That's a good point you make!
As part of the new update I've created a KEY. It says that any names that look like this are CAGs who are done with the game, but still willing to help others on it. It makes it easier for some who don't want their name taken off the list just because they've completed it and they want to play some more.
If anyone wants me to do this for any games, then I'm happy to do it. There are already a few names that appear like this so be on the look out for them. Although that doesn't mean that everyone should spam them with FRs.
cleaner, i was actually trying to boost that game the other day and the person didn't end up helping. i haven't played it online at all, i have barely even played the story, but i would love to boost that game.
i have a question for everyone that owns call of duty 4. while there are no online achievements for this game, i can see wanting to boost prestige modes and weapon challenges (headshots for golden weapons). if people want to boost this, i think it should be able to be added in for people that want to boost it, i will use a fake account to help every now and then. the only problem with boosting these is that they either have to be done in a cage match or in a FULL domination or sabotage match (which means 12 people). so my question is basically should this game be added to the list or not? i was talking to cleaner and we are taking down games that don't have online achievements to boost for, but call of duty 4 is sort of an exception since the prestige modes and weapon challenges count for stuff as well.
anyways, just sort of looking for some feedback on this, i won't use my real accounts (both of my accounts have good stats that i don't want messed up), but i will still be willing to make a "dummy" account if we really need it.

Honestly, boosting gamerscore for achievements that are otherwise hard or impossible to get is one thing, but I don't really agree with this. There's too many people who've cheated (look at the recent GI issue about cheating in Call of Duty 4) to inflate their stats and overall score. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. I don't care if you all do it. I guess its my long winded way of saying, if you see me on COD4, please don't ask me to do that. I still play COD4 religiously and I worked my but off to get my 10th prestige. Not making any judgments against anyone that does boost it, I have to make that clear.

i got all my stuff on my own, so it doesn't matter to me. i have 2 gold cross accounts that i worked hard on to complete and to be honest, i am basically done with the game completely because of this now. the game has been out for almost a year, if people are still really worried about "cheating" like this, than i am sorry, but they really need a life. i wouldn't ask anyone to do it if they didn't want to, so don't get me wrong with that, but there are plenty of people that don't have the time to go get all their golden weapons or get to the 10th prestige that would like to do it which is my main reason for asking. these little boosting sessions to do this will not even get them breaking into the top 20,000 for kills, most likely not for accuracy, or even wins, so i don't see it as a big deal.
i get what you are saying, i did care at one point too when i was trying to break into the top 1,000 for kills (i made it to 1,400's before getting bored) and thats when i decided to start my 2nd account. between my 2 accounts i would still be in the top 1,500 for kills easily, but i honestly see it as that big of a deal, especially since i don't plan on putting in 85 days of playing time like the #1 person did.

hey man, sorry about not getting you in, but cleaner has some people at her place and i got off to get some dinner. cleaner won't have the game much longer, so i am mainly more trying to help her boost it until she gets the last of her online achievements, even before i finish since she had most of them done and then i will help people with it. it is also a lot faster to boost this in a 1v1 than with multiple people, but even once i finish all of mine i won't mind helping. also, didn't you need the marvel ones? i will help with those sometime this coming week and i am sure cleaner would be willing to as well, though i can't promise that.

CoD4 doesn't have online achievements? I could've sworn it did. When I got the game back when it first came out , I decided to get most of the single player achievements besides the beating the game on veteran ones , then sell the game off , since at the time I didn't have a gold account. Figured I could just rebuy the game once I do and get the achievements later.

there are 0 online achievements for CoD 4. trust me, i have played the game so much that i would have all of them anyways. they are all single player.

the single player ones are a real pain though, so if you aren't patient than don't bother. i had to retry some of the levels 10-20 times at least (veteran difficulty of course).

thats fine, i was playing CoD 4 for a little while with my brother and my clan and i must say that i hate playing on host from anywhere remotely away from the east coast. playing on a west coast host i was going like 20+ kills and under 15 deaths, but the amount of bullets people take from being a distance away is amazing. another example was these guys we played against from canada, i was putting 3 m16 burst into people (with stopping power) and getting killed by a UAV jammer SMG from across the map from the same person. anyways, enough about my little venting, i will be on for a while still, so whenever you are done just let me know if you are still going to be playing or not.

