Wow! I made the same mistake with the 1-16 point total as well. I had Indy as my 1 and Dallas as my 2. Oh well better luck in Week 2. Congrats GlockGlock. For everyone that needs explanation here is the "Rules" page:
Since the contest is now closed to new players and there are a few people who want to get in on a football contest, do you guys have any ideas about some other kind of football contest I could have? I was thinking of something along the lines of the homerun derby, but with football stats. I'd love to hear your ideas.

You could do a Touchdown Pool where you had to pick each of the following positions:
- QB (Ex. Carson Palmer)
- RB (Ex. LT)
- TE (Ex. Jason Witten)
- WR (Ex. Marvin Harrison)
- Tiebreaker = Total TD's for the Week/end
It is similar to the HR contest and you don't have to restrict it as much because of the various players per position. You could also make it a TD/FG Pool where you also include a Kicker.
- QB (Ex. Carson Palmer)
- RB (Ex. LT)
- TE (Ex. Jason Witten)
- WR (Ex. Marvin Harrison)
- K (Ex. Rackers)
- Tiebreaker = Total TD's for the Week/end
Pick 4 qbs and most throwing yards win. Split up the tops qbs to make it interesting like pick one from Palmer, Peyton, Brady then like bulger, kitna, romo, mcnabb and free for all the rest. Tie breaker can be total tds throw.
Easier than adding up points and dealing with multiple positions.
I'm winning my group after the noon games...what is the prize for week 2?
It'll be a pick from the same prize pool as the homerun derby. I picked up some new stuff this weekend though, so look for some new stuff on there too.
Today is a day of upsets... Not working well for me.
same here, I thought this week was gonna be pretty predictable. definately didn't expcet the browns to score so much over the bengals. not gonna be anywhere close to the top this week.
