We need a host for the private matches this Saturday. Let me know who is interested in doing it, and I'll put them in the OP. I will lead next week, and I won't fall asleep again. :p

Hey, is it a private game tonight? I finally got my copy so I'd love to join in, but if you're playing other people I'd probably just be a big target.

If you get in, you will receive an invite from one of us, and you just accept it.

If you get a server error or unable to join, just keep waiting (sometimes there are invite issues).

Private game tonight @ 9pm. It won't be all easy though, but at least you'll be around some you know. :D

Don't worry about losing connection (we all did). Just stay on usually and you'll get another invite; however, I'm having problems right now getting into any game.

EDIT: I just cannot connect with anyone tonight, so I'm going to bail out.

Well, come to find out, it appears several had a hard time re-connecting with Buddah and such. :whistle2:( The thing is, it appears when I'm hosting (along with not forgetting to open up my DMZ), I'm the only one who can host several people and not run into disconnect issues. However, I could not host this weekend due to being in my apartment (my apartment's internet is too secure and sometimes too slow, and just can't set it to Type 2 regardless).

Well, to tell everyone the situation:
4/12 - I can host.
4/19 - I cannot host.
4/26 - I might be able to host if I go home.
5/2 - I can host here and every weekend after that (unless I go back to my apartment the day before graduation).

This is only the case if I can get my project working and graduate college. So basically, the good news is I'll be able to take charge of hosting Warhawk and CoD4 just about every weekend from now on except one, but that's only if everything goes well.

I greatly apologize to everyone for the strange hosting. I was told my apartment had fast internet, but it was a lie for the most part (I would have paid to have gotten better internet, but it's too late).

Sorry Guys!! Doing this WS program is really getting the best of me! I passed out at like 8:30 last night and just woke up..Again my bad for not being there to host when i said I would, thanks to whoever picked up the slack!!

I need to play more with you guys...

I didn't play for about a week (or something like that-it may have been closer to about five days or so), and I played again tonight. I sucked. It was quite bad. This was my first overall losing night in quite some time.

All right everyone, I will be back in my hometown this weekend, so I will host the game for you guys (and if I assure I have the DMZ open on my PS3, there shouldn't be any issues like last week). There will be a game this Saturday, 4/12. I'll probably stick to 9pm EST, but considering time changes. I was just taking a break from CAG (to relieve some stress), but recently got into a trading scam (like many others) and had to return early.

Don't worry prm, it was a mess last week, but hopefully things are better this weekend (since I'm running the game).

I traded for this game with another CAG. Do I need to do anything to join the clan? I've played all of 10 minutes of the SP story, looks great. I'll try to get in on the next night if that works out.

BTW, I still have a hard time with console FPS's so I might suck...

To join the clan, all you have to do is gain enough exp to unlock clan tags. Then, anyone could add CAG as their tag at any time. This game is pretty lacking in group feature online.

If you make this week's CAG night, be prepared to be frustrated as everyone else will probably have a lot more "perks" than you. Putting you at a disadvantage.

Enjoy the SP, it's fantastic!

Thanks for the info, the manual sure is lacking details. A few questions though:
-Can I gain experience through single player or online only?
-What type of perks would others have? Weapons, armour, etc?

I don't mind sucking large with you guys, as long as I'm getting the XP points. If I'm a moving target, I'll make sure to do this a few times to make me easier to hit
:booty:

-Can only gain exp online
- as you get more exp you get better weapons and some things include martyrdom (you drop a grenade when you die), more bullets, faster firing, claymores, 3x grenades, better sights, etc.

Actually on 'CAG night' we tend to do private matchs, which are like warhawk nights in the fact that there's no XP points involved. Just friendly fragging.

I enjoyed being the sole level 1 player in last week's game. Actually I think I was the only one in the single digits. I was pretty thrilled to see that I only came in second-to-last in the opening FFA, but then I realized it was because Amicusu joined right at the very end. :wall:

I'll try ranking up a bit after I finish the campaign. I'm still in Act I but so far it's been fantastic.

:booty:
Sometimes during the week, we do party matches, so people can gain XP.

Game just froze up on me at the end of the sniper mission. :< Really great mission though, plus the end of the first act was incredible.

I'm not sure if it's improving my deathmatching ability since I still die a ton, but oh well.
I still havent went back to the sp campaign..The online aspect is digital crack for me!!
I haven't even touched the single player.
Sometimes during the week, we do party matches, so people can gain XP.
I need to get in on those.
I haven't even touched the single player.
Haha, I barely have either. I went over a month without touching it, but finally beat one mission. I don't really care, since I bought for online.

You guys should try the Single player out when you can. There are some intense fire fights. The night time assault is just nuts.

I made sure I finished SP before ever going online. This is actually my first COD title, and wasn't sure how good I'd be trying to compete with all the vets out there.

There are some awesome cinematic moments in SP, I highly recommend it. It's only a dozen hours or so long, so it can be finished in a few days.

I'm glad I went through it first on SP, then hit the MP. I have a feeling that if I'd done it the other way around the SP just wouldn't have been as awesome. There's something about going into it fresh.

Yeah, I definitely bought it for online. One of these days, if I have an hour or so, and I am doing really, really bad online, I'll try out single player.
Thats my problem.. I pretty much dove right into MP, now the SP is not as fresh
Same here.

I played both at the same time. I started with the single player first. Half way through I started playing MP. I pretty much play now only when friends are online like ghost or smiggity.

Wow, the single player is even shorter than I expected. I probably did two and a half decent-sized play sessions and it's already over.

I tried out a few multiplayer matches and I did way better than in last week's game. I guess I just have a better feel from the controls and pace of the game now. I'm already level 4, look out!

Woo, I actually did well tonight. I think my theory that I do better the earlier I play is correct, as I started off doing really well tonight, and then started sucking as the night went on. I played my last match on Bloc before going to bed, and actually did extremely well, so maybe my theory isn't totally correct.

Does anyone else have trouble killing people with their airstrikes? I called in three airstrikes tonight, and did not kill a single enemy.

Yeah, I noticed that for myself too. That's because the decent/casual players play early. The more hardcore players are out in full force at night. Next time you do this, take a look at the class range of the other people. You'll notice at night that nearly everyone is prestige.

this is almost always true but also he could just have been getting tired thats the main culprit for me especially late late night like 2-3am
