BzzAgent--- Free products to test out
I signed up for this today. How long does it usually take for your first campaign to come?
I ask again.
I ask again.
Just depends. The campaigns open up on certain days, not by length of membership.

I just filled out the surveys the other day and I got invited to the UV sanitizer thing today and signed up (I was honest about my toothbrush, I already have an oral-b triumph so I only need the sanitizer).
Wait so I need to log back in to get the campaigns?.......
Yes, you'll either get invites via email or they'll just show up on your homescreen when you sign on.

If I signed up a few days ago is there any possibility that I could get invited to the toothbrush one? Is it still open?

And why are some people get the UV sanitizer and some getting the toothbrush?
If I signed up a few days ago is there any possibility that I could get invited to the toothbrush one? Is it still open?

And why are some people get the UV sanitizer and some getting the toothbrush?
Not a chance. With the Sonicare campaign, some people are getting the UV sanitizer and some are getting the Flexcare + UV sanitizer based on their answers to the pre-campaign survey. I went through and said that oral care is very important, that I'm not satisfied with what I have, I really like technology, etc etc and they chose me for the Flexcare + Sanitizer and it's freaking sweet.

So you're saying there's no chance that I'll get chosen for that campaign?
So you're saying there's no chance that I'll get chosen for that campaign?
That's typically what not a chance means. No chance. At least for this run through. They may do a similar campaign in the future... but I don't know about that as I've only been a BzzAgent for a few months.

Well you don't have to be sarcastic about it.

I kinda dig bzzagent

I got the listerine strips and the UV cleaner for the electric toothbrushes(we already have oral-b ones)

The listerine strips burnt my wifes gums though!

looking forward to some more cool stuff
So you're saying there's no chance that I'll get chosen for that campaign?
It may be possible. I got invited to the Listerine Whitestrips about 2 weeks ago when a whole bunch of members had already finished their campaing.

Alright, cool, thanks man. It sounds like there are a lot of sweet campaigns on this site. What are some other campaigns?

Ive no need for a laptop sleeve, I already have 3.
I've yet to find an item to purchase on Bzzagent. 500 points burning a hole in my pocket.
Donate it all to the Save Darfur program on the Listerine White Strips campaign! Educate yourself!
100 points is only a 10 $ donation. I doubt that 50 bucks will signifagantly aid any cause.
Are you kidding? Men are getting killed and women are being raped when they leave refugee camps to just gather firewood to cook their food. The numbers on the Darfur aid is $3 will protect a woman for a YEAR from rape by providing escorts when they have to leave the camps. 50/3 = 17 women protected for a year.

So yes, every bit of money helps. It's a genoicde, Stormtrooper30, that the money is going to stopping. You know, like on the Jews in the 40's, and in Rwanda in the 90's. Don't just sit by and believe there's nothing you can do while millions continue to be exterminated in Darfur.

Wtf, they had stuff for the Sonicare one when it first started, like a stapler and poker chips.. now they're gone.

You're telling me that for 3 dollars I can get a big huge man to be my bodyguard for a year? If so I have enough money to raise my own army of body guards.

I duobt that 3 dollars could last for a whole year. Maybe 200.

If there are millions of displaced people in Darfur, and they can get thousands of your "big body guards" over there to offer protection to the people when they have to go out, then yes the cost could be about $3 per person per year. $3 isn't enough for you? Send $300 then. If you don't know what it does, whatever, at least it does something that people care about, even if you don't.

Can we keep the thread on topic rather than making us feel guilty about ourselves? That's what church is for ;).

Indeed. Let us talk about that whiskey, or something.

Just making a point that every bit of money helps - it's kind of important that we get aid to Darfur! But don't get me started on church now, Wicked One! Ha. Ok, back to the topic at hand. I originally signed up for BzzAgent because of the tequila campaign - but I never got offered it. Sigh.
I'm not liking these listerine strips.
I don't like 'em either. It's hard to align & apply them correctly. I thought these were supposed to be "quick dissolve" strips. Mine seem to take a while to dissolve all the way. And it says there's no need to rinse, but it just feels weird to not rinse, so I do it anyway.
I'm not liking these listerine strips.
I don't like using them but they're working great. So it's hard to hate them too much. The taste is horrible, although it's not bad now that i'm used to them. I also call BS on not having to brush them out. I've left them in for an hour and still had crap all over my teeth. Most of it will dissolve but not all of it.

The people who hate these strips. Have you used teeth whitening strips before?
I think these have the same taste as the Crest Whitestrips. You pretty much get used to it.

About the white strips.
I've heard people say they smell horrible and taste bad. Never noticed either. And I've never used white strips before.
And they seem to dissolve in ~10 minutes. There still is a little bit of... I'm guessing its like gelatin, on my teeth but I just rub it off with my tongue.

I use em at night then just brush my teeth with the sonicare brush to remove the left over jello

Never used any white strips before. The taste was quite a shock at first but now it's no big deal. It's definitely something you get over.

they smell HORRIBLE before you put them in your mouth. once they "activate" the smell vanishes.

Yes, I've seen this posted before... So I smelled one right after taking it out of the package... Didn't notice anything.

I guess we are all entiltled to our own opinions.

I love the white strips. Ive used crest before and these are definately better mess wise. I think the crest ones whiten a little faster, but the listerine ones are just a lot more convinient to me.

The brush is amazing. I cant beleive I've been using a manual one my whole life.

Does anyone know of any more campaigns coming?

What the hell is this about free whiskey? Details please.

As far as more campaigns, I just took a survey about music, movies and video games, so maybe I'll get some free music or games. It would be better than Western Union coupons and a thermos.

Free whiskey... I haven't seen that mentioned.

There was a tequila campaign though. They didn't send you a free bottle, they sent a rebate form (has anyone received their rebate check yet?)

The Listerine Whitestrips are offering a BzzAgent baby shirt for 150pts...no picture though. I'm tempted but I think I'll wait and see if anything better comes along.

I was part of the Hornitos campaign as well but never got the rebate either.

Well I got my UV sanitizer today. It's completely useless of course, but yeah, free, and it looks neat and holds two of my brush heads.

Wait why is it completely useless? It's doesn't kill germs?

I'm another who bought my Hornitos and sent the form in right away. Nothing so far. BTW, did you find any of the new bottles/flavors? I was stuck with the Respado or whatever it's called and I didn't like it. From the descriptions, it was the one I figured I wouldn't like.

Same here. I wanted to get the more aged variety, but I could only find the old bottles. I was afraid I wasn't going to get the rebate until they sent out that email.

I'm sure it kills germs, it just killing germs that come from your own mouth. The best thing it does is probably protect the brush heads from getting other shit on em.

UV light doesn't really get rid of the germs. It just makes them sanitized germs, if that makes any sense. So they're still there, they just won't do anything.
