CAG Call of Duty 4 Night [Wednesday, 8pm EST]

Woo...just finished the single player. On easy. That was a freakin' blast!

Plot related question:
Maybe I missed something, but what was the significance of the extra bit on the plane at the end, after the credits?

I'm a little skeered of the online experience...need to find some other newbies to play with.
 
Hey Mana, and whoever else hosts. I was wondering if it might work to have a CoD PSN ID that you could use for all the CoD invites? Know you're friend list stays full... Maybe on certain days you could log on the CoD one or a Warhawk id for example.
 
Does anyone else think grenades should be banned in Headquarters? Almost every game I play turns into a huge grenade festival when defending the HQ.
 
To let everyone know, there will be a private game this Saturday at 9pm EST. Those who are friends with me, or friends of mine who will attend can join.

Also, a half hour before the match, I'm thinking of doing some ranked matches with some CAGs BEFORE 9pm EST (like 8 or 8:30pm EST). However, I'd only invite up to 5.

If not, I will look into creating a sub account one day.

that's partially true, though I think special grenades should be allowed. I've learned not to whole myself in that room if I'm not the only one alive. Smog and I were playing last night in a team tactical hq and we were getting smoked out like no other with nades. It was really frustrating : /

Last time, I believe it was Saturday, I invited one of my non-CAG friends. Is that OK, as long as there is room?

my psn is V4oldboy[/QUOTE]You don't have to be in the clan, but as long as you are on one of our buddy list who normally comes (StrandedBrit and I are full), you can join us.

Anyway, I'm highly considering creating a CAG PSN account which the 50 most active people will become friends with, and I will allow a few to use that PSN account when needed (I'd be the one creating the name and password). It would be CAG something for the name and I'm also looking at creating a CAG PSN email address along with it (so people can requests to be that person's friend).
 
I'm always playing Call so Stranded just send me a message on the PSN when you're ready (and I'm on) and I'll drop out of the current game and get ready for your invite.
 
Any of you guys good with the sniper rifle? Always good to have a sniper or two on the team, but seams the wasn't any on ours last night. I turned into a makeshift sniper halfway thru that sabotage game (thanks to overkill perk). And didn't do to bad. That why you guys had almost double my kills, but at least for once my k/d ratio was decent.
 
Yeah, as you guys can tell I am more of a Rambo type than a Sniper..Next time I will go with M4 ACOG and get on the rooftops...

Playing a sniper can be fun, but you have to make some trade offs. I like to play as a sniper, but it keeps your overall score low. I like to think I make the critical kills (and call out spotted enemies) to push my team over the top in matches even if I have the lowest number of them. So I get a lower number of kills, but I seem to also have a low number of deaths per round.

Since the patch, my accuracy has shot up from 19.25ish and is climbing over 20% now. Really wonder what it would have been if the shots were counting like they should have prior to the patch.

True, true. The small number of times I go sniper I kill only about half to a third as many people, but my k/d ration is usualoly 2:1 or better. Going rambo I'm lucky to break even, but get a crapload of kills.

Id like to play tonight, but not sure how... I have someone from cag on my list but dont know if he plays in these games...

I'm going to turn the game on in 15-20 minutes after I take a shower. Sorry, I forgot to list some kind of map rotation.

I will make the private match, so be prepared for invites from me.
