Where are the quiz packs?! They were coming pretty steadily for the first month or so... Does anyone know if there are any packs that have been released in other regions that haven't made it to america?

Maybe we'll see some more after the special edition gets on the market.

Hey there BUZZ! fans! Ever since BUZZ! Quiz TV debuted in September, we’ve been bringing you downloadable packs on a monthly basis to help you keep the fun going. Now, just in time for the holidays, we’re rolling out the latest all-new quiz pack: National Geographic: Undersea.

Available on December 23, the National Geographic: Undersea quiz pack will challenge you to test your nautical knowledge with over 500 questions like these:

WHICH FISH IS THE WORLD’S FASTEST SWIMMER?
* SAILFISH
* NORTH ATLANTIC COD
* PUFFERFISH
* SEA BASS

WHAT DO SPONGES EAT?
* NUTRIENTS DRAWN IN THROUGH THEIR PORES
* FISH CAUGHT WITH THEIR SHARP TEETH
* EELS KILLED BY EMITTING CHEMICALS
* NOTHING, THEY DO NOT NEED FOOD

WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING HAS THE MOST CONTROL OVER THE TIDES?
* THE MOON
* THE EARTH
* THE SUN
* MARS

The National Geographic: Undersea pack isn’t the only way to expand your catalog of BUZZ! questions. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the five other downloadable quiz packs that are already available, including National Geographic: Safari, Sci-Fi, Videogames, Horror and Comedy. And if that still doesn’t satisfy your thirst for new questions, you can always visit mybuzzquiz.com to view the hundreds of new quizzes created by your fellow BUZZ! fans each day. We’ve had more than 20,000 user-created quizzes uploaded to the North American MyBUZZ site, and that has amounted to more than 600,000 plays of those quizzes. Consider adding to those numbers by creating your own personalized trivia to stump your friends and family at your holiday gatherings.

Finally, if you’re new to BUZZ! Quiz TV, and you’re worried about getting pwnd by current BUZZ! masters, don’t panic! We’ve created this handy video to help you become an expert BUZZ! player, guiding you through the technical ins and outs of gameplay. Watch the video, then impress your friends and family with your amazing skills.

We are always looking for new ways to expand the BUZZ! fun and we have lots of surprises in store over the next few months…stay tuned! And happy holidays!

I have to say I got this for the family for Christmas and the wife and kids just love it. It is especially cool with the playstation eye. My daughter loves watching how many people play her magic tree house quiz, and online sofa to sofa multiplayer is a blast.

Cheers

Brett

Aww I want to get this.
Is it ever on sale for less then $60?

To those who have/played Scene It for 360, how does this compare?
Aww I want to get this.

Well (although I can't guarantee this is the main difference), Scene It may do a better job mixing up the game (Buzz! has the types of games depending on whether you do single player, user created quizzes, multi-player, or sofa vs. sofa); however, Buzz definitely has many more questions (or ones in tons of subjects, not just movie related stuff, like sports, around the world, science, gadgets, style, etc.). It even had DLC up (the video game pack is so worth it).
Wait, you can use the Playstation Eye on this?
You can use it to take pictures. I'm not sure about what else, I gotta look into it.

Is Buzz Night happening tonight? If so, I'm in!

Iirc, the PS Eye takes pictures of winners and losers during certain instances (asking you to pose). However, they always notify you which takes away the element of surprise.

Bah! I missed you guys playing tonight, but I did play with another friend on my game list..
Is there no voice chat at all?
Also I had the camera plugged in and recognized, but it never prompted to take a photo or anything at the end of the round. :(

BLAH i didn't get to play either.. my step son was playing LBP at the time.

Hmm, the ESRB.org now list Buzz! Jungle Party coming to PS3
Buzz!™ Jr. Jungle Party

Platform: PlayStation 3

Rating: Everyone 10+

Content descriptors: Comic Mischief, Crude Humor

Rating summary: This is a multiplayer party game in which players compete to earn the most points in a collection of whimsical mini-games. Mini-games include playing baseball with elephants, card games, knocking down a totem pole, and playing hot potato with a cartoon bomb – a comical blackening of the monkey occurs when it goes off. A "Bubble Bath" mini-game allows players to create bubbles with their flatulence. Monkeys react to a final burst of green gas by holding their noses or waving the air.

It's not really a quiz game, but uses the Buzz remotes for mini-games. I'll probably buy it. :lol:

Unfortunately it isn't online (just a PS2 port for PSN)

heh - but it should have trophies right? AFIK all games now must have trophies... right?

Buzz night is tonight at 9pm EST, just to let everyone know.
heh - but it should have trophies right? AFIK all games now must have trophies... right?
It probably will. I don't think the European version had it, but it came out back in August.

Finally got around to picking this up today. Seems like great value, especially with all of the user created quizzes.

Its fun with people in the same room. Especially families. Undoubtedly someone will have an advantage over everyone else in certain categories. Like, my sister can kick all of our asses in recent music, and style. I own gadgets, technology, and the like. My mom will always win at oldies, and my dad knows all the movie answers. Online is fun too, especially on CAG nights. They are usually very close games.

So far I've only played with my wife and it was a fun game. I'm looking forward to playing on a CAG night.

Not sure about making quizzes though - I made one and it's rated just over one star after 43 plays. I'm thinking it might be too hard or something because I feel like it's a pretty good quiz. If any CAGs could provide some feedback on it I'd appreciate it. I imagine you can find it by my psn name (although I'm not sure).

What's the URL to your quiz?
Add my PSN name Ipitythefool
LOL one of the best names I have seen. I am up for a game tonight, but if its during football its not going to happen lol.

Unless evergoo comes to post quickly, we'll probably have to cancel Buzz night this week. The only reason is because Mana Knight is basically dead right now and so badly needs to sleep. But we'll see.
hey, is the DLC worth it? It seems kinda expensive for some questions
Personally, I felt the Video Game DLC was worth it (It was $6). I got it because I felt it would be really cool having video game questions with videos, pictures, etc.

I was thinking about picking that up - what does the questions focus on? Is it all PS stuff or is it a mix? How would you rate it?
