pt1 on the ps3 and its not near as difficult.

Well, yeah, Pt1 is easier, but you get less XP too, right?