check the very first page and there is the newest list of what everyone has posted on there. the only thing i can suggest is to send a message on live to the users that have the game and try and set up a date for it.

just a question, but why does it need to be less than $5 and in good condition? you can easily just return it after this sunday with their return period on used games and while i doubt it will be less than $5, i wouldn't expect it to be much more than $10. i know the next couple of nights cleaner and myself have a couple games we have to boost, she needs to finish lost planet and i need to get to 10 hours on college hoops 2k7. so far the only CAG i have played with is her and the new guy we talked into joining (smokenrocket). bioshocked, we need you to hop on college hoops (even if you just want to quit the match) to give cleaner her last feedback that she needs and i could use anyone willing to help me with it other than cleaner and smoken since they can't always be there and the time resets soon.

I feel bad for not being able to help out very much. I would help more often but my work schedule is very random and I've been doing a lot of closings the last few weeks. I know it's not always possible , but if I can get advance notice of when there might be a boosting session or a mutilplayer game for something (advance being at least a day ahead of time) I might be able to plan ahead and show up.

i will go ahead and say this now, most of the achievements will take some time to do in both of those and are best if done in 1v1 matches. since i didn't even know you had either of them flybrione, i'd suggest you check your list on the first page and update it a little since cleaner is going to send a new update to glockglock soon (same goes to anyone that has games WITH multiplayer achievements in games, i didn't see you listed under lost planet either craven). i don't mind helping with most of the achievements in either one, the biggest problem i see is that both of you need everything in both games which can end up taking a lot of time for me if i am boosting both of you.
don't get me wrong, i honestly don't mind helping at least a little, but i would say that craven fiend and flybrione should try and boost both games together at first and if you need any pointers than to message me and i can at least show you how to do it semi-quickly.

as i suggested to cravenfiend and flybrione, message that list of yours to cleaner7. i also suggest making it alphabetical order and only including games that have online achievements. you will be added to the new update she is working on and it will be posted on page 1 (for anyone new who doesn't know this, the master list of games people are boosting is up in the very first post). i am usually on around those times you mentioned, but i also have plenty of people asking me to boost with them and i have a fairly good group on my friends list that i trust won't just quit out on me as soon as they finish if i let them get achievements first, so don't take it personal if i don't play with you for a few nights, i usually play with the same bunch of people almost every night.
also, i know some of us are limited in our friends list space, so please add the official gamerscore whore "CAG GSW" too your friends list so we can find you on there. when you message cleaner7 with your list, let her know when you are available to play and your gamertag since that is up on page 1 as well.
last, while playing with cleaner7 last night, we were trying to figure out a more organized way to boost certain games. ones that require "x" amount of people to do it can be hard to come up with, even with knowing who has the game since everyone has different schedules. she suggested making like a calender with each game set for a certain day, for example: the orange box, team fortress 2 would be done on a saturday night, we would get the ones that require having that amount of people done and then schedule a new game for the next saturday. my problem with this is still not everyone can make this and once people get those achievements, they tend to move on to something else and seem unwilling to help others who couldn't make it since it won't give them anything (which is the main reason why i only boost with certain people now). from what it looks like, cravenfiend can only make it around 2:45am eastern which is going to be killing almost any chance he has of getting these achievements since it seems like there are only a few people online boosting during these hours (myself included which is why i only see a few people on). anyways, we do need to come up with something for these achievements and i know all of us would appreciate any idea that someone may have to help with this. i personally want to help as many people get things as possible and it just seems like certain people are just going to get left out. maybe some of us can do it one night and then set up a day where those people who got the achievement can help those who didn't and work to that persons availability, but i don't know how well that will work.

