Go to the ebay listing and check the bottom where it says FAQ, he says e emails the codes.
 
Honestly, I think they're just being agreeable. Maybe they'll do it if you ask beforehand, but it's definitely against eBay rules and it would be very easy for the buyer to say he never received it.

Thats true but I think he rather email it to people that are outside of Canda rather than pay shipping+customs, I mean he is selling them for $38 instead of $50

Having a misleading faq just to be agreeable wouldn't turn out so well for a seller.

Does no one reads the FAQ? ;) People should read the whole listing, not just the big letters.
 
I wasn't snapping at you, if that's what it seemed like. Oftentimes when Xbox Live cards or Microsoft Point cards are on sale on eBay, a lot of people complain that they don't receive theirs instantly when most sellers ship them by snail mail. I'm sorry if I seemed testy.

just got the code from the eBay seller for 38$ and got the 3 months as Sony says :)
so now i got 1 year + 3 for free = at 38$ :)

Good point. I just picked up a code from the Canadian seller as well. I think I'm set for a few months still but I might as well use it now.

BTW I just paid and got my code via eBay message in a few minutes. I'd say contact the seller.
 
Could this deal be stackable? If I were to buy two prepaid year cards from a local store and redeem them online would I end up with 30 months?

I just purchased the deal from Ebay (canada) and he sent me the code within 5 minutes. He probably has a lot of orders going through at the moment but i would still contact him just to make sure.
 
Been waiting for something like this to subscribe. Now how do I find out when my subscription ends? I'm sure it is easy to find I am just having trouble located the info.

I was planning to get a $50 PSN card at Sam's Club today so I could take advantage of this offer. Unfortunately, their network went down, so that means I couldn't purchase the card, as there wasn't a way to "activate" it. Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

I decided to take a flyer on this. Buyer protection is pretty good on Ebay so if I do not get a code or the card is not legit getting a refund on an item like this should be fairly easy.

So was the currency conversion for you guys $38.77 USD?

I bought from that seller yesterday and got the code quickly. The ridiculous part is that the code he gave me has been used. To check, I saw my ps+ never got extended. The seller hasn't responded to any of my emails. Gonna wait tomorrow for response before telling ebay cs.

he got so much orders he probably sent me someone else's code or that he sent my code to another person and that person claimed my code first. I think your order will be fine, I just got unlucky.
 
I ordered two at around 12pm EST and got both codes within 10 minutes. I can't verify the stack as I only bought one for myself and another for a present. But I can verify both worked without issue. Thanks OP.

I just renewed on 1/24, so I'm in the same boat. I called Sony customer service, and was told they could refund me what I spend on the subscription, and then I could rebuy it under the promotion. I was told, though, that since there would be a lapse in my subscription, that I might lose any free games that I got during the past year during my prior subscription, if they aren't being offered for free anymore.

This is different from what I've always heard about PS Plus. I was under the assumption that once your subscription lapsed, if you picked it up again, you could play anything you had picked up under your previous subscription. I told the rep that, and he said that he was told by the specialist he checked with that i might lose some stuff...

Anyone ever let a subscription lapse, and then renew later? If so, did you lose anything?

I let it expire, and renew many times, haven't lose anything.
