Good games, Jman! I was actually pretty impressed with your Snake during the first few minutes of our first battle. You're pretty good with the grenades, but I noticed you only succeed with your mortar slide when you hit me with your dash attack.

To use the mortar slide correctly, dash, and hit down-C and Up-Z almost simultaneously. Then you can use it WITHOUT having to hit with your dash attack.

Sounds good. That is nice to know. I need to improve my snake as well.

Anyways, there will be no more hosted nights by either hero101, evergoo, or myself (at least for the time being).

It's not to say either of us won't participate, just more important engagements are nearing and we don't have the time to devote.

Brawl Nights will still be alive and will be totally controlled by the people posting.

Others that want to step up and take the role of hosting nights is perfectly fine by me.

As an homage to those other hosts, please thank hero101 and evergoo for their contributing efforts.
They always say thanks those whom you got your start from (and they aided along the way). :cool:

I only picked them up so no one else did, but that doesn't kill you.
You held on to the edge every time I was thrown over, so I had no choice but to die. Either way, You obviously better at the game then me, so it doesn't really matter, now does it.

On a somewhat unrelated note, are there any Smashers that are planning on getting a PS3 anytime soon? With the onset of the price drop, I figured we might have some folks here who might be interested in a Smash PS3 game share group.

Yeah, I have you on my list also. I played for about a month, then I never touched it again til recently.

Sony - the sneaky bastards that they are - genuinely are making a dive at my person with today's performance. If a deal appears in the future, I will alert others, and hopefully we can set up another group.

I still don't know if I should get a fat PS3 or wait for a Slim. For me, Slim = Fragile. Also, from what I understand, the 60gb80 GB plays Ps2 games, while the slim wont.

I already talked to Goo about it, and I think he said that the current group is full. I figured with the drop in price on the PS3, a couple of us might be new to the PS3 (myself included) so a Smash Gameshare Group (2?) might be a good idea.

As far as deals are concerned, Amazon still has the ongoing trade $60 for credit + $30 bonus, so that should work on the PS3.

Castle Crashers
MvC2
Braid

Beef, Suko, Jamezuva, and I are already in a long-term Smash Gameshare Group that I'm satisfied with but I know there's a lot of gameshare freelancers out there like Mad D, Joe, Yukine, and soon to be Blue, Strell, and Hero. ;) Chibijosh, Dmunkee, and Dyeknom also play the PS3 regularly so you might wanna hit them up too.

Hmm...speaking of PS3 Smashers, I just thought of a brilliant idea. Check yo' PMs soon!

It may take quite a few weeks to get here, but I won a $200 Bestbuy gift card. More than likely that'll go towards a PS3. It's also pretty likely that my brother will lay claim to it and I'll never get to play :lol:

Great idea! I'm a freelancer myself but getting in a group would be great (especially with those already accustom to me from smashing on cag).
 
Oh sorry, I had been playing with Jack for a while, and needed to get off to do some housework. Do you not have Jack on your list? He plays pretty frequently too.
