This HAS to be some sort of error, but in Showcase Magazine (a magazine for southwest Virginia), the have said Melty Blood: Act Cadenza is slated for June release. No way this is true.

I have an actual copy of the mag too, so here is a scan. I put a red dot near Melty.



Wishful thinking I'm sure. Still weird it would be in this magazine though.

It's scheduled for an August release in Japan and given how... Japanese it is, there's no way in Hell that it would come out in the US let alone in June.

Both systems however were marketed to the hardcore in their yesteryears, due to the abundances of shmups and fighters... PS2 is replacing both of them real fast.

Treausre is going to wise up and eventually port over Radiant Silvergun and Guardian Heroes to PS2. Hell, they already did it with Gunstar Heroes / Dynamite Headdy.

Hell, maybe we could even get a Shinobi collection too... we're so close to eliminating the need for a Genesis and a Saturn entirely... Sega will probably announce something soon since their current batch of Sega Ages compilations ends when Last Bronx comes out this month.

I know some direct links that aren't torrents if anyone wants them. It's a faster download... I just have to re-find them
 
Loli Fighter Zero is pretty bad....just too slow....and I'm not into the whole "panty shots of girls under the age of 10" thing :lol:
 
Apossum - Thanks for reminding me to pick up CvS 2 for PS2... I grabbed a copy today, and I forgot how much fun this game was.

The funny part is that I've owned it since it's japanese release on the DC, it was just too much of an effort to play it.

Two questions:

1) KoF: Orochi Collection is a perfect port of KoF 95 - 97? It would be nice to sell my copy of KoF Best Collection on the Saturn and get this... I hate messing with all those damn ram carts.

2) Will KoF Nests Collection have KoF 99: Evolution? And I thought it didn't include KoF 2002, but Play Asia says it does?

1) They are perfect ports. SNK did not mess these up.
2) I'm pretty sure no it won't
If you are looking to get rid of some Saturn stuff let me know. I'm always looking for Saturn games.

Sorry, but I want top dollar for all of these, so that's why I'm gonna list them on Ebay instead of making a TL. It amazes me thought that people pay so much for these games when perfect ports exist on PS2 for cheaper.

Thanks for the quick reply though... it seems odd that Play Asia would list KoF 2002 though if it's not going to be in there. If only there would port KoF 98 now :( Or did you mean it won't include KoF 99: Evolution?

It does have Evolution. That's potentially the most impressive part of this compilation. It's even reflected in the cover art for NESTS at Play-Asia.

On that note: played a copy of Battle Raper 2... plays like a very mediocre fighter. Looks and plays like a budget title. It's not even obviouse it's a porn game until in between figthing and when the clothes get ripped off (which is silly to watch). Note: I played this on a PS2 pad, so if it's better on keyboard, LMK.

:lol: I don't know... I've put over 100 hours into DoAXBV, and played the hell out of every singel DoA game. On top of that I also played a ton of rumble roses and have an odd crush on Tira from SCIII :lol:

I sure will! I love the feeling of having all my favorite games on one console... it makes things SO much easier then having them spread out across 3 or 4 different systems.

Oh man i missed that big time. Sorry then. Roufuss, about the Capcom vs SNK 2 Fan disc they gave away, I dont know much about it but i do have one. It would be nice if it was worth something.

I don't know... some guy has one in his Ebay store for $23, but he has listed under it's formal name, Capcom Taisen Fan Disc and nobody knows to look for it under that.

Only issue with that sig is that Jill Valentine doesn't say "Come on! Come on!" That's Terry Bogard, and he fucking yells it.

well, the reasons why I didn't like it was not even due to that. It was mainly that I felt the gameplay was stretched out way way too much. I'll only post reasons why if people want to know my reasoning.

it is totally awesome...tre jealous! I even gave him props for such an exciting stash but he shouldn't have even tried to make up a story about it cause his is pretty loose :lol: I have no theories but the Earthbound proto just doesn't match up with the guy who worked on the Campus Challenge...among other things.
 
Just a heads up, but there WILL be a guide made for Street Fighter Alpha Anthology... I know the Anniversary Collection guide was awesome, and I hope this guide will be awesome too since it should cover all 5 games.

This is one I'm not waiting to get pennied out, and I'm getting it as soon as I buy the game.
