Sorry I missed today's game. I just got home from a friend's house. I totally forgot about Burnout today.

Yeah I hopped on around quarter to midnight and only Randy was on. Since Lost is over for now I'll probably be on earlier next week. 9PM EST?
 
Yeah, it didn't really work out this week (I had a really crazy day yesterday and had my PS3 away message up due to being quite busy). Next week I WILL be on and I may do the hosting if needed (since I'll be on my fast internet).
 
Sorry randy, I got back on and you were off, then when I got off again, you were back on but I needed to get a call again. Oh well.

Just a bad week.

I tried connecting with you but it was really wonky...got dumped out of the PSN and even had to sign in again. I think that was the point where I just bailed!

Yeah, we've got a 1 month reprieve from Lost so I can start a bit earlier over the next bunch of weeks, too. I need to hammer out some of the 2-player and 8-player challenges!

I hope not, but I fear it too. I only play BP on CAG nights now, so if the trend continues BP may go on the chopping block.

The demise of Burnout Paradise has been greatly exaggerated. DLC is coming!

That said, I won't be able to play this Thursday night...traveling to beautiful downtown Scranton, PA for business.
 
As long as people show up there'll be nights. I just hope people don't just forget about this game. It happens though. New games come out and people move on.

Anyone else showing up this thursday?
 
Depending on how far I am on my AI program that is due on Friday morning, I might or might not show up : / I still have to open the game from the shrink wrap still.
 
I'll be around for Thursday! Fun times. I am affraid GTAIV may put a dagger in BP next month though...That DLC will be well timed I bet to keep us coming back to BP. We shall see.
 
There's going to be DLC? Didn't know that. does anybody know exactly when it comes out?

I haven't heard anything about a date, either...just that it's coming. It will take the form of bridges from the mainland to islands with new challenges/content. If you roll back a few pages here someone posted a link to one of the gaming blogs with a few (very freakin' few) details.
 
Wait are you guys on EDT or EST? I'm confused now.. I'm in AZ and we don't do DST so I'm in MST, so if eastern is on DST, then it's 3 hours ahead of me..

Sorry guys, but I'm getting rid of it. Neve play it outside CAG nights and GT5 Prologue is coming in a few weeks ....... so there's only room for 1. Oh and GTA4 follows shortly after.

It hasn't worn out it's welcome for me yet...I still have quite a few challenges to complete. I enjoy the social/online aspect of it, as well.

I'll hold onto it until the DLC starts popping up...the quality/extent of that will determine whether or not I add it to my pantheon.

Brit: are you getting GTA4 for PS3 or 360? (Do you even have a 360?)

Me = a PS3 only brotha. So yeah I'll be getting it for the PS3.
 
Sorry, I tried to join but having a lot of net issues tonight. Not just on my PS3, but my computer keeps disconnecting too on instant messaging. Next week (if there is something), I will be there (since I will use different internet).

Btw, I will not buy GTA IV, but will get GT5P. GT5P and Burnout are different anyway.
 
I'm having VOIP and controller problems.

I could hear you guys talking over my headset but it wasn't picking up my response.

And every minute or so the red lights on the top of my controller would start flashing and I'd have to push the PS button to sync it up again.

WTF? I quit. Apologies to those I left hanging.