also, i get the feeling people don't add a game to their list unless they see it up on the master list. if anyone has a game that has online multiplayer achievements, add it to your list even if it is not up there. this isn't directed at you flybrione and i know people with huge collections like you and myself will end up updating a lot more and sometimes miss games, but for cleaner's sake i am trying to help get everything as organized as possible too, so if you have any other games, try and find out before she sends the update.
last, i would like to ask people to clarify if they have finished a game but are willing to help in it. i am personally not going to keep people on my friends list if i see that they are unwilling to help others as soon as they finish since that is one thing that really bothers me, so if you aren't willing to help others sometimes, don't bother asking me to help. anyways, back to my point, if you own a game and have finished it, but are willing to help, include that in your list as well and just put a message next to it saying "done, but will help". on the master list these people are separated to the bottom of the list and highlighted in green, so please use these people as a last resort if you can't find someone else to help.
edit: flybrione, i will show you the quickest way myself and cleaner found to work on lost planet, if you can get on it now i will show it to you. i need to get some more sleep though, i have only had like 2 hours of sleep and someone woke me up, so it will have to be quick.
I just noticed I was on the Uno list, I just recently finished up that for my points, but can help anyone out that needs some of the player driven achievements. I think the easiest thing to do for wins, would be partners and no score, that way a win happens every round.
Also, I'll look at what games I've got that have online achievements later this evening. Splinter Cell comes to mind, as do all of the Orange Box games, and NCAA Football 09 (just need to play a ranked game and a few other variable ones 5 INT and FG for TD come to mind).

like i said, try and get everything together and message it to cleaner7 including those times that you can play. i know she checks this stuff, but it is probably easiest on her if you just send it to her by pm so she can refer to it at any time instead of having to scroll through pages of stuff just to find everything. also, i hope everyone knows she is doing this voluntarily, so please do as much as you can to make things easy for her. i know i have a hard enough time keeping my own list organized and updated and she is doing this for everyone in the group that has put up a list. i don't mind if people want to message me with their things as well and i will just pass them on to her if necessary if you don't want to organize your list, just make sure you let us know everything you can before the updates so they don't have to be massive ones done every week.
edit: i am going back to sleep now, so i will have help everyone later tonight with tips on certain games and showing everyone the quickest way to do things.

Wow, lots of updates! Glad to see people posting again. I'll update the list when I get home tonight and will email it to GLOCKGLOCK when I'm done.
As Inuyasha stated, the Master of Ceremonies achievement boost is set for 6-10 pm this Saturday. I think it's MST but will double check tonight.
Tomorrow I'll try to go pick up a copy of NBA Live 07 to help with the 1000 people online achievement on Sunday.
I forgot to bring Lost Planet today so tonight will be my last night to help anyone on it until I buy it again. My suggestion for people boosting it is to do 1 v 1 since it goes by soooooo much faster once you learn the map. It didn't take long for Inuyasha to catch up to me. I started at level 30 and made it to level 50 while he started at level 1 and ended at level 34 while helping me. It's definitely hardest when ranking up those last 10-20 levels, but I don't see it taking more than a week if you play for an hour or 2 each night.
On that note, what do you guys think of me adding boosting tips next to some games? I'd put them in spoiler tags so they don't take up much room. For example, here's what I'd do for LP.
When boosting for the level 50 achievement do the following game type with one other person and switch who wins every game.
Game Type: Post Grab
Weapon: Rifle (this makes it easy if you're going for the 50 headshot achievement as well)
Map: Training Facility
Variant/Configuration: 3
If both people need the points then have the person who spawns on the outside (player 1) capture those 3 posts and the person in the maze (player 2) capture the 3 posts closest to them. Then whoever is winning the round will capture the rest of the posts that the other player initially captured. The loser should NOT capture any posts that the winner has captured.
Is everyone up for Halo 3 boosting tomorrow night?
Most likely Splinter Cell DA boosting will start this weekend. I will have to look up how many people we need to start a match and various other details so I'll let you guys know more tonight.
What I'm doing is focusing on 1 or 2 online games at a time and then moving on to a new one when I'm done with the current ones. This will allow me to run through my multiplayer list and hopefully cut it down. That's not to say that I'm not willing to help others when I'm done with my achievements. If you ever see me on and want to boost, then send me a message. Although it's more efficient if both people involved need the achievements since it's mutually rewarding.

I'd be up for some Halo 3 tomorrow night, depending on when we would be starting. I probably wouldn't be on earlier than 10 PM ET. Maybe a bit throughout the day, but definitely after 10 ET. I need to hop on some time and get the last ranked achievement (killtacular or whatever in ranked FFA)
