the daily late-night CODing took it's toll on me....I should be on this weekend though.
 
It's Friday. People are out. Hell, I should be out doing something, but I barely slept last night, partly due to COD4, and I just finished a 2 hour workout. I'm watching Smackdown, and I'll likely be on COD at 10 Pacific.
 
I haven't played in a week or two but I might get back on tonight. Last time Criminal and OneGoodBurp tore it up with me. I'll send you a message if I see you on Matt.
 
Wait, there are nights without homoerotism?

And really, without the homoerotism it's just a bunch of guys playing Call of Duty 4. Who wants that? I know I don't.

I will be on about 12:30/1 EST tonight after I get out of work.

Played a little bit of Merc TDM before work and had a couple fun games where guys actually had mics and there wasn't really any trash talking. I just ran around with the noob tube the whole time like an a**hole. The best was on Bog, the other team decided to try and all stay inside their spawn (C side building) and I just kept shooting grenades in there. One of the times I got 4 kills with one shot.
 
Hey I haven't been on the past two days! :cry: I was out in Hollywood watching Serj Tankian preform at the Jimmy Kimmel show last night, so I'll hop on tonight for awhile and catch up with the CAGs.

I'm just totally jealous that you all get such great shows literally every night of the week out there. Me on the other hand, I get to go to shows just because they're happening, not because I really like the bands playing.
 
I need to go to more show. I'm close enough to L.A. where I could go, but far enough away (1 hour or so drive, depending on traffic) that it's easy to find a reason not to.

I usually don't like to going to shows anymore. Especially since my friends in Chicago either don't like the same music, or are very boring to hang with at concerts. (Personally, I like to stand in the very front and possibly go a little crazy!

I did, however, buy tickets for IRON MAIDEN @ ALLSTATE ARENA and GIGANTOUR at the ARAGON BALLROOM!

WOOOOO! In Flames, Childron of Bodom, Megadeth, Maiden, etc....

Anyways, I'm going online right now to see what's up. If none of you guys are online, I'll play the anti-exciting N+
 
I'll be on after the last hour of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is broadcast, and that ends 2 hours from now. Actually, it starts in one hour, so I may as well get on for an hour now. Gotta get that 55!
 
Had a hell of a time last night with you guys. Kind of stinks we lost our mojo after the chat started picking up, around the time we told how we got our Gamertags. See what happens when we get close!?

Heck of a lot more fun then dog sledding and hunting in Alaska, I'll say that much.
 
I had fun playing with the CAGs tonight! We had to warm up on our first few matches in till we kicked ass, and as always we had our crazy moments with Simon!

Oh and if any So Cal CAGs want to join in on some concerts or anything else just hit me up, I love going out to do stuff in Hollywood.

Hell yeah dude! I ordered my Maiden tix today, still need to see if Gigantour is worth it for Megadeth. They were a tight show when i saw them years ago at the first Gigantour.
 
Simon and I were talking and we thought it would be cool to arrange a CAG poker night after one of our COD sessions. We already play Uno a bunch, but it might be fun to try out a little Texas Hold Em for those who got that.

So, I took that intentionally gay looking pic to send Simon after everyone left for Uno and I couldn't join you guys... Then I decided to send it to all the CAGs who had been in the room.

I got a message from "Khondor". It was either his little sister or his girlfriend, I guess. Some female voice said, "Um, hi... I'm not sure why you sent that picture, but I'll be sure to let Mr. Khondor know." I LOL'd.

but the damn box froze up mid game.

How much is Texas Hold 'Em? I don't even know how to play poker, but I'm interested.
 
Those post match uno games are fun. I would be in for hold em. It is a whole lot easier to chat during uno than it is COD4.

A few of you guys got me started on Carcassonne one night and that has become the arcade game I play to get started or to wind down at the end of the night. It makes a while lot more sense when you know how to play. :)
 
Little late, but I had a great time on Thursday. I'll definitely be playing more with you guys.

It seems like I missed some more craziness after I left tho.

Played with some CAGs this afternoon. Fun time, as always. Highlight of the two funniest plays today:

1. Map is shipment. The Headquarter is in the corner with the three dumpsters. I'm the only one left, and I am in the center of the map. I run out of the center and make a right to the Headquarter. I see two people next to it (one prone, other crouched, both looking forward at other side (one with car in corner). There is another near the Headquarter in the cargo box. He starts shooting at me. I had a claymore already in my hand while I was running and I quickly place right next to the proned person, killing them both. The guy in the Cargo Box comes out and kills me. Meanwhile, another person behind the side Cargo Box comes out too. My Martydom gets them both, giving us an extra 10+ seconds. Two with claymore, two with Martydom

2. Map is Bloc. Headquarters. The Headquarter is on the second floor in the building that has the baby carriage, etc.. it has the sky shining in it (not the building that has the fire). I'm on the second floor adjacent to the Headquarter. I pull out my C4 and jump out the window. I pull and hold left trigger (throw), and click the left thumbstick to run. I near the window of the Headquarter and while still running, I jump and release the left trigger, throwing the C4 through the window. After like a second (hasn't landed yet), I pull the right trigger, blowing it up and killing three people.
 
If nothing else, playing with you guys has helped out my win percentage. I'm just about to break into an even 1.00

I had a lot of fun playing in those games with you Chrono. Sucks about that headquarters glitch though. If any CAGs see me online on the CAGCOD4 friends list, don't be hesitant to invite me, even if I'm playing another game.

Yeah, Carcassonne is my wind-down game as well. Thorbahn, Simon, and I played it Friday night after we finished playing Call of Duty 4. I'd definitely be up for more.

Hell yes, Carcassonne! I am more than happy to incorporate that into the game play list. Do you guys play with the expansion pack, or just the default tile set?

Anyway, after weekend of no XBox I am going into withdrawals, and will definately be playing tonight.

Ohh this should defiantly be an interesting night. Guess I should get some practice in on Carcassonne so I perform somewhat better then "drop random tiles and try to finish castles!".
 
I have carcassonne, and played it a few times, but I still have no clue how to really play that game well yet.. I got alot to learn

I just saw Maiden at the Forum a few months ago. You're in for a treat Simon. It was one of the best Maiden shows I've been to. Up the Irons!

I'm definately gonna pick up the new maps tomorrow. So if anyone is on Tuesday and wants to play sent me an invite.
